The owner/proprieter is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The pickup procedure was fast and easy (I made the reservation online). This is my 4th uhaul rental through Midway Grocery). He always double checks with uhaul and insures the rental is, in fact, delivered to Midway and not somewhere in Christiansburg or even Lynchburg (which has apparently happend several times in the past). So, he is conscientious. Highly recommend this location.

Actually nothing. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and attentive even while handling store customers. When I returned it, he was still working and greeted me and handled everything for the return. Picking the toy hauler up was over an hour round trip for the return too. But well worth it. it was perfect size for what I needed it for. And it was a great built, easy to use trailer. A friend of mine was asking about it and I was telling him U-haul always has special built trailers that are super easy to use and very strong. built for people who dont use trailers every day and may be a little uncomfortable with them at first. Rest assured, U-haul trailers are super safe and easy to use. pull like a dream.

John DI have done the self check-in using the mobile app every time I have returned equipment to this location, so do not have experience with personnel to report. Space for returns at this location is somewhat limited at times, but the location is much handier than alternatives, which would require at least a 30 minute drive.

Donald MI was supposed to pick up my truck at a different location near where I was staying, but instead I was directed to a location that was over 45 minutes out of the way. In addition, I reserved a 15-foot truck, yet the only truck available at the alternate location was a 26-foot truck. I had a confirmed reservation, but your company was unable to honor or hold it as agreed. This caused a great deal of inconvenience and frustration, and I am very disappointed with the experience. Please learn how to properly hold reservations, or do away with the reservation system altogether. Anyone can make a reservation — the difficult part seems to be actually honoring it. I would appreciate a response regarding this issue and any steps you plan to take to prevent this from happening to other customers. Sincerely,

Jay JThe location said it was open 8am to 8pm but got there before 5pm and it was not open. looking in the door it seemed clean and nice but no one to help. Then tried to use the app to return the truck and it would start but could not open the return - kept failing -- tried 4 times and gave up, Probably because place is surrounded by mountains. but after first try with app that did not work think your app needs alot of work. finally had to call UHaul to notify that I returned and app would not work. Then had to call to get the Dolly removed from Bill because i never took one. and then had to call back to get the non returned equipment charge removed and refunded. AS a NOTE. I had a rental about a year and a half ago and had a 2 hour wait to pickup due to your system being down then as well. thankfully the return went fine that time. Was not happy with return this time as it was 10 degrees out and having to deal with all this.

DEREK JOlder model trailer. Signs of rust and deterioration of minor metal parts. Trailer hitch coupler needs to be updated. Otherwise it did it's job. Tracked well.

BLAINE LThe trailer brakes squeezed so loud under light breaking I got to my location 4 hours away after buying the car and seemed the brakes were to questionable to use the trailer and potentially wreck do to trailer brake failure. I should not have to pay but I did. I still have to go pick the car up I bought.

JOSEPH HAfter making the reservation and agreeing in the drop off location, Uhaul representatives attempted to change the drop off to a location an hour away. When I informed them that I was unable to take it to that location, they would not accept my answer. They went as far as to say that I agreed to the different drop off location wjen I had been clear that it would not work. I hinformed three different people that I would be dropping the truck off at the same location as pick up and still received a call asking why I had not returned the truck. This was extremely poor customer service. Uhaul needs to improve their communication both internally and externally.
Gregory CFill gas tanks with gas and have each customer to leave tank full of gas. You should not have to stop right when you pick up truck and fill with gas because of low fuel. That is the only fair way to do this and that way someone doesn't get stuck leaving lots more gas in truck than necessary. I never had that problem when I used Penske .
Tommy CBiggest issue with this site is that it is a gas station. I would reasonably expect to be able to fillup the vehicle using the gas pumps at this return location. The pumps were out of service or they were out of gas, I'm not sure which. I'm stuck with making an approximate 20 mile round trip for gas and losing more time from my job or paying the U-Haul rate for it to filled up later.

Terri PEven though the young didn't have any training in checking me out and my reservation wasn’t ready and it took over an hour to finish she was very sweet. She was so upset she never have done a U-Haul check out and was worried I was getting upset, which I didn’t. U-Haul should have trained her and they owe me the hour I lost moving .
