The people who run this shop are fantastic, and the customer service was better than anywhere. The only negative of this location compared to a main location is that the truck was parked a few blocks away, and there was a few extra steps to collect it. Other than that, I was very happy and will rent from this location again.

The pictures of the truck rented were mostly accurate. The u-haul decals were removed, however not in the picture illustrated. I included another as I wasn't sure if you are interested.

While your agents were polite and helpful, your check-in system was overly complicated and long. It took approx 45 min with their help. The lady in front of me took 60 min. This threw everything off, and the ball on the hitch was so corroded it couldn't be used. It wasn't until I returned the truck that I was told you are supposed to supply your own ball. This would have been helpful to know before. Your mobile app Check-in system made this experience abysmal.

The Uhaul app was not working, so it took almost half an hour to obtain the truck. Further, the truck was not even parked at the location, we had to drive around the block to another location to pick up the truck. A dolly was rented and paid for, but it wasn't in the truck, making our move take much longer. Two additional phone numbers, other than the drivers were required upon pickup that was never previously indicated, forcing people who weren't even helping move have to answer the phone for no reason on a Sunday morning. Overall, horrible experience. Fix your app.

I was given only one of two dollies that I had rented, was still charged for two. Upon returning my vehicle I was never made aware of a "return vehicle" step on the website, potentially due to the apparent scamming nature of the location, Munchies N More. Will never deal with Mahesh again.

I have rented a lot of Uhauls for work and personal projects from locations all over vancouver. Usually, the whole interaction of pick up and return are rude and more or less unhelpful with answering or clarifying questions. The interactions I had at this location were not only efficient, but pleasant enough to bright an otherwise, very stressful day. They were extremely helpful, trustworthy, and even appeared happy to be interacting with me. The truck was available on time, with all the extra equipment i requested already inside, and clean. I would definitely recommend this place, and will be returning. Thank you so much!

The location where we got the car, was not doing well. There was no dolly in the vehicle and we had to come back again (25 min drive) and got it. Wasting alot of time, they said you sould have been noted !!! I am not happy at all with their service.

Dropping off the Uhaul at this location because we were asked to. After dropping it off and leaving keys with the attendant being assured everything was finished up my account was never closed. I had to spend the whole following day calling Uhaul customer service until I got somebody useful who could help me. Uhaul is honestly just a god awful disorganized company, nobody is on the same page. You can call customer service 3 times and get 3 different answers for any question you may have. Awful experience

The total experience was great. The manager was great and helpful. The low box was very helpful. It helps to explain your variable amount of gas in the tank to new customers. I have rented trucks before - what I needed was an estimate of the gas burned per mile at Canadian prices to know how much to add after driving. It ended up being about a dollar (Canadian) per mile for gas was a safe amount. It burned a litre of gas every 3 kilometers. Also explain to drive around to a side street before checking the paint and scratches and photographing is safer than doing on Boundary Road. The courtesy charge is introduced too late to be helpful. The fee for the truck was quite good in comparison with other rates at other companies for similar trucks. Thank You.

The van's gas tank was not full.. it was at 3/4's . When I went to the gas station to fill up gas before rerurning the unit , It was hard to gauge what was enough to get up there to 3/4 mark.. I started with 5 dollars ( 3 litres ) and the meter didn't go up a single notch .. then tried 10 dollars ( 6 litres ) and it moved a bit below the 3/4 mark.. considering I needed to drive 3 kms back to the drop off location of the van.. I put 5 dollars more ( another 3 liters ) and Barely got up the three quarters marker. So I decided enough was enough and started to drive towards the drop off location and then the marker went up all the way to the next mark way past 3/4 !!!! 3 mins on the way to the drop off area. So I ended up spending 20 dollars worth of gas for a 20 dollar rent of a van that I only used for 12 km! Just because the van's gas wasn't full! And it's hard to gauge when you reach 3/4 !!!! It's outrageous.. Every single van should be given with the tank full.. otherwise it's hard to gauge what's 3/4 or half the tank or 5/8ths etc etc.. I tried to be right and return it with 3/4 exactly and ended up being ripped off.. at least there should be a refund system in place if someone delivers the van with extra gas .. as that may be more common that expected ..just because it wasn't a full tank. Just awful experience. It feels likes rip off..

15 truck was to high to get in for shorter customers, need extended step rail. Also parking location on busy street, boundary road in burnaby, is very dangerous . U ask for pictures of van and stepping out on road can get u killed.

Very bad customer experience. There was a line scratch on the passenger side already. They were putting blame on us. We tried to convince them and asked for Old photographs but the store manager was not helpful and totally unprofessional. We need to call customer care and after more than a hour phonecall they were able to find that scratch was already there. Its good that they were able to find the problem but not a customer experience even though we were clean.

The store pushed me to do self check in even though I asked for it to be done on paper. They refused to do a proper walkthrough with me because they said its not required for self check in and now I am being charged for damage to the roof that I absolutely did not cause. The self check system is joke and the staff at this location while friendly are all as lazy as they come!

Mahesh was extremely unreasonable when we took the Van back. He charged us. $230 for a scuff mark on the back of the car that we did not do. I am hopeful I haul can ameliorate his mistake.

The oil was low but it's going in for maintenance in a couple days. The new owners were friendly, the truck arrived late (due to previous customer) but they also let us keep it later because of it.

The store owner was late to open his store. The vehicles are stored few blocks from the store on a very busy street (making it dangerous to take pictures of the vehicle). Truck was clean but it seemed like the engine was about it give out.

The truck was parked 5 blocks away, was late for pick up (30 minutes) and they made me walk get it. When I brought I back, thinking I could park it nearby, I was told by a very rude person that I had to drop it 5 blocks away. When I asked why I would do that, she proceeded to argue with me as though she had never worked in customer service in her entire life. Brutal. Simply brutal
