Uhaul has shown that they do not care about customer concerns. I have been ghosted by Uhaul representative, Mitchell Fields, for the past month without any consideration of concerns from customer’s perspective. Uhaul takes your money and can care less about how you are treated afterwards.

Employees live in 100 year old farm house on property? Hopefully they are getting paid well. Steering wheel was sticky = Did we forget about the pandemic? Metal separating cargo area in van was unsecured and rattled while driving.

Front desk was so kind and friendly and still kept everything so professional. I wish I could remember her name. The yard help, Tony, was very efficient and did his job as seemed very complete. My drop off was even faster. I definitely will recommend this location.

It’s a little sketchy at night but really close and convenient. It was after hours so no personnel were present but the form did not allow me to select not applicable. The drop box was easy to locate.

Center of homeless area on Hotel Circle. Pick up went fine during the day. At night when I went to drop off the truck I had to keep my eyes out since the homeless were roaming the street. Parked and locked the Uhaul truck while trying to pay attention to stay safe from the homeless and forgot to grab the keys from the ignition. Got the receipt and was charged a $100 "cleaning fee" when I called to get clarification since I made sure it was clean the lady told me it was because they had to break-in the Uhaul truck and the manager decided to tack on that charge. I asked to speak to the manager and she said he isn't there and she has been told not to give out his number or email. Called customer service got his Hotmail.com address. I emailed the manager asking for a refund for the service fee and have yet to get a response. The truck looked like it had drove through mud because there was caked up mud on the flaps and the fenders. Also the lock for the dolly was broken. Inform the customer about the insurance and the Safeway additionals and the differences. I thought with the insurance I would have been covered for being locked out. Also make the location feel safer maybe start having a police patrol the area so it doesn't feel like you will get robbed if your not paying attention.

Picked up after hours and lock would not open. Contacted support and was told to use a different code but it was for a different truck but had no directions as to which truck - had to hunt for the vehicle. Whole process took an hour. On returning I could not check out as the support team did not inform or note in the program that the truck changed. Will never do an after hours pick up again

I was charged the "under 1/4 tank" fine. When I received the truck it was under 1/4 tank, but not enough to call it the next increment. this is where I returned it. plus a gas fee also. did this location actually use the $30 fee/fine to add gas? probably not, just sent it out to the next guy. U-hauls policy to fine the guy who gets it back under the 1/4 tank should be eliminated. this is a cost of doing business. POOR customer service.

I have rented from this location multiple times. It is always so simple. The staff is well employed, especially Nancy and equipment is always clean. Check in and check out is very simple and I do recommend this location for anyone inquiring about U-Haul rentals.

You should warn that after hours drop off is at your own risk. There were a lot of homeless people around and I didn't really feel safe taking pictures and trying to complete the return process at night.

Staff was friendly and the equipment was clean. When a prior renter had not returned the vehicle I reserved, the lady upgraded me to a larger truck at the same price. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy! Very good experience.

I got 3 things to mention. 1)Location was ok, people were nice. 24hr returning was not cool. I had to drop off on the street. I did not know if there was going to be space on the street to begin with. Also, they warned me that there might be lots of homeless on the street and dont come by myself. Awkward. 2)I rented the trailer 2 months a head of time. For some reason the tailer was not ready for me. Also, they let me know only 2 days ahead of time that I wont be able to pick it up from the location I choose. I was relocated to somewhere that is completely off my route. Also when I ask where else I can pick it up, they kept saying that is the closest one. They werent helpful at all. They just kept repeating their selfs 3) Lastly, When I called to see if I can drop it off on a different location, again it was not helpful. I had to drop it off at the pick up location. they said they ll give me a $50 discount for the problems. Then I m charged the full amount. Now I have to call again to fix that as well. So in general, it was a pretty bad experience.

Your return self service website is awful. The page where I have to take pictures of the uhaul kept refreshing itself and losing all of the pictures I already took. I had to take the same pictures of the vehicle 7 times for it to let me submit without refreshing itself.

Was over charged for gas, then credited back. Was over charged for miles and no explanation given. Called the dealer numerous times to solve issue over the phone however no answer. When I arrived at the dealer there was no customers at all. Had to wait over 30 mins at dealer to resolve issue. Would never recommend anyone go to that uhaul dealer.

The central operator didn’t tell me anything about a cash or card deposit for rental , leaving me stuck without a car having to just “ figure it out” on the spot Both pickup and drop off locations were great so it was not their fault at all

The truck had a hole in the roof and got all my items wet. Paid 400 to get a truck for the day to move and it ended up costing me more because of the water issue. I will never use U-Haul again. I wasn’t offered a discount all I was told was to call multiple number to submit a calm

Funny, technology is supposed to make our lives better, cough-cough. I booked my reservations to the Liquor Store on Ulric St. To find out it’s now double booked. And now I’m sent to Mission Valley’s Uhaul. But, every time we go online, there’s no reservation ID-ing me!? Weird. Then, getting closer to the Uhaul in Mission Valley, the “Dead Zone” kills your Phone’s GPS, WHAT!? Now, I parked the Van and load it up. Now ready to leave . . . Dead Battery! Ya, someone pre-Turn the auxiliary LIGHTS On! Can’t see THAT during the daylight. NOW we had to jump the Van. Really! Why would you guys turn the Lights on? Dumb. Funny, Huh?

The vehicle was dirty and had to be cleaned by myself. The cargo floor was sticky from some previous rental and had not been checked or cleaned by UHaul staff. This vehicle had over 106,000 miles on it which certainly did not inspire confidence. The storage facility should have been cleaned up of litte on the ground areas. Seems like the staff has nothing to do but play on their phones... I'll be looking elsewhere next time when renting a like vehicle.
