My original trailer was extended to someone and I was not notified until I was at the U-Haul location to pick it up when I received a call from Mia while in line. The second location that she sent me to didn’t realize the had the trailer so I had to be told they didn’t have it until I took them outside to show them where the trailer was and they were surprised it was there. That means they didn’t even inspect it upon return. The trailer hitch, not my tow hitch, was rusted out and I was anxious about the possibilities the entire trip. I had never had an experience like this at U-Haul before and I am someone who rents periodically because I travel locations for work. Also, to pay $1196.00 to rent a trailer is obnoxious. I could see $500 even $600 but that was just price gouging in my opinion. I may consider other options in the future mostly because the cost was insulting. I had the trailer for 2 days and paid $1196. That’s ridiculous. Anyway, previous experiences have not been this problematic but this trip was stressful as a result of the inefficient system of notifying me that I didn’t have the trailer I reserved and then having to head to a different location only to be told they don’t have one, etc…please do better.

Location didn't have the proper pigtail to connect the trailer to my cars lighting system. They sent me off trailer unconnected to another location. Staff was friendly and tried to be helpful but the location has incomplete equipment.

The staff were very helpful n knowledgeable about hooking up the toy hauler, and also what straps n the proper way to strap the vehicle down! 5 star!!!
