The location at Fort Stewart has not been helpful. Unexpected change of hours and lack of equipment available at this site even though site being managed by same team located off post about 3 miles away. Very inconvenient to have to rearrange plans when reserving equipment at one location only to find out this has changed on day of pick up.

When I first had the storage it was good. Then without notifying me the plastic ceiling over my storage came away and water , dirt and some debris went everywhere. Then there were other water issues . They left a huge ladder outside my door so I could taccess my locker i had it for over 2 years and spent alot of money. I had to throw things away because of mold and water damage I discovered after I moved out

During my 2-3 year rental stay, I was impressed with the quality of of professional service, friendliness and knowledge of the staff as a whole. Whenever there where problems with my bank bill pay I am totally amazed with how Ashley demonstrated her ability to workout the issue and get problem solved in a timely manner without any unnecessary additional cost to me.

Ensure all the equipment is present when picking up the vehicle. I had a big move and needed a dolly. The location did not have any. Why couldn't that location resource out to others in the area for assistance.

At first glance the tow dolly looked fine. After driving 2 hours to get to the vehicle I was towing, we noticed that a previous user had damaged one of the wheel straps. There were no other locations open that could assist with a repair or replacement. We were able to get the straps to work safely, but the trailer shouldn't have been rented out in the first place. Service at the location was excellent though, quick and timely with a smooth turn in process.

What really made me mad was the bad manners that the worker had I was sitting out In the cold she came out to check the trucks in I guess did not speak and she was right in front of just a node would have been sufficient for me and I reserve my truck a week ahead of time with a furniture dolly but when I got there, there was not a dolly at all for me to move my furniture

The two employees who were there when we got the trailer were very unprofessional. The woman was helpful at first but when we went to hook up the trailer and the man was there they were rude together. He was smoking a cigarette while we were there. My partner had to put our hitch on and in a rush did it incorrectly. The two employees then laughed and made fun of us the rest of the interaction. When my partner asked if they were ready for her to back up the truck, he rudely said “waiting on you” Overall it was a very negative interaction. The woman we dropped off the trailer with afterwards was professional.

This place is a joke. I booked a dolly, because I'm MOVING and when I get there the young man said he didn't have any and didn't even apologize. Not only that he did not walk us out to the truck or anything. This place is a crap show and it needs to be shut down. The young men working don't care about anything. Do not waste ur time coming here. There's plenty of other uhaul places in hinesville. On a scale of 1-10, this place gets a 0.

Uhaul has most of the parking lot of an old shopping center. It's very convenient. However, I rented a dual axle trailer (largest available) and it comes without a jack. This thing is HEAVY. I can't lift it to put it on the ball of my hitch. I was totally shocked that Uhaul would have this setup since they have the "car carrier", basically the same frame but it has a jack.

I love the customer service at this location and the patience the only problem I had was the van was NOT CLEAN it had dog hair everywhere the ONLY REASON I DIDN’T COMPLAIN WAS BECAUSE OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I GOT NOTHING TOPPED THAT AND YES I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN!!

Employee didn’t seem to see the need to walk through and inspect the initial cargo van that was being rented to me so therefore he rented me a van that was very unkept and out right dirty initially , also the door handle was missing but he stated he had done an inspection prior to my arrival which once I was unable to enter the van due to the missing handle That let me know that there was no inspection done because he was not aware of the damage to the vehicle… Another customer just so happened to be turning in another cargo van , thank goodness the person who returned it kept it clean and tidy if not for the return of the other van I’m not sure if I would’ve been able to Make my trip

The locations were OK. The overall experience was horrible. First, the truck that I had rented a week prior, was not going to be available for 7/20/24, no contact from UHaul. I thought to check on 7/19 and then found out the truck was not available. Spoke to customer service and they set me up with a truck at a different location about 30 miles from my original location. Found out on the morning of 7/20 that this new location was closed on 7/20. After hours on the phone, getting transferred multiples and having to call back multiple times due to be hung up on or disconnected, I was given the number of a regional manager, Jacob something. He was very helpful and got us a truck 45 miles away. To top things off, UHaul then wanted to charge me $29 for being over on mileage. Will likely never us UHaul again and will not recommend you.

When picking up our rental employees had to come unlock the building because we were their last pickup of the day and they wanted to go home early. They behaved very unprofessionally, yelling (playfully) back and forth about the keys to our rental. Not to mention, they seemed bothered to even be working. The worst part of this experience was that the truck was filthy, but we only needed it to move some furniture last minute, and when we arrived early for our drop off, it seems they went home by or before 4pm. Their posted time is 4:30 pm on the building and 5pm online. When returning, I like to return to an employee to verify my return. Another customer showed up to go inside the building, and they seemed surprised that no one was inside before closing time. I am very disappointed with this location of Uhaul and will not be renting here again.

This was and is the cleanest storage facility I’ve stored my belongings in. Never had an issue with entrance or finding dumpsters. Well lite and bright lighting throughput the facility so you can actually see where your going. This facility makes sure it’s customers have easy access to their unit and has large dollie’s available for easy transport of your belongings. Staff here are always polite and available.
