PAUL FAt both stores, both older gentleman were pleasant. I wish I could’ve caught their names. Pick up and drop off locations, certain you can look back and see who executed the transactions.. What kills me both of these gentleman were well into their 70’s I’d say, using technology, customer friendly, walking around the lot and directing customer traffic and transactions. Corporate should recognize these fine patriots that keeps “Ace the place”! It scares me to thing when we loose these old warriors then what’s our path, cause the young don’t want any part of manual labor for 10-12$ an hr. Better love the ones you have!!!! Great job fellas!! They were nice, helpful and truly knows what good customer service is. I am new to this part of Kansas and will only rent from this location after the interactions I had with each gentleman. I have been a long time customer of U-Haul and this is one of the best rental experiences I have had.
ALLISON ACldnt get a U-haul account set up to ck in. The website kept saying: There is an error on our end (UHauls) Please try back in a few minutes. I tried 4 different times and then just gave up. Didnt really need the site for the one day local move. I have since chatted with others that have had the same issue...Thanks

ROBERT SYou can't go wrong renting from this location. I wish i wrote down names, but the guy that checked the trailer out to me was very nice and knew everything about renting equipment and very friendly. When i returned, I told the gentleman that i wasn't that great at backing up a trailer and i asked if he wouldn't mind backing my truck with trailer up and he was fine with it, I am not sure every location would do that, but it was nice seeing such talent and made the whole experience less stressful. Kudos to the entire team.

STUART WTruck dirty. Cracked windshield, sun visor broke made it extremely hard when sun visor is hanging down. Flies in the truck. Mud everywhere. Uhaul location told me to.sweep out the truck when the employees didn't even clean it prior to my reservation.

ROBERT GThis company needs to bring back the military/veteran move programs. I feel as though I was over charged greatly for use of the trailer and the fact I was required to pay for 5 days when I only needed it for 3 is, lack of better words, absolutely bullshit. I hope I don’t need another uhaul anything anytime soon.

STEPHAN VThe location was great. Uhaul over all, is not. Rented the 2-wheel car dolly, had it for maybe 4 hours. Turned back in with 20 hours remaining. App was down and got charged. Then the local store could only do a partial refund.

Julie CI was very disappointed in UHaul. I had reservations at a location where I was moving. The day before the move UHaul was trying to change the type of trailer I reserved. I made my reservation early enough this should have not been an issue. I had to travel 25 miles out of my way to pick up this UHaul. I did not get the size of vehicle I rented. The lady at the counter changed my drop off to open ended meaning I could drop it off at the nearest UHaul location to me. In my travels UHaul texted me telling me where to drop it off, which I did but I had to travel another 25 miles longer to drop it off. I am very disappointed in the move and I will think twice before using UHaul again.

jovanni pI am pleased with the Caroline Ave location, where I have rented trucks in the past. What was frustrating was that there was an e-alert placed on my account, and they could not rent it to me until I called U-Haul to figure out why my account was blocked. Due to a system error, my account was blocked, and the representative spent at least 15 minutes figuring it out before my account was fully unblocked and back to normal. This is TOTALLY unprofessional, and U-Haul should not penalize people who take care of your vehicles, rent them, and bring them back unharmed. It was embarrassing to stand at the Ace Hardware store for over an hour to get this situation resolved, which was in no way my fault as a customer, and finally get the truck to get on with my extremely important day. I was LATE picking up my son from college as a result of U-Haul, and I am upset that this happened. If this is how you treat your customers, I WILL NOT EVER rent from U-Haul again! You should be ashamed of yourselves!

Phillip RFirst of all U-Haul needs to stop the “ Bait & Switch tactic that they do. This $19.95 a day is a joke. You actually get charged double that and even though I replaced the fuel. I was charged for 2 more gallons. Another $7.12 place my receipt shows 19.95 a day and the “actual” charge of $48.38. Pluse I was charged another $13.43 for the 15 miles round trip that I traveled. Which is fine! I expected to be charged for my mileage. I’m just very upset that I was charged double for the day rate when I returned the unit back in less than the 24 hours I was aloted!
