One tail light was not working, other than that I loved the ease of using the trailerMartin C.
I was guaranteed that I would get a truck with a Cruise Control and when I arrived to pick up the truck it was not equipped with a Cruise What a disappointment to have to travel 2000 plus miles to Canada and not have CRUISE CONTROL. If I was ever to rent from U Haul again would make sure it was in writing that I would get exactly what was promised.Marcello S.
Good Afternoon, I had a reservation, received my confirmation, all was good to go. I went to pick up the truck on the date and time of my reservation and was told no truck, it was in the shop for repairs. So I had to find another truck, 15 miles away. We drove to get the truck and they wanted to charge me one way, if I dropped it off at another location in the same town. Losing time and not wanting to pay an extra $100 to drop off at another location in the same town, we drove back to where we picked up the truck to avoid having to pay the extra $100. I find that when you make a reservation, receive confirmation someone would call ahead of time to inform me that a truck would not be there. This is bad management of a business. When people are moving and planning there time ahead of time, the lack of communications on the part of U-Haul is very disappointing to say the least. The last thing I wanted to do was to find another truck on my moving day. So much for planning head. I am sure that I wont hear from anyone. I told the kid in Alamo, Tx. that I wanted to drop the truck off at PIPE CREEK, TX. When I arrived at the U-Haul place in PIPE CREEK, TX. I was told that I had to return the truck to HELOTES, TX. (20 miles down the road) or I would be charged an extra $433.00 for dropping it off at the wrong location. Give me a break, really. You have my business for the last time. When I finally got to HELOTES,TX. the people there were great.WESLEY M.
