I would notate on the site/app that this is an unmanned location for U-Haul pick ups and remote pick up is the only option.

The overall service was great, but I received a call from someone who spoke to me in a very disrespectful and rude manner. He even hung up on me during the conversation. He was upset because I was supposed to return the truck on Wednesday, April 30th, but I had clearly informed the lady at the rental location that I wouldn’t be able to return it until May 3rd, as I didn’t have access to my rental property until then. I extended my U-Haul rental for that reason, and the man was extremely rude, telling me the truck was already booked for someone else. I remained polite throughout the conversation, but he did not show me the same respect. This is not the first time I’ve rented a truck from U-Haul, and I’ve never had an experience like this before. Unfortunately, I can’t remember his name, but the number he called from was +1 (303) 922-8914. His customer service was unacceptable. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The app and online check in process are really bad. The most up to date version of the app kept breaking so I had to go to the website. Was really dissatisfied to see all of the check materials online when I was picking up the truck instead of when I first made the reservation, it was around 15 degrees when checking in and I had to take off my gloves and I lost feeling in my fingers and sit in the cold for a while when I could have just done all these things when I first made the reservation. Even the link to this survey didn't work from my email, had to modify it to land here.

Remote, unmanned location experience awful. Suggest you enhance your reservation process so that customers are better prepared in the process to check in more efficiently when you arrive and there is absolutely positively not a living, breathing person to assist you.

We picked up a truck at 11pm in a snow storm and the wipers were non functional. The windshield was covered in a layer of snow and the truck was parked in a location that was very difficult to get out. Some kind of reimbursement would have been nice but instead I got to wait an hour of my paid for time with the truck for a repair person to come and look at it and he still didn’t fully fix the wiper problem. Probably the worst experience I’ve had with U-Haul.

This operator made a mistake on billing as I had turned in the rig on the 14 but paperwork showed 18 costing me $60. When I brought this up on call to u-haul the charge was reversed. Assume it was just a mistake.

Ensure customer is told process/proceedure required to verify identity prior to driving 100+ miles from home to pickup vehicle without required documents. Telephone support completely unhelpful. Worst experience ever. Will never use/reccomend U-Haul to anyone.

Once I was able to call the U-Haul 24/7 hotline I spoke to a customer service representative who helped me check out my vehicle however the process took at least 45 minutes, not because the customer service rep wasn't helpful, but nowhere on the Millenium Towing property does it indicate that you have to use the U-haul app or that you have to remotely check in. There just wasn't any support at this location to make check in/check out easy. It would be nice if there was an informative voicemail or poster on the location to guide guests on how to use the online check-in system.

It was a shitshow. First customer rep excellent helping me set it up because it showed I could not return same day to same place. She was excellent. No one was at the location and your chat feature dropped 4 times. Called 2nd rep who was freaking clueless

Millennium towing saves this move. They were excellent to work with and were very helpful. Solace movers however is a scam and if needing emergency help, Uhaul will upsell you moving help in the area and not back anything up. U-Haul is complicit in this company being advertised on their moving help sight and should not be trusted to book quality movers in your area.

We were charged for two trolleys, and we never received them, so we had to carry really heavy countertops and appliances instead. Truck we rented didn't want to start and a tank wasn't even half full.

I had to go find someone to receive the trailer in. He told me I was good to go and could leave and all the check would be completed. I had an unsettling feeling with that and went back the next day took pics showing no damage and returned. 2 weeks later I received a phone call asking where the trailer was at. Luckly I had taken the pictures and was able to do the check in over the phone and email. I will say this about Uhaul. I have rented all sorts of items from them and as time has gone on the equipment and customer support has gotten much better of the years.

The truck was old. Windshield wipers were terrible. Found a rotten banana that gave the truck a horrible smell. Took possession of the truck at 1/4 tank of fuel. When I returned it the tried to tell me it needed to be full.

The unit ran well. It was a little dirtier than what we have typically experienced. We also struggled with the app to get checked in. Took almost an hour before we were able to get on the road. Customer service helped us and we appreciated their efforts.

They were closed the day we returned truck and trailer. Took pics of everything and dropped keys in the box. They didn’t get it checked back into the system right away and had to call 800 number to make sure you were aware that it was returned on time.

Vehicle was well maintained and ran great for the trip, however, upon pick up the vehicle was very dirty in the inside including dog hair and dirt in the seats. I cleaned it out and wiped down the seats and insides of the windows as they were dirty as well. Vehicle also smelled of cigarettes.

The bigger issue was the mobile check in and return didn’t work. Other issue is the receipt said I drove nearly 13 times farther than I actually did. They guy on the phone was nice and helpful.

The reservation was made 3 weeks prior and the pick up was scheduled for the Silverthorne CO location. I called 3 days ahead of time and was told there was no equipment available. Fortunately customer service stepped in was helpful and found me one in Leadville CO. 45 minutes further away. No problem on the pick up however the trailer had 2 bald tires and I was driving 750 miles . No a safe practice.

first have the equipment that was reserved second don't charge more for a smaller truck and trailer combo than was agreed upon for original 26' truck. I was told the price would be same-it was not but what do you do when you have people waiting and took time off work to help. will shop elsewhere for next move and will tell to do same

The owner of this establishment called and yelled,threatened,and cussed at me for dropping my truck off in the wrong location. Threatened he was going to charge my card 800$ for it. Also, he accused me of not leaving the tow dolly with the truck, and I just received a bill with additional charges for “returning the truck 7 days late” which is absolutely fabricated. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS.

Apparatus need lubing up from being used high in the mountains. Pretty dry and crusty. One tire is balding and split. But it worked fine and we are pleased with the transaction. Thanks

When I arrived I had many problems trying to use the 24/7 Haul share. The mileage on the odometer was approximately 8,000 miles more than what was reflected on the Uhaul app. I had to spend about an hour with customer service just to get the truck. Same issue when i returned the vehicle. Also, I picked up the vehicle with a 1/2 tank of gas and returned it with a 1/2 tank of gas, but was charged approx. $41.00 for gas. So now I have to write an email, spend more time. i would not recommend this location as it appears they are not paying attention to the vehicle mileage or fuel load. The Uhaul corporate folks were nice, but I would not recommend using Uhaul in the future.

I was informed AT DROPOFF that the Leadville UHaul location has been closed, and I was expected to return the truck to a location 2 hours away. Not acceptable. I won't recommend UHaul.

Origional reservation dropoff was 15 minutes from my home. It no longer exists, (for 3 years) Had to drive 2 hours each way to different location. Stopped at Uhaul I saw before designated one. Guy there (owner) Rude, lazy, said he won't help unhook or get off his chair basically. Not professional. Owns 3 locations including our dropoff, yet wanted to charge $100 dollars to go into his computer to change location dropoff. REALLY !!! Will never recommend this guy to anyone.

When you get to the location there is no one there to assist you in hooking up the trailer or checking the equipment. We had to telephone number where he talked us through hooking up the trailer. Wanted us to take a trailer that had bad tires and probably would not have made it out of the city. Happen to have another 5x8 trailer with better tires, however the turn signal and back light did not work. Told us to go to different Uhaul center to get it fixed. They were wonderful and able to fix the light and turn signal, even though they were very busy and we did not pick up the trailer there.

First of all, we were told less than 24 hours that the truck we rented was not available at the location we originally planned for. We had to drive 80 miles out of the way to even get a truck to move the next day. THEN... When we got to the Lakewood location, the guys there informed us that the truck was never even dispatched. We were driving illegally and if we were to have gotten pulled over, we would’ve been arrested with a car theft charge. The Lakewood location could not even take our truck because it wasn’t dispatched. WHAT A FUCKING DISASTER. NEVER AGAIN UHAUL. UHAUL SUCKS!!!! Tell your friends. Tell your family. DO NOT USE UHAUL.
