My battery was completely dead.they jumped me off in junction city, and sent me on my way. I had to buy a jumper box on the road because everytime i turned off the truck, I'd need a jump. Also, I waited for over an hour after my scheduled time until I was seen.Levi L.

Before leaving lot, I checked over the entire trailer and found the brake assist reservoir was empty with no fluid. Employee did fill at location and then once I arrived at my spot of use I found the fluid had all leaked out within a distance of Junction City Kansas to Manhattan Kansas. I called to report the problem to the store and was told that I would be replayed the amount of my out of pocket brake fluid, knowing that it would be an after store hours return. I returned as scheduled and called today 4 Aug 2022, and am now being told since the order was finalized there would be no repayment of use.Joshua J.

The whole Uhaul process was a nightmare! Customer service Reps when you call to ask questions are RUDE! You get emails and text messages but nothing is up to date and it changed throughout! The computer system crashed multiple times while we are at store! Employees did their Best Buy it was less then acceptable!Doreen C.
Not enough staff and some of the staff avoid helping U-Haul customers. One young man was very helpful, but he did not follow my instructions to set my drop off location for any location. Instead he asked for my address and set up a drop off point close to the address that I gave. I went to a location closest to my storage unit and nearest gas station. Had the u haul drop off rental place I chose not been as helpful as it was I would have been late turning in my equipment. People need to honor the customers request, instead of doing what they want to do. Also, the equipment needed updating. I had to have my tow dolly replaced on the trip. I could have lost my car and caused an accident in the process.Sandra R.

Too many mistakes were made with too many corrections causing too much stress for already stressed Army PCSers getting ready to road trip to Seattle from Kansas in order to fly to Korea with wife, 2 kids, and 2 Huskies.Allan H.
Be honest about the daily rate that will be incurred. I thought it was a flat fee for blankets; not a daily rate. Even though we returned it prior to the cut-off time, we were charged an extra day. Overall, I would never recommend U-Haul for local moving.Grace K.

I originally had a 26' U-haul reserved weeks in advance and the day before I get a call saying my truck is no longer available, but they find me a 10' truck. I pick up the 10' and there are TWO 26' trucks tthere. This made my move take the entire 4th of July weekend to finish because I only had the truck for 24 hours. I am very displeased with how U-haul handled my reservation and simply "gave my truck away" or did not inform me more ahead of time of the change.Erik T.

Ensure all requested equipment is at the requested location. Having to pick up the trailer from a different location was an inconvenience. I would recommend that the store staff pick up equipment to alleviate the hassle for the customer.Percell H.
I found it a little difficult to see the difference in mesauring fuel (REFUEL). IT IS BETTER THAT ALL U HAUL TRUCKS BE TOPPRD-OFF BEFORE GOING OUT. THANKS HAVE A GREAT DAYVINCENT S.

We waited for an hour for a scheduled pickup at 10:00am on Sunday. It would have been helpful if more than one person was able to help out. Five people were waiting in line as the doors opened. Service was friendly and helpful when they waited on us, but we were not expecting the hour wait.Michelle K.

I now realize that trying to reserve equipment in advance allows higher levels within the U-Haul organization to change my request to another location and time. I was able to work with local dealers to allow my rental to take place as I desired. The local U-Haul dealers did an EXCELLANT job !!!randy S.

There wasn't a place to report that the wheel for the vehicle had to be turned 45Â° to the left in order to drive straight and no one asked how the vehicle drove so I forgot to say. But overall it was good. Other than the guy saying at first that the extra mileage fee was going to be $4000 due to an error he made when entering the mileage. It was $16.Dylan A.

There was nothing wrong with the location other than it was 1.5 hours out of my way. I asked for a 10 foot truck and got a 15 foot truck. I am not sure why I told UHaul what I wanted and where I wanted to pick it up if they were going to do whatever they wanted.Trish B.

Picked up a 26' truck and tow dolly. The dolly had an issue so I called to have it replaced and then the next day a U-Haul rep called me back and said there was no issue and that the tech said there was no issue even though the tech told me there was an issue. Then was told I was lieing. The Kansas GM Tracey called me back offering a $50 refund and extended my rental a day and was really cool about the whole thing. Went to turn in my rental and found out he only extended the rental on the dolly, not the entire package like he said. My drop off uhual site said it wasn't there problem and to figure it out my self then charged me $120 for a late fee. What amazing customer service!TRISTON G.

Truck sticker on dashboard said do NOT use gasoline with 10% ethanol added. That wasn't a problem, but it would be nice if the truck came with a list of nearby gas stations that had such gasoline. I already knew that the 24/7 station on I-70 in Abilene at exit 275 had non-ethanol, so no sweat. Others may not know about that. The "miles to empty" readout was very helpful.RONALD R.

Our truck had a laundry list of known issues that were not provided to us. It did not have heat or air nor did the blower fan work, the door rattled so bad it sounded like it going to fall off and we hear loud pops whenever we turned on the engine. It also never filled up all the way and driving 68 miles went through HALF A TANK OF GAS! I did go over these issues with one of the owners and was given a partial credit back to cover most of my gas expenses but I honestly feel like my total cost should have been returned since this truck needs to be taken out of the fleet.
