The rental process was bizarre. The price kept changing. And we needed two driver’s licenses plus a reference she needed to call. Then, after leaving, we were being texted to send more pictures. Just a really strange experience.

Because this was a working local store in Slocan city there was only one person behind the desk and he said to me that the local customers come first before the U-Haul Customers, they started my final application, then stopped because they had customers then started then I had to stop this was not acceptable in my eyes, once I had started my final application they should’ve never finished and followed it through until the end, it took me over an hour to finish the final clearance of the vehicle, which I still wasn’t happy with the the result in the end. They sent me home and said everything was OK then I received a bill from U-Haul without it being explained to me the reason why before I left.. totally unacceptable I should know exactly what other fees was before I left.

Sunny GNot very impressed with uhauls business strategy. I originally booked a 15 foot truck with moving dolly in Trail BC, I was allocated a 26 foot truck the day before pickup. A vast difference in Size ffs!!!! Thus, I had to reschedule my pickup located to Slocan to get what I originally ordered- a 15 foot truck. A VAST DIFFERENCE IN DISTANCE, TIME, GAS and EFFORT!.The service I got at Mountain Station was exceptional for the added mileage I had to swallow myself. I also had to forgo the dolly that I ordered to help with shipping purposes!. Pull your finger out uhaul, there are reasons why your customers book certain sizes of trucks and other products. Abide by your customer wishes! Very unsatisfying experience.

ERROLL KThe ladies I dealt with were helpful. They were great to deal with and was the only positive experience of renting equipment. U-Haul as a company, was not great. There was so many complications and misinformation and it was an overall disappointments, time wasting, frustrating experience. There were leftover water bottles, dirty floor mats and garbage behind the seats. I cleaned the out of course because god forbid I get charged or blamed for this.
Krista SWas not willing to honour legal binding contract for equipment return. Not helpful and didn't care. Obviously, with a monopoly in this business, Uhaul can do what they want to hard-working, honest people without any ramifications. Disgusting.

Tonino NMy pick up was booked for 1pm it wasn't on site till 3pm I was considerably late for my arrival. I wasn't offered any kind of compensation for the trouble. I almost booked a truck much bigger then my needs and would of been forced to pay more then my agreed upon booking. Overall extremely dissatisfied with the experience.
COLTEN MAbsolute nightmare with the Slocan uhaul woman who didnt serve me with any respect. She was completely unprofessional, waited 2 hours for her to get it right so i could finally move my stuff and get on the road!! Go elsewhere than this location!
