The manager that was there on site was very helpful and friendly. The online person was friendly as well, but it’s nice to have someone there with you in person.

I will never use one of your automated Uhaul places again. When you eliminate employees through automation, it is supposed to eliminate the work. You just put all the work onto the customer instead. That was the most tedious app process to sign out. I was there for 15 minutes filling everything in, my wife got a surprise phone call from Uhaul, countless pictures that wouldn't upload because of poor signal in the area. There was no signal in the store so I had to stand in the 90+ degree heat filling this out. Then when I returned it, same thing. I went to drop keys off, nope, had to walk all the way back to where I parked to get the required picture of the dashboard to see mileage and gas (something your employees used to do). Then I walked back to drop off the keys again, nope, now I was required to walk back and get pictures of inside and outside of the vehicle (something your employees used to do). Then I went back to return the key, nope, now I had to get a picture of where I parked (not needed when you had employees there). All of these pics again had to be uploaded in the heat. It literally would have been easier to buy a used car then what I went through. It is way easier to rent a car at any car rental place where I just walk up and take it. If all Uhauls are going to this method, then I will be done with Uhaul for good. This was a horrible experience!

First how about you have an actual person there to help you. This facility operates using a TV screen in which you speak to someone that probably isn't even in this state or country. Second when I booked this I declined the coverage for safe move because I was going such a short distance but was charged. After filing a dispute I got an email from Rick Ruiz scolding me for a mistake your company made. I'm done with uhaul. I've had way too many issues

The virtual assistant had a smarmy attitude that I did not appreciate. When I said I did not have a second reference he said it was necessary. I complained while giving my niece’s info (she lives 1200 miles away and would have no idea where I was) and he said to me that I didn’t have to rent from them (Mid Storage), he said it with a smile on his face. And then he just sat there waiting for my reply which was to go ahead with the transaction. There are a multitude of ways that he could have responded to my complaining. For example, he could have said he understood but that it wasn’t his policy or something along those lines. If he told every customer that had somewhat of a complaint to basically take our business elsewhere this location could go out of business. I do find it utterly ridiculous that I needed 2 references to rent 2 -$7 trolleys. The location is convenient but I’ll definitely reconsider the next time I need anything from this location.

The truck and equipment were great. The check out experience was difficult in the app because the signal at this location is poor. The check in experience was awful and I had to call twice and do a live chat to get the bill sorted out.

Wrong truck was available for mobile pickup. When I asked them later about it, they said I should have called their office #. I called U-Haul and they were not able to help me either so I climbed over the fence with the correct key and got the correct truck. Not a good start and will be renting directly from a Uhaul center in the future.

Midgard was a great location and tgeir oersonell was excellent. However our experience with U-haul phone personnel and overall process was abysmal- very complicated to deal with to make a modification to a reservation and information from u-haul different from the one we received from Midgard. We won’t be using U-haul again

The only reason I did not rate Midgard as "excellent" is because the check-in experience took about 45 minutes. I chose not to download the app or do the online form until I arrived to pick up my rental truck. But the virtual asst. was helpful, and then Pete, the onsite manager, was available to help towards the end. The other issue was poor Internet in their office, but I was able to do it all outside on the sidewalk. The truck was quite clean, had a full tank of gas, and was easy to drive. There were plenty of scratches and marks on the exterior, but we took photos, as Pete suggested, and almost all of the marks were already identified with stickers. Pete suggested taking photos of the odometer and gas gauge as well. When we returned the truck several hours later, the check-out experience with Pete was very efficient. This location allows for a key pick-up outside the building, as well as a dropbox for key returns.

Location needs better cell/wi-fi coverage to help expedite check ins and outs. Could also use a better variety of equipment available to rent down to hand trucks and carts.

There's only a virtual assistant no one was there to get the keys the person who's supposed to run it that they called had their phone off took me an hour to get out of there with my truck. They charge me for gas when I had already put gas in it. I only went 12 miles and they charge me for a 26 foot truck when I rented a 20 foot truck never use U-Haul again.

The truck was fine but the virtual manager experience was horrible. Add to that find my truck was difficult then I had to function as an unpaid attendant and spent about 20 minutes in a poorly served cellular phone service area checking my truck in.

This location also rents storage space. I specifically asked if I would be able to drop off the trailer there and was told yes. Then, when I arrived and asked the virtual assistance where I was to drop off the trailer I was told to leave it by the rest of the U-Haul equipment. Later that evening I get a voicemail from the same person saying that location does not deal with trailers and that I was going to have to come get it and drop if off somewhere else. Totally ridiculous. I called the U-Haul 1-800 number and spoke to a really nice lady who said she would advise the district manager of the situation and they would handle it. So I'm very pleased with U-Haul as a company, but not with MidGard storage.

Super easy to rent and follow the information given to be able to rent with ease. Peter was so friendly helpful in the whole process and even assisted me in getting the equipment I added to my U-Haul truck. Moving is never easy but at least they made the day that much better.

Equipment does not include cruise control and may need new brakes (rotors). Equipment rental in particular has seen better days and the taped windscreen is not something I would like to see in the future. All dings and dents were marked with the "X" showing it had been accounted for already. Due to the FEMA mandates, other rental companies cancelled truck reservations so UHaul is where I had to go. I was not able to be too picky as long as the truck was reasonably sized. I will use the location again for sure and the trucks all appear to be in good working order.

Online/virtual check in check out was a terrible experience. The process was slow and I was recommended to use the unsecured free wifi and then my personal information is vulnerable. I do not like that I have to give access to my camera and location data. At checkout the app was unbearable while I waited for my photos to upload. The reliance on technology and making the customer work through it is a poor business decision by corporate executives. I will never use this location again and will likely not use U-Haul as long as I can find anyone else to rent from

We accomplished our objective of renting a vehicle but found the experience cold and impersonal. Upon entering the building a virtual announcement alerts a virtual attendant who told us to use the app. The checkout process was time consuming with slow upload speeds and no personal service. During this process an employee walked out of the bathroom, seemed to go out of her way to avoid eye contact and immediately went into the employees only office. The return experience was the same, time consuming and impersonal. The virtual rental process has gone from convenient to cold and impersonal. Will try somewhere else next time.

Midgard Storage is a good place to pickup or dropoff the truck. Be aware of their closing hours/day just in case you need someone to help. In addition, cell reception in Viera is sketchy so it may take more time to do a mobile check in or check out.

Location was "open". Personnel was "virtual". Not helpful. Had to call the Uhaul number for assistance. Then complete the drop-off myself to submit. There were problems with the air conditioner in the truck and it seemed like no one cared.

Tracy, the location manager, and Pete, an employee were very pleasant and helpful....on multiple occasions. Tracy even backed the 26' truck into it's parking space for me when I returned, and checked it in, allowing me to leave very quickly.

Returning the truck was very difficult. Everything went smooth with the exception of dropping the key in the drop box. I spent almost an hour trying to get the cell phone app to work to drop the key in the drop box. I could not get the cell phone app to work. Why can I not just drop the key in the drop box!
