Ensure that the hours of operation are observed where there could be a situation where a time constraint may exist on the return of a vehicle in support of a subsequent rental. This would allow renters that maximum time of their rentals.Carl F.
There is no parking available for renters. As such, I need to ask for a ride to pick up the truck and a ride to return the truck. If parking is available would make it easier. I believe the truck is a US model with Miles on the speedometer and Kilometer on the milage count meter. It is confusing. The gasoline was not filled up to the top while I check out the truck, and they expect me to refill the truck to the same level as before when I return the truck. If not, they will charge me for the labor to refill the truck ($15). It took me three trials to come up to just above the level that I took the truck. This is very inconvenient and I have to fill it in a bit more than needed.ALANK C.

We had a great first experience using Uhaul for our move. Pick up was smooth and quick, but thorough. We were still able to use this pick up location (which was closest for us and allowed for the least number of km) on a Sunday even though they were closed, using the 24/7service. Our contacts were called and we were on the move. The truck was clean and in good shape and the dolly was very handy. Overall, a great experience. We would use Uhaul and this pick up location again.Michael M.

The van was dirty and we had to clean off all the windows for better vision. The tank was 1/4 full and we were told to bring it back with the same amount of fuel! Obviously that is not a reasonable request. We brought is back with more fuel in it than we received it. A full tank at the time of pick up would be customer friendly.IRWINN A.
The parking lot was a bit of a mess and it can really only accommodate drop-offs (no parking), but the manager did inform me of this prior to arriving. The cargo van I rented was in decent condition and the mobile check-in was smooth. Other than the limited space, it was a good experience renting from here.Kathleen L.

On October 8, 2020, I ordered a 15' truck. I was unable to book a pick-up location that was close to me. I ended up calling Migson Storage myself. They said they have U-Haul trucks to rent. I called the 800 number back and gave them the address of Migson and they booked my rental for Sunday Oct. 11. On Oct. 9, I called Migson to confirm my 15' truck for pick-up Sunday the 11. I was told that they would not be opened on Sunday, so I needed to pick up the truck on Saturday before 4pm. At 3:30 on Saturday I picked up the keys to the truck. In the lot were two trucks one large truck and a smaller one. I tried to open the large truck and found the keys didn't work but they did work for the smaller truck. I went back to the office to said I wanted the 15' truck but they had already locked the door to the office at 3:40. I had to take the smaller truck. After returning home I measured the truck and found it was only 12'. U-Haul advertises the 15' truck as being inside 15' long X 7'8â€ wide X 7'2â€ high. This meant I needed to make three trips to move my furniture instead of two. I called the 800 number to complain and was told the 2'6â€ area over the cab of the truck is included in the 15' but it is only 2'7â€ high. I can't put much furniture in there. One deception to look out for. If you need a 15' truck you need to order a 20' truck. The second deception to look out for. The fuel gauge, my truck was just on the side of 3/8 tank of gas. I drove 41/2 miles home and it was already at 1/4 tank. I put $45.00 of gas which brought it to 3/4 tank. When I returned the truck, it was 5/8 tank. I was told I would be charged 1.39 per liter if under the 3/8 tank but later found that they don't refund any amount for gas over the 3/8 tank. I called the 800-468-4285 number to complain about my charges and was to call 800-789-3638 to make a complaint. I called and was on hold for 10 minutes and disconnected. I called back, this time on hold for almost 15 minutes and disconnected. I'm now taking my time to warn everyone of their unprofessional, misleading and dishonest service. I will never rent from U-Haul again. I am now telling everyone. I hope you never go through this type of treatment with your rental. Maybe you should rent from another company.JOHNF S.

On Monday November 2, 2020 i ordered a cargo. The online site didn't even show the nearest location that I desired. I ended up having to wait on hold for over 30 min to speak to a call centre agent. The agent found the Sarnia rd location (London On) that i was looking for. However it showed her that it was closed although I was standing with the representative inside the uhaul office. I picked it up at 5:34pm and returned it at 7:03pm on the same day, so less than 2 hours later. Upon returning the cargo to my biggest surprise I found out that I was charged for coverage $15 and $20 convenience fee of $20 that were not explained or mentioned at booking time. I'm requesting a full refund for this very unprofessional and misleading service. Information needs not to be hidden from customers this is dishonest. When we were returning the rental van. We needed to create an account and follow some steps. However when we logged in, our position was not showing. We called for assistance since the office was already closed. The agent told us to use put the key in the box and that Someone would take care of it in the morning. I requested to pick up the truck from Commissioners Road branch which is 3 km away from my house, they send me to Sarnia Road branch which is 11 km away from my branch, I spend 22 Km to pick up the truck and to return it. Problem is with the "App" for self-return, after-hours. Need to allow photos from phone library to be uploaded - I had taken all of the photos (keeping copies for myself), locked the vehicle and dropped the key, then sitting in my non-rental vehicle, attempted to perform the self-return, only to find the only option is to take a photo in real-time. I originally chose to pick up the truck electronically, but I am SO glad there was an attendant present to help me. She (I think her name was Linda?) was incredibly helpful and kind. If she wasn't there and I just had to pick it up by phone, I would be very confused. Turns out I'm not as good with technology as I originally thought, despite being in my 20s!
