Customer service is about making the experience easy for the customer. Everything was great but I drop the trailer off at a location 20 minutes away when a Uhaul place was less then a mile down the street. The close one wasn’t expecting drop offs. I would suggest letting customers drop them off and Uhaul Hire Drivers to move equipment within the company. I hated I had to drive 20 minutes after driving and unpacking.

Clyde was extremely helpful. When my car couldn't make the trailer lights work, he changed a fuse for me and when that didn't work, he agreed to come back after hours so I could pick up the trailer when I had resolved my electrical problem. He really cared about helping me!!

We did not go inside of the location, just dropped the uhaul off and put the keys in a drop box. We spoke to personnel over the phone and they were helpful.

Cab was not very clean and bed had some leftover trash. After hours check-in was more than I was told, which was drop off keys in the box. I did not know that I had to take a photo of the odometer so I dropped the keys in the box before had. However I did overestimate my mileage so it should be covered.

The truck killed 4 times while on the road. The location pick up was not on site when arrived for pick up and took forever to get in touch with / come.

I had a reservation for pickup at 10:00. No one was there to assist until after 10:30. I was the first customer to arrive. I was served second. The owner was apologetic and worked quickly to get us out of the door, but myself and the people served before we were on schedules that we were no longer able to keep. The drop off went seamlessly. I believe this morning was a rarity, but it still left a bad impression on me.

Truck was not clean when I picked it up. Additionally, the truck was running rough when I left. The Check Engine light came on (and stayed on) when I was only 20 miles down the road. Fortunately I made it to my destination.

I've used UHAUL before and NEVER had an issue until now... this is the 1st time I used a UHAUL truck and it was in horrible condition. It was not clean when I picked it up ( Inside or out) It ran badly, the engine was noisy like a tractor.. a few times I thought it would stop on me. it was very embarrassing - I was very disappointed that UHAUL would keep such a vehicle in service. As stated before, in the past I've never encountered issues like this before when renting from your company. Hope this helps!

The location is horrible. It's combined with an unprofessional car dealership and lacks cleanliness. It's very difficult to determine it's a UHAUL location. I'd prefer to never use this location again.

At pick up there were 3 other parties that had been waiting. Manager said entire Uhaul computer system was down so couldn’t print contracts so couldn’t take truck. Told us he’d call us. We left and called 800#. They were not aware of any issues. Returned to lot and guy was just hanging out. Said system back up. He’d taken care of everyone else but he had not called us to let us know. Told him 800# didn’t know of any system issues and he said “they didn’t know what they were talking about”

It took 2.5 hours of waiting at this location to get the truck. The order was not processed the night before for 8:00 am lockbox pickup as promised. The store clerk did not arrive until 9:30 am and then it took another hour for him to process the order.

Dirty truck. Ashes on console. Truck smelled horrible. Have photos Also, was charged a SafeMove charge. Was not on reservation or requested at any point. Wasn’t even asked. Simply said all information was in the computer, where the truck was parked and “have fun” I want this refunded. I have insurance that covers rental trucks. I have rented numerous trucks, including several this year. This is the second time I’ve been charged for something not requested or happened. Are locations tacking on charges with the hope that renters won’t notice or take the time to demand a refund?

This trailer had three of the four igihts inoperable. Two required changing the fixture by cannibaliing another teiler. The third would not work even wth a new fixture, the problem was in the cable somewhere.

The area on the outside where the U-Haul is located is dirty and kind of scary when I arrived. I didn’ t know where to go when I got there. But, the attendances and customer service was very helpful.

To say this has been a miserable experience would be an understatement and a disservice to the community. They are not only attempting to play around with my finances, they put people lives at risk and wasted my time more than I'd ever be ok with. It starts July 5th when I reserved a trailer for use on July 12th. I went to pick up the trailer on the 12th only to be told by the location they didn't have one and that my reservation didn't mean they would. I was sent 45 minutes across town to pick up another. The one I received was possibly the worst maintained trailers I've ever had the displeasure of using. Incredibly rusted, low/leaking tires, and a sway that wouldn't go away. I couldn't drive over 60 miles an hour on the interstate or the sway would try to pull me out of the lane We ended up making 4 of the 10 hour drive we had to make before the tire finally let go after having to air it up twice. I was lucky enough to get the vehicle off of the trailer before it went all the way flat. I looked up local U-Haul places nearby and drove over there to swap out the trailer, the new one was FAR better. No sway, no rust, perfection. We return Monday the 16th, I go to drop off the trailer at the main Baton Rouge location as I knew I didn't have the same car hauler I left with and wanted to make sure there was no issue. I got there at 7am and asked for the manager top discuss the reservation issue and trailer issue, and was instructed to go to the place I picked up the first one from (45 minutes out of my way) and they would check it in. and that the manager would be in at 8. So I do, and there is no one there, and they don't open till 9am. So I drive BACK to the main Baton Rouge location where I ask for the Manager Kevin. (It's not about 8) I'm told he won't be in till 8:30 and I HAVE to drop the trailer off at the other location no matter if someone is there or not. So I do. I drive BACK to the Baton Rouge location, it's now about 8:45. Kevin is finally in, where we talk about the whole situation and he apologies for everything and offers me a $100 refund, I accept. I see later that day where the whole amount of $275 was refunded, I figured he had made the choice to refund it all and left it alone. Then comes July 18th, where I am billed $206 by U-Haul for no reason I can see. I call up the U-Haul in Baton Rouge, no answer. I drive up there and of course, Kevin isn't there. I call his cell, he tells me he isn't in front of a computer and there is nothing he can do and he will look into it in the AM. So today, the 19th, I call back up there AGAIN. They answer, and I am told that I have to call the 1-800 number and that he can't do anything and won't. Fantastic Customer Service I'd say. Avoid this place and their products.

We reported our concerns about the maintenance of the trailer to the drop off location but nobody seemed concerned and they just wanted us to get it to them early. This entire experience was by far the worst experience I've had with uhaul.
