Charged the credit card for the rental, after making it clear at reservation, that the card was just to hold it & no charges to the card. Payment would be cash at time if pick up . There apparently was a mix up in commutation with the Harlan location. So I still haven't rec'd money to void the charges on my card. The operator, that took the reservation assured me no charges would be applied to my card. The driver pocketed the cash . I have used Uhaul alot of times it the past , this was my first bad experience. In the reservation to Harlan location, there should have been a clear clarification the pick up would be paid for in cash at that time.

Seemed unprofessional. Didn't explain anything. Didn't do an inspection of the trailer for damage with me, so I took pictures myself to cover me. Not well organized. Very different from other dealers.

Mountain Tire & Auto needs a course or class on how to use the computer system for the rentals. A simple transport trailer pickup that I reserved took almost one and a half hours. I got there at 9:15am and didn't checkout until 10:43am. That delay pushed my arrival time back to Charleston S.C. back from 4pm to a little after 6pm.

NEVER EVER use the 24 hour drop off option. We called Uhaul on the 800 number to verify the drop off location and time, and were told it was a 24 hour drop off location and it would be fine to drop it off at that time and location. 9 days and 5 phone calls later uhaul finally figures out the trailer has been sitting on their lot for over a week. I don't know if this is the fault of the 800 number or the local drop off location, but someone clearly dropped the ball, repeatedly.
