When a customer reserves a vehicle at least 10 days out, U-Haul needs to make sure that specific vehicle is at that location come rental time. Not a different vehicle. I had reserved a 10ft truck for my move and got a call the day before I was to pick it up saying it wasn’t available at the location. The associate told me there was a bigger vehicle at a different location. I asked her if I’d then be reimbursed for the mileage going to a further location. She proceeded to tell me no and then said I was lucky she was able to find another vehicle at all. Apparently this is a busy time in Chattanooga. Hence why I reserved my truck early. Because I didn’t have time to go looking for another truck, I was given a 15ft truck instead of my 10ft rental. Much more than I needed. I agreed to it. On the day I was to pick up my truck, I discovered that I not only didn’t get the 10ft truck or now even the 15ft truck but a 20 ft truck!! This made things much more difficult due to the places I was picking up and dropping off the items to be moved. In my opinion when someone orders a certain vehicle that vehicle needs to be made available for them at the location they requested it from. I didn’t need the hassle and I won’t be using U-Haul in the future as this is the 2nd screw up through U-Haul in a 45 day period.
DAVID LReally old, dirty looking location. They have many old rusting storage units that are not clean, and several U-Haul trucks parked in narrow openings between the rows of storage units. You have to drive over a hill on a poorly maintained and bumpy roadway alongside multiple rows of storage units in order to get to their U-Haul trailer lot in the very back. While the person who checked me in and handled my return was professional and courteous, I will never use this location again for any U-Haul rentals or returns. It just feels old, is poorly maintained, and not particularly safe.

I’m glad my rental was a one-way and that I didn’t have to return it to this location after hours, because I have no idea where I’d put the trailer if there were other returns already on site.

Ranjith KThis place was tight, narrow, to maneuver around. Potholes and bumps to drive back to the lot to drop off the trailer. If I hadn't received instructions from the attendant, it was not very intuitive to know where to go. I left the moving blankets in the back of the trailer. The gentleman that checked in the trailer was very courteous and professional.
Joseph EThe shocks on the van were not in good shape. I expect a truck ride to be bumpy but this was far beyond that. Made for a very uncomfortable ride.

Daren TI had an excellent experience with this U‑Haul location. The pickup process for my 10' truck was quick and efficient, and the gentleman at the counter was friendly and easy to work with. When I returned the truck after hours, the drop‑off was simple and straightforward — just park and drop the key. The whole rental was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend this location.
Matthew HThis was the first time in my life that I used the App to schedule and pick up a rental truck...It was super easy. I will say that the app had issues with attaching pics of the truck at time of pick up, but at delivery no such issues. I will definitley use this service and U-Haul in the future. Great location for me too. Key was in the correct box. Truck was clean...gas was not full when I picked it up, but I did put gas back in to a level more than it was when I picked it up. I only used it for a few hours and 20 miles total. But still, it was a very good experience. Thank you.

EULA EIt was closed at 10 am when I dropped it off. Had to figure how to unconnected it and drop. That’s all. Not a big deal but feedback nonetheless the less. I preferred to drop it in Cleveland TN.
MARK MPicking up was extremely easy. The guy there was very friendly. Showed me everything I needed to know. Explained the return process, which was just as easy. Great experience and friendly customer service. I will definitely use them again if the need arises.
