Keleah COriginally scheduled a truck at a location I was familiar with, after waiting 10 min at this location I was told they did not have my truck that it was a different location. I was not told that it was at a self service location, I ended up checking every door before calling corporate who told me that I would have to be my own receptionist, and do all this extra work in order to get my truck. I purposely picked a location where I wouldn’t have to do extra work. I again called corporate about this issue, at this point it ws 1.5 hours off schedule. They found a location with a truck where I wouldn’t have to do a receptionist job(miracle movers did amazing) and was able to get my truck in less then 5 min. I will not be using uhaul, again

Gerry NI had to end up going to three (count them) THREE different uhaul locations before I was finally able to hit the road safely with my rental trailer. I had pre-ordered my trailer online and was supposed to pick it up at Aegis in Hartselle Alabama. When I arrived they had a sign on their door that said "Closed and wont return until December 26th. I was supposedly to pick my trailer up no later than 1:45 pm but I actually arrived early around 12ish. I called the number and nobody would answer. I had to get on the phone with UHAUL and they sent me to a Decatur location which is where I picked up the trailer. Once I arrived there was a girl there but she had one huge great dane looking dog on the inside along with another smaller dog that looked like it had the mange. The entire place stunk of animals and my allergies went hay way from the second I walked in. Once I paid for geh trailer I went to hook it up and she came outside to help. He hooked it up once I sat the trailer on my hitch. She hooked it up wrong as her photos will indicate. She never even got it tight onto my hitch. I had never hooked up a uhaul before so their hitch system was new to me. Also she didnt have an adapter that allowed the trailer lights to be installed. I have a 2022 GMC SIERRA and all she had was basically the wire without the hookup. I had to stop ar another UHAUL place on 6th avenue in Decatur Alabama and they re-hooked the uhaul trailer for me. The guy told me it was a good thing I stopped or else I would have lost the trailer because it wasnt attached properly. He fixed me up and then i had to go inside and buy an adapter to be able to attach the trailer lights properly. This is experience was the absolute worst experience a person could go through. I hate UHAUL now and will never use them again!!
