The ratchet strap ratchets on this unit are old and have never seen a drop of lube in their 100-year corroded life. They're incredibly difficult to ratchet. I've used ratchet straps all my life, so it isn't me.

It made an obscene amount of noise each time we first started driving the vehicle down the road, but that could just be that I'm not used to driving a large van. All in all, it made our move much simpler than it would have been without this service. We will definitely use UHaul anytime we need to move large items in the future!

Stephen P.I was charged for a full day rental, even though we had it for 6 of the 12hours we were supposed too. So instead of $19.95 I got charged $89.99 for a 1 day rental. We didn't even use the uhaul but for 6 hours. We got charged almost triple. Never ever again. I will recommend penske. At least they don't steal your money.

Danny G.Absolutely everything about this location is terrible. Uhaul needs to retrain and reprimand all of the muffler brothers uhaul representatives. My first truck was full of trash garbage and empty vapes. this was disgusting. I also got a truck that didn't even come with ramps when i told the rep i was transporting a motorcycle. They also charged me 113$ before i ever saw the truck and then told me to go check out the truck alone. i found all the garbage brought it back inside and didn't even receive an apology for the absolute terrible service. I then had to return my first truck because it did not have ramps, and the rep charged me another 10$ even though it was his fault i had the wrong truck in the first place. after all of this upon returning the truck in the morning i was notified i went over the mileage and didn't fill the gas enough. I have picture proof this is absolutely NOT true and i do not appreciate grown men lying about me and trying to charge me more for their mistakes. I will never use this location again and will publicly shame and boycott this location at any and all costs. If you are a customer reading this GO TO SHAMROCK STORAGE, they are twice the location muffler brothers will ever be and the reps actually understand their job and they show you the truck and follow protocol. This is my second report/ complaint of the muffler brothers location and i want a call from a uhaul higher up immediately. this was unacceptable and i refuse to allow someone else to be treated the way i was by this terrible location.
Peyton D.They did not have the proper truck I needed at the Holland location so they sent me out of my way to BG. Then proceeded to give me the wrong pick up address for the truck. Had to wait 5-10 minutes for the truck because they were in the back screwing around- no other customers in the store. Picked it up and was not clean at all, had less than 3/4 of a tank when the paper said it had 3/4 a tank. Was all dented and not cleaned from prior use.

When calling to report the issues I've gotten nothing but a hassle and called a liar to my face multiple times. Will NEVER use UHaul again. And unfortunately looking into having to charge back from my bank since I was not given a functional truck.

Jason G.The trailer rented was a 5 feet by 9 feet trailer, but only measured 51.8" wide. When renting, I thought it would be 60" wide, as that is 5 feet. The item I was moving was larger than 51.8" wide and so the trailer rental was unusable to me. Beware aware when renting to confirm the actual size of the trailer.

Adam D.Mirror was loose and kept moving out of place, truck had a tire pressure issue. Doors wouldn't close. Truck kept coming out of gear.
Shawn B.The truck was still unsafe. Headlights were not aligned anywhere close to reasonableness, wipers barely cleared window, truck body leaked significantly in rain, and truck needed an alignment as it shook significantly reaching 50 mph. It should be taken off the road.
