The uHaul experience is becoming a pain. We have three dealers within a 5 minute walk of our house, and our rental gets switched to a different location at the last minute. Will look for another source next time.

Hire better customer service rep. Barbara at the reception, not only yelled at customers, but also cannot handle any pressure. Customers in line were very patient and accommodating that she on her own assisting but still had the attitude to: 1. Say “You all just had to come in all at once”. A sarcastic comment which customers in line just ignored. 2. While we were waiting in line, just minding our own business discussing other things with our phones, she assumes that we were doing online check in. And yells out “if you guys are doing online check-in, it doesn’t work”. We told her that we weren’t and that it is a completely different business, she still insisted INSTEAD OF APOLOGIZING for meddling and assuming, and said “Well, just in case. The online check in doesn’t work”. At this point, we just have no idea why she’s reflecting her frustration towards us who weren’t even pressuring her to speed up and just minding her own business even after having waited in line for 30 minutes already. Please be mindful that we were 4th in line. 3. When it was finally our turn, she asked for the name of the reservation. I gave her my last name as I thought that being the one to book it online with my card, it would’ve been under mine. She says there’s nothing on that name. And that we weren’t gonna get a vehicle. Now, I offered the order number we received from the reservation. From there, she found the booking and said with ALL rudeness and eye rolling, “well that’s why. It’s under a different name (drivers name)”. Then I said “oh I didn’t know. I figured it’s gonna be mine because I booked it”. “Well it isn’t”. At this point, we were just upset of how she was treating us. My companion- the driver finally told her to just tone it down. As she was yelling at us for no reason, with the single excuse of being alone to serve the customers. Then she sarcastically apologizes saying that she’s alone and that she apologizes. None of the customers were pressuring her at all. Check your cameras and audio if needed. Ask for witnesses if you need proof. Everybody was patiently waiting and was just letting her get through the line and her job as quick as she can. All the customers just wanted to get their vehicle, and get going. And unfortunately, it meant having to deal with her - BARBARA. We will never be booking here ever again. And more likely to book from a different company altogether. I am floored with the amount of disrespect we received. Please note that this occurred on October 6, 2019 between 9:30am to 10:15am. Nobody deserves to be treated the way we have. This was extremely frustrating and upsetting for us. If you don’t wanna get any further stress, book elsewhere.

I loved the service I got at this location. The representative at the front desk was very sweet. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. Unfortunately I did not catch her name, but she told us she had been working there for 10+ years. Very quick and timely to get the vehicle which was great since I only needed it to handle an errand for about 2 hours. The only unpleasant thing about this location is that is it fairly hard to park. Needed to get help to park when we were done. Traffic is very busy on Gerrard... but manageable.

We were shocked to find we were billed almost double for the exact rental on tbursday that we took out on Wednesday! How can you justify 86.60 , then a jump to 166.05 the next day? Both days we put on less than 20 km. And both days cleaned the truck And returned before closing. So I am shocked and disappointed.

The truck came with only 1/8 tank of gas. No one should ever have to fill up before leaving the yard. I’d recommend you require all trucks to leave and be returned with a full tank of gas as this would be far easier and more professional.

I requested dolly and I finalized my order. When I wanted to pick up my van, they said we don’t have a dolly available. Also, the van was not clean and very smelly.

I reserved moving blankets and the lady informed me when I showed up that they never have moving blankets. Suggested going to another location for them. The lady did not have a drivers license, so I had to jockey trucks around the get my reserved 26ft truck accessible.
