The young lady at the storage facility was an excellent representative of your company. I had had a less than pleasant experience dealing with your corporate central phone bank. The second lady I spoke with on the corporate line (when making my reservation) was very helpful and exceedingly professional. The first guy with whom I spoke was rude and condescending. Two traits that, I'm quite sure, are not fostered by U-haul. I'm hopeful that someone will listen to the initial phone conversation that I had with the young man and set him straight. I've been awaiting a phone call regarding that interaction with your employee.DANIEL J F.

The truck we were supposed to have for 24 hours had broken down, closest 26 foot truck was 35 miles away. While I commend the location staff for looking for a solution, I was the one that asked about trucks sitting on the lot. A 26 foot was already scheduled to go to North Carolina but a 15 foot was there and not scheduled until late that afternoon(5:30). I asked about it since I had no other solution, and finally was allowed to rent it. I got it back barely before 5:30 for next customer. Asked if I could get money took off bill for inconvenience was told nothing they could do? I took a much smaller truck, did not get to move all items needed to move and returned truck in time for next costumer. I think I went way above and beyond but nothing not even a thank you. Though everything was satisfactory, clean, and successful I feel the need to address that the sound of the trailer was terrifying. I had a lack of experience with the â€œspin topâ€ securing method, the pickup representative did not give a very good briefing on the topic, and though I had no issues, it sounded as if the trailer (especially when empty) was going to bounce off and cause a crash. I couldn't even go 25 mph in Janesville without hearing some nerve racking sounds from the trailer. Again nothing happened but for the next person who doesn't get a better tutorial on the â€œspin topâ€ latch method, it's an accident waiting to happen.AUSTIN W.
I felt welcome. The parking lot and building were clean and maintained. The aneirking there was professional and made the experience stress free and quick. The vehicle was clean and in good condition. I was asked if I needed boxes or any of the other items on display in the show room I will definitely go back to Midgaurd if I every need another rentalLydia G.

I requested a furniture dolly but was provided a utility dolly which was useless for my needs. Then discovered that the truck box leaked and my bed mattress was wet when we unloaded. There was no obvious damage to the truck box that would have alerted me to this beforehand.Cathy H.

Please re-check what UHaul recommends for car trailer towing. We rented a car trailer for a 1968 Ford LTD / Galaxie and while technically the car fit the trailer, it barely fit, rear tires had maybe 3 inches from not fitting the trailer. We tried to get a larger trailer and UHaul's computer system wouldn't allow it. We made it home, but that was the only frustration.James B.

Following the advice of the store clerk, i created an account on the uhaul mobile app. After creating the account, I was unable to see the order i had, moments earlier, completed in store. This particular reservation/order was for 24/7 pickup/drop off. It was very convoluted and frustrating trying to check out my truck in the middle of the night with an app that didn't seem to find my order. Finally, i signed out of the app and clicked a link i found in one of several emails i received from uhaul.com. This link finally took me to the correct location. I had the same experience at check-in, only because i didn't realize what i had done to fix the problem the first time around. The reservation had my email address, but the app was unable to find it when logged in with the same email address.Will W.
