When I got to the location near me. The truck was not available although I had confirmation for the truck. The dispatcher told me I could have a larger truck at the same rate. When I dropped the truck off the vendor charged me the regular rate. I overpaid and I was lied to twice. Will never recommend U-haul to a friend

DONNA SI was charged an extra day for my rental but I returned the trailer upon the agreed day. I need to understand why. There was nobody at the return location but I took pictures and submitted them as instructed.

STEPHEN GWhen we got there we had to sit in the sun for 15 minutes until they decided to acknowledge we were there to pick up a rental. Very poor customer service.
ARICKA TI mad a reservation for the keys to be placed in the drop box on Sunday morning to be picked up at 4 am. Instead of the location doing so, I had to wait until 9:30 am when they opened to get the keys from a person. That set me hours behind schedule. Then the drop box is not attached to the building where a person is, the box is next door. I spent at least 10 minutes looking around and on the phone with U-haul customer service trying to find where to go to get the keys. The person before me had just returned the U-haul, so I had to wait while it was checked back in and the truck was not cleaned before I got it. I didn’t start loading my truck until approximately 6 hours after I had planned to start loading which was an extreme inconvenience. I will not be using this location or U-Haul again.
AISHA CThis location has a shed next to the trucks and two separate office buildings. After figuring out the shed was for storage, proceeded to the office building next to the trucks. This building has the key drop box though office was locked. No information informing customers to proceed to the second office building for assistance. Need signage informing people to proceed to second office building for assistance.
Joseph JToo small a location for drop off of a large truck. Just dropped truck off and left key in box. Location is in very poor location for anything. Streets are small and busy and very hard to find the location. Having driven 3 days from Arizona to Louisiana last thing I needed was terrible drop-off location. Would be fine for local drop off and pick up but if you do not know the area is very difficult to find and then drop vehicle off.
JOHN BThe person running the place is a great guy, friendly, and helpful. I have to rate it low because of the location is in a pretty bad area. The tow dolly I used was in rough shape.
CASEY SThis was my very first time renting a U-Haul. The u-Haul was not kept clean. It was very dirty nasty. It has cigarette butts all over the vehicle. It smell really bad. The vehicle was not maintain proper mechanic it drove in horrible This was the worst experience ever in a U-in in a. If I had enough time to change the rental site in a U-Haul, I would have done so. I am not sure how often you guys check your truck but I am sure it’s not often.

WILLIE MI rented a uhaul from here. I initially needed it for one day but seeing that I was going to need it a second day I called in to extend my rental. When I spoke to a man,he said they were having system issues he would call me back to take the payment when it was resolved. So the second day of using the uhaul comes and I received a call threatening to report the uhaul STOLEN if I didn't call back with a payment within the hour. If I didn't call back, once it's reported STOLEN it's nothing he could do. Now there is a payment on file with is the same card used to rent the uhaul but he said my card was declining and I know that was not the case. I called back and explained to the man I spoke with someone the day before about the extension and was told it was ok. He said he didn't hear that. So mind you I needed to return my rental by 1230. After being threatened with the police as a stolen truck, I stopped my packing/moving faster than I was going too. I definitely communicated with the business to let them know about using the try over the initial 24 hour period before the 24 hours was completed. It's was like a punch in the gut feeling, when your paying for service and that's the response you get. I get back to the rental space and there a note on the door saying they would be back by 2p. Now I spoke with a man he knew that I was returning the rental by 1230pm. I called the phone, no answer. I was there well before time. I just didn't want to leave with uhaul and then have to come back. I ended up using the uhaul app to return the truck because I didn't want to mistakenly get billed for a 3 day. I would not mind renting a uhaul again but from this location I wouldn't because of the issue with saying you basically saying I STOLE a uhaul truck when I never had any intentions of doing that. I was using it to moving my belongs.

As I was unhooking the trailer from my truck this young boy was standing beside me and he then says “Now you just have to lift it up”. I’m 59 years old with a bad back and he does not even offer to help until I ask it of him.

max cIt looks like a junk yard, broken down cars are out and on display. I dropped both items off after hours so I did not interact with the personnel but they could stand to tidy up the exterior of their business.

On top of that the man charged me $110 for 5 days instead of $99.75 $60 for insurance and $75 for mileage when I had to move 11miles up the road a total of 3 times then tried to charge me an additional $45 for mileage when I returned the truck

JMarius LHave the employee there not add extra charges to your bill. I had reservations for a tow dolly. I was told the price would be $100.30. It ended up costing me $154.26. I ended up having to pay an extra $40 for safe toll which I did not want. But I needed to totally then. I did not have no other way to go I had to pay it.
