I’m a loyal customer and scheduled a vehicle pickup 5 minutes from where I was staying temporarily in Montgomery Il . When I went to pick up the truck in Montgomery, I was told I had to pick it up in Aurora Il, 20 minutes away. The employee in Aurora was not very helpful. I will not use U-Haul again! It was an inconvenience having to go all the way to Aurora when the parking lot in Montgomery had plenty of trucks.

I set the pick up location to be at a gas station up the street from my moving location. A representative called and told me that the location will not have the equipment I need and will have to go to another location that was still close by to pick up. I go the said new location and start the pick up process only to be told that i am at the wrong location and the truck is at the original choice of pick up. I arrive and the associate has no idea that they were a UHaul pick up/ drop off location, has to call their boss over the phone twice to be walked thru the process of finding the keys, only to find them still in the drop box.
Daniel FTalked to a guy who didn’t speak English who put me on the phone with another guy who didn’t speak English. Had to do the entire process on the phone with said gentleman who didn’t speak English. Very frustrating and took about 3 times longer than it should have.
Jason BTook 45 minutes to get keys. Charged for insurance I didn’t want and did not give me mileage discount was offered.
