Returned in Franklin, Wisconsin..personnel said they will NOT unhook the trailer. Had to do it all by myself. Very uhelpful.

First every person I dealt with was professional and nice. My complaint is with what happens to be a giant corporate failure. I rented a 15 ft. truck in Milwaukee to move my daughter from Chicago to Denver. I picked up the truck at an independent remote site. I had reserved three furniture dollys. The location had none. A phone call to corporate explained to me that these independent remote sites often don’t have anything other than the truck and I would need to go to a corporate center to get my dollys. WHY WAS THIS NOT MADE CLEAR TO ME WHEN I RESERVED THE TRUCK OVER A MONTH IN ADVANCE. I had contacted help in Chicago and didn’t have the hour plus time it would have taken to go get the dollys. DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH MORE DIFFICULT THIS MADE MY MOVE! U-Haul figure this out. One Star

Sirrya MThey couldn’t find the key to the U-Haul and employee didn’t know the code for the Dropbox(where the key was) so clearly no one had looked over the truck. There was a nasty oil/grease all over the bed of the truck which we noticed after putting furniture down, so now some of the wood legs are ruined. They also didn’t have any of the moving pads we had ordered and didn’t tell us until we arrived. So we wasted our time having to go buy some.

sanjay kThe truck was parked in a muddy area in the back of the gas station next to broken cement and used tires. Its right front tire was visibly flattened. Upon checking it, the tire was rated for 110 psi and was only at 60 psi. I had to reinflate the tire on my own using my own equipment. The truck was also dented on its passenger side fender and had mud splashes all around. The back of the truck at mud, dirt, wood, screws, and styrofoam pieces that I had to clean out. The cab was dirty and littered with crumbs. It also had a previous renter’s papers and boxes in it under and behind the seat.

Joseph RIt always takes so long with paperwork even if complete on line before. It also helps when business that holds truck had more than one employee working especially when pickup business is a gas station. Took way too long between the agent helping gas customers.
