Terrible location and rude staff. Also fraudulent. Claimed I had rented dolly and blankets which I had not. Kept arguing about it even after I showed the rental contract. He said he doesn't remember giving me any of those but his â€œsystemâ€ is showing it. Eventually said he will call uhaul to resolve. I waited nearly 30 minutes but the matter was still not getting resolved. I told him I will call Uhaul directly and resolve with them. Thank fully it was all sorted by uhaul. Horrible location and absolutely no service. Truck cabin had not been cleaned either. I had to unload a bunch of trash before leaving on my trip. I had a massive problem with my vehicle and received no assistance. The AC went out 4 hours into a 20 hour drive on the hottest days of the year and could not be fixed . I was told I would need to unload and repack a new truck by myself which was not an option. I expect a full refund.Lewis S.

Sherry is an amazing gem. This is the first time I have rented. I called before the rental, she explained everything to me. She was there when I picked up and returned. She is very efficient, effective, understanding and friendly. A truly great asset to your business. would definitely recommend. Please make sure she gets positive ratings and feedback. I had a very bad experience with the truck. I rented the 26' truck after loading the truck and going to unload it started to rain and the wipers were broken and I was stock in the rain and almost crashed so many times after stopping every one mile and slowly driving 10 miles per hour on the high way. I although took a video of what happened. This wasn't very safe I hope you guys fix those wipers before the next customer use the truck so they don't go through what have happened to me. The pick-up location could not have been more unprofessional. It's a run down Motel 6. The attendant was terrible and of no help. She told me the van had 1/2 tank of gas. And that I had to return it with 1/2. I get in the filthy vehicle and see it has 1/4 tank. So I have to drive back. I tell her the situation and she doesn't believer me. So I start the vehicle up to show her and she says, oh that's funny. Well okay I'll re-write the contract which took another 19 minutes. Oh and there is no way this vehicle w as cleaned to be Clovid-19 compliant. I had to wipe down the entire front with my clorox wipes. I will NEVER rent from this location. The truck had a flat tire. There was no lockbox or key code, I had to speak to a person through a glass window (which was impossible to hear through with rt 1 traffic) in order to get the key. I paid for furniture & appliance dollies, but neither were in the truck. I had to contact u-haul customer service multiple times, the person with the keys who happened to have an appliance dollie, the local manager, as well as the man who fixed the tire. I scheduled for an 8am pickup, but couldnt leave the lot until 9:30. Everyone I spoke with was professional and worked to accommodate, but for the $200 I paid for my rental, I expected better than having to wait around for 1.5 hrs and make multiple calls to pick up a working truck with the equipment I paid for.Richard E.

Picking up from here was a nightmare. I completed the pickup procedure on my phone, but there was no explanation of how to get the key. It turned out, they motel staff have the keys, but they would not give it to me due to an incorrect understanding of how the checkin procedure works (they thought I needed a text message with the truck name and wouldn't give me the key otherwise.) This was only resolved after calling UHaul and having them call the motel to tell them it was fine. Will not use this location again.Matthew O.

I arrived and the man behind the counter could not communicate clearly with me through plexiglass and a mask (I'm pro-mask) and then had trouble with the system. Had to wait 10 minutes while he figured that out. He then handed me the key without telling me where the truck was so I had to go find it literally in the middle of a tropical storm/hurricane. I also got in and realized there was only half a tank of gas and that I was to refer to my contract in regards to how much I needed to fill it up before returning. Despite looking, I was unable to find any contract details telling me this so I had to gamble and take it back with half a tank. Finally, I got no information on tolls and whether or not I could use EZ pass or had to pay cash. Traveling to Massachusetts, there are not cash tolls so I had no idea how that situation would work out. Overall, poor experience to the start of my rental.John K.

WARNING-BEWARE and USE ANOTHER COMPANY-NOT UHAUL!! Your personal information will be collected via photocopy at this, and perhaps, other locations. The smartphone service process obtained all information! Following that validation, we were to only go in and pickup the keys to the vehicle; however, the keys would not be provided at this location until a photocopy of both the creditcard and Driver's license (ALREADY obtained & authorized in the smartphone checkout process) was provided. UHaul REFUSED to help when called during the key pickup debacle-35 minutes following completion of the smartphone process until we felt there was no option. UHaul has refused to respond to that this process that placed secure, private information, already obtained by their system, into physical circulation. I am STILL awaiting a proper explanation and remedy! I had to cancel my credit card and have a new one reissued following this experience. Perhaps if UHAUL is concerned about customers, they should respond to them. 3 business days have passed (their timeline-not mine) since my concerns regarding this horrendous experience!!Kyle M.

When I got the cargo van I had rented, there were old donuts in my seat and the cup holders all had spoiled chocolate milk sitting in cups--all of which I had to clean out prior to leaving. Prior to that, the attendant at the Motel 6 was less than hospitable and quite rude with questions and concerns I was asking. Definitely a less than pleasing experience.Neal S.

Your computer system is great in that I get everything noticed by email, voice mail and text. For the second year in a row, my pick up place for the truck moved from where I wanted to pick it up to the Howard Johnson's/now Motel 6 on Route 1 in Lawrenceville. Again great notice on the voice mail, text and email. For both years, although having all the information pre-registered into your computer system, the desk at the hotel seems lost and can't find any of the information. It took 55 minutes to get the van yesterday, after the clerk called someone four times, asked for my license twice, swiped my credit card twice, did not have the furniture dolly that I had pre-ordered (second year in a row for that). The clerk's personality is probably not want you have representing you for U-Haul. He may have been new and not understood your computer system, but he could have said that or tried to communicate his issues. He ultimately did allow me to return the vehicle at 5:00 PM versus the 4:00 PM that was on the original documentation after I told him that it might not be possible since although I arrived at 9:00 AM (when the truck was reserved for) I got the keys for the truck at 9:55. There was a person he was helping before me that he wrapped up at 9:10. He did initially tell me at 9:30 if I brought it back after 4:00 PM that I would be charged additional time. I have rented trucks previously from U-Haul from your Mount Laurel location (which is a U-Haul location) and never had any issues with either the right equipment being there when it was reserved, or being able to have all the paperwork done (after doing it all on your computer system prior) and being on my way in five minutes. I understand that this hotel location is not a primary U-Haul place, but if you are paying the hotel anything for doing this service, they need to be better trained in your computer system and they need to have some courses on customer care. By the way, your equipment was clean, the van was new (only had 6100 miles on it) and it performed great in very rainy weather.William C.

I tried to explain that I had done the online process, but he was just kind of rude and irritated. I rented a van for pickup 3 miles from where I needed it, the night. Score I get an email with a bait and switch indicating that pickup is actually 12 miles from where I wanted to be!â€” knowing I was out the money to have to pay 20 extra miles, I began frustrated. The , after finally getting my van, I found other items were being stored in the back!! Absolutely no help hooking up the trailer. Just sent around to back of motel and told to pick it up myself. Didn't have the blankets I ordered (only 4 of 6). It was adequate but hard to find and hard to understand the staff on the phone. Limited selection of equipment. They incorrectly charged me for towing that I didn't want. Waiting on the refund. There was one person handling multiple tasks at the same time which took longer and added to the inefficiency, especially as I was under a time constraint. The lobby is disgusting. The man working there was on his phone scrolling facebook the whole time i was talking to him while returning the truck. he never checked the truck in, and 4 days later i received a call from U Haul asking where the vehicle was. This caused a lot of stress and anxiety simply because an employee was incompetent and couldn't perform the basic functions of his job. because of his incompetency, i had to take time out of my job, two days in a row, to talk with u haul representatives to try to track this vehicle down. this is completely unacceptable and a very poor reflection on the company. i will never rent from u hail again and will be telling everyone I know to do the same.Carrie C.

While this location was okay - I showed up for my original pickup location and was then told over the phone that 24/7 truck share was not available there, even though my reservation had been confirmed since the 15th. This is a run down old Howard Johnson motel which the person behind the desk said it will be a Motel 8. The person was impatient while I checked the vehicle to make sure it complied with NJ laws. The vehicle was parked in back of the motel and covered with pine needles. He tried to charge me more than the price quoted by $100. He argued when I called U-Haul and then argued with U-Haul when I put him on the phone with U-Haul. The motel has undesirable people hanging around the outside as maybe this is in a bad neighborhood and a spot for less than desirable people to stay for the night.KElly B.
