The worker who helped when we picked up the truck (Shawn I think) was awesome. However, the man I talked to over the phone to confirm the truck pickup time was rude and unhelpful. He would not answer any of my questions and got the time wrong and I had to correct him.
Taylor BThe staff at both the pick up location and the drop off location were great to work with. My problem and complaint was with the scheduling prior to pick up. When I first scheduled (3 weeks in advance) I was given a location to pick up from but a time much later than I asked for. When I called to get a better time, I was told the trailer I wanted could be brought to the location in my town. Then, two days before I was scheduled to pick up, I was informed that I had to go even further away because no trailer was available closer. This did not give me time to seek other options even if I wanted to. I would think that with 3 weeks notice the U-haul company could have arranged something much more convenient. Evidently the customer and his/her satisfaction are not a top priority for the company. To bad, because the people I had to work with in person were great. If I ever use this company again, I will only deal with the local people direct. Forget the online or long distant phone people.
GARY LThe windshield wiper on the van was broken - which I found out when it started storming. The truck was semi-clean - sticky residue in all the cup holders, floors in cab dirty and "some" dirt in the back. The windshield situation made for a very dangerous drive home. The other issue is with the main reservation people. I asked for a place where I could have someone available when I picked up the truck. They changed my reservation to this place, which was closed. I had NOT asked for any dollies, but when my reservation was confirmed, there were 2 added to my invoice. I had to call to get that removed from the bill, but I had no way to have them removed from the truck, since the pick up place was closed. Customer service told me to just "leave them in the wrapped plastic so we know you didn't use them" and leave them in the truck. Told her I was going to be pushed for space and didn't want the dollies taking up room. She gave me the name of a place to drop them off at when I picked up the truck. Hmmm - that place was closed. AND, the dollies were not wrapped in anything - so I made sure to take pictures of them at pick up so that I wouldn't get charged. Please make sure your trucks are in proper working order (windshield wiper) before leasing the vehicle.

ROBERT BThis is totally bogus with the refueling charge. I refueled on the way back to return, stopping at a gas station no more than 2 blocks away. This is the after I put $10. (pictures available upon request) Being charged for this then having to circle back around to fight u haul on this is unacceptable. This charge is frankly insulting enough for me to take a few minutes for it.

Doug HCommunication and coordination between U-Haul and the location could be better. In the positive side we were able to get the 10 foot truck that U-haul told us was not available. On the negative side we asked for blankets and the location did not have any do we went without.

EREMY FGood people. My son accidentally left his car keys in the cab of the truck & didn't discover this until hours after he had dropped off the truck and the business was closed. I called and left a message after hours and THEY CALLED ME BACK that day! The person actually went back in on his day off and got the keys and stayed until my son could come and pick them up. People just aren't like that anymore, it was a life saver as this was Saturday afternoon and the business didn't open again until Monday morning. This was just a good person that did the right thing. Thank You so much for your help. I don't know what we would have done if they had not done that for us. Thank goodness the employee did. Very grateful.
Parker TNeeded a larger truck than I had originally reserved. They had a larger truck available, so made the change in my reservation. I was so relieved! Very pleased with the whole process. Would definitely rent a truck from them again if needed.

Geoff HThis is not a U-Haul owned site and is a muffler shop with no clear U-Haul signage at the street front view. We had to circle twice to find it. There was also no formal return process and the muffler guy just took the key. We had to call U-Haul to ensure our rental was closed out properly. I would never rent from this location.
Lisa MOur scheduled pick up was at 1p.m. I called in the morning to make sure everything was good to go. When I called at 8:30 a.m. the women told me we should come as soon as we could because they might give the truck to someone else. She said she could hold it until 11. At 10:30 I called my daughter who was closer to pick it up. When she called the lady had changed the time to 10:30. The lady then told my daughter she had no idea why I changed the time as if it was my idea. They had plenty of trucks when my daughter got there. Not sure what’s going on but it seems as though they aren’t communicating with each other. Very frustrating experience!!
Crystal FScott had terrible customer service skills. He was very crass and unwelcoming. He was not helpful and refused to answer any questions I had in detail. He did however take the time to criticize my parenting. I was charged for EVERYTHING up front including mileage I did not yet drive and the appliance dolly was broken. Dirty location. Dirty truck, dirty worker, dirty attitude, broken equipment. 0 out of ten, would not recommend.

Robert LDo NOT EVER rent one way from Uhaul!! They rip you off by charging twice the number of days actually needed and by adding an extra 25% to miles to destination. When you only use what you wanted to begin with, they will NOT refund the overages. Never using Uhaul again!!!

jessica bWasn't given The address droop off location in Malvern Arkansas. Got a call the day after drop off that it was dropped off at the wrong address and was told that I probably would get a extra day charge. The contract did not have the drop off address. I found a Uhaul in Malvern and I dropped it off there along with putting the key in the appropriate lock box. I haven't seen any extra charges as of yet. But if I do, I don't think I should get that extra day charge. Other than that, the experience was good.
allen kMy kids father came up there the day before to pick up a rental and the guy would not take his driver's license because it was broke at the top but all the info was on it. But the guy was rude and didn't even tell him he could have just used the app to pick it up. Put us a day behind for something so simple.
