This place was very hard to find. It's a convenience store. There were no other trucks there and the signs that say U-Haul were small and very hard to see. The man inside the store did not seem to care at all that we were trying to return the truck.Mark S.

The whole gas station/uhaul center did NOT work out for us. The gas station employee was so confused and told us so many wrong things, and made it so hard for us to get this vehicle. I can tell he's a good guy, and is actually trying to do his job well. Uhaul, you may be trying to save money by reducing employee overhead, but this is not the way. Having an actual uhaul employee possibly on site would be far better. If I can't get my truck from a dedicated uhaul site the next time i'm moving, I'm going to use a different company.Alex C.
Our original pickup location couldn't find the keys for the vehicle and didn't start to problem solve until we arrived. They also had a 20' truck when we only needed a 10'. Not happy that the order is changed based on what they have vs what the customer requested. We were only moving a bedroom and didn't need to waste gas or time trying to maneuver a larger vehicle. Luckily the place they sent us to had smaller trucks. The guy was nice and helpful. Assisted us with the transaction and sent us on our way.Diego A.

This location is filthy and I was asked to help lift the trailer off the hitch. I did not feel safe here. The man was nice enough but has no business manner. He didn't want the invoice for the roadside assistance service so I hope it was properly handled.Rose W.
The check did the money part of transaction fine But when it came to issuing out the truck. He said he did not have time and left When I went into the store to ask a question about the equipment and where can I park my car. he was in the back room watching TV They had no office equipment so I had to use his dirty phone to sign for this transaction. We originally wanted to pick up from the 51st and Mingo/HWY169 Center. Got a call letting us know the only truck we requested was at 31st and Mingo. My spouse drove by the 51st location the day before and they had plenty of the size truck we were looking for. Not sure why we were redirected, but it was inconvenient to say the least. This place was sketch at best. Not sure if the clerk even spoke full English.MICHAEL K.

Seems like the counter guy was surprised when I got there at the appointed time. He had to call someone who then made me go through a fairly extensive check-in, and this was after I had done everything on line to avoid a big process when I picked up the truck. That being said, after the initial confusion, the people were helpful and courteous, and the equipment was excellent.Bennie P.
This was not the location I selected to pick up the truck. My husband went to the location I had selected, and they sent him to this location. This location is in a bad part of town. They made him talk to someone on the phone to pick up the truck (in a dirty gas station, after someone else had been on the phone, in these Covid-19 times with no disinfectant in between uses). It was a convenience store/Uhaul drop off. Where to leave the key was not clear. I should have Used self check out (More instructions) but did not think I had to since the location was open. The person on duty was annoyed by where I parked. We returned the truck clean, with more gas than required and 2 days early, there was no one to direct and not obvious where we should have parked. I will use the 51st & 169 drop off next time.Susan B.
Very weird. The store is a convience store with a U-Haul parking lot. The tranaction was by telephone and required that I had a cell phone. I picked this location so that I could have the assurance of talking with a human that could hear my concerns. U-Haul states that all trucks are wiped down for cororna virus. Did not look like it. The truck had a crack in the windshield, check engine light on, and one blanket had been used as a spray paint shield.Edward P.
The owners of this convenience store did not seem to know how to check out OR in the equipment. Checkout entailed the owner calling someone on phone and handing me his phone. Other person on line took 40 min to finally get me checked out. Checking trailer back in was just as troublesome. The clerk at the store just told me to cal uhaul; he didnt look at trailer, and was helping customers in his store; no one else to help out on lot. The numbers listed on the contract for Mr. Mingo were not working or not accepting calls. Finally got a customer service rep on phone the next day to help me straighten it all out. The trailer had a substantial dent on the left side fender when I picked it up. The check out clerk just said since I told him, he would be my "witness." This dealer seems completely un qualified to handle uhaul as a side business.George K.

This is a convenience store. The man did not know I had a reservation and was not prepared. Did not know how to complete my order and had someone on the phone complete it. This also was not the pickup location I requested.Phillip R.
It took an hour for this individual to get my pre-scheduled rental. He had inadequate training and lack of technical proficiency which caused an extreme delay. His lack of professionalism and lack of urgency put a sour taste in my mouth towards U-haul. However, the trailer was in excellent condition and towed very well. Based off of that, I would use this service again but from a different location.drew H.
