This location never has anyone there to do the actual uhaul stuff. They did have the only uhaul available in the entire county but they were closed when we picked it up and had to use the AWFUL uhaul app to check in. The trick sounded like it was going to blow the transmission the entire time and had almost 100k miles on it. When I contacted uhaul customer support, they wanted me to file a claim and wait for someone to come and deem out "save." I only had it for 6 hours, and it took almost 45 minutes to check out in. I opted out of roadside assistance, used it to move, and then when I tried to return it, the place was closed so I had to use the uhaul app again to return it. In the pouring rain and unlit parking lot, the app wouldn't let me do the check in process even though I tried on two different phones. It took 45 minutes of trying to return until I dropped the keys in the drop box, called the customer service line and was told there was a 63 minute wait. At 9pm on a Sunday. They called me back an hour later and then promptly hung up on me 25 seconds into the call. No contact again from them. Then received a bill in an email at like 11am this morning. What an absolute nightmare. The uhaul app is completely unusable. Overhaul it or get more people to answer the phone. Never again.Natalie M.

Nobody would return my calls or pick up a phone after more than 30 minutes on hold. This is not about location but your equipment. It has been all day and it still is not resolved. I want a full refund for putting my family in danger. Mechanic came by and said it's not tranny fluid and the truck should have NEVER left FL let alone a 900 mile trip.WILLIAM S.
Hardly any fuel, transmission wasn't working properly, ceiling was falling out of cab, strap on dolly was already broken and the online check in and drop off was a joke. Will definitely not use again. Never had trouble with Penske.MELVIN B.

when picking up, the gentleman was at the counter, no others in the store, but he was obviously inputting something in to the computer. he let me stand there for more than 5 minutes without even acknowledging me. a simple just a minute or I'll be with you, would have been nice. it would not stop me from renting there again, but customer service is important.BethAnn H.

This is not a full time franchise. It is operated out of a Auto Parts Store where the owner goes to Florida during the winter. He is answering the phone during the day to set up appointments with his daughter and son-in-law which are made at their convenience. I asked for 5 pm the day before the pickup only to arrive at the location and find nobody around. The owner tried to get the pickup scheduled for 6 the day that I called but did agree to 5. I tried to call the listed phone number only to find the mailbox full. That left me to call U-Haul Corporate where the agent was able to make contact with the owner. Finally at 6:00 pm, they showed up to get me hooked up and do the paperwork. The 4-pin pigtail was crushed at two places showing bare conductor. The agent was able to find a replacement and did get it fixed. I was given personal phone numbers to contact for the return which went well. The problem that I have is that they are operating the franchise when it is convenient for them. If the location is not manned, they need signage indicating alternate phone numbers to contact. There was another customer waiting in the parking lot when I got there, trying to rent a truck by signing online from their smart phones. They finally gave up and left. The only reason that I found out what goes on with the business is that I went to the Pizza Shop next door to try and find out what goes on there.FRED T.

This was the second time I used Murdick to pick up a truck. First time was great, this time took a halhour due to some computer problems in the signout process. I can't say for sure if it was the facility's fault. The truck had food wrappers and chips crumbs in the cab, wasn't shoveled out of the snow well, and had a big scratch on the side that I wasn't informed of, then of course worried that I would be blamed. The fuel gauge upon pick up also barely touched the F line, which meant it was several gallons down when I got it.Joseph S.

Great service. But we wanted a closer one which would have saved us at least 20 miles. And when we went passed that other location there was a truck sitting there all day. Also we were told at the begining that is was 59 cents a mile and on contract it was 79 cents. Just a little upset with these two things.patrick M.

The store was super dirty and smells bad, only one employee and he was super slow. Have to wait for 25 minutes til I was attended and there was only one customer before me. He was not using his mask....thank God, because it was soooo dirty that it was impossible to breath through.damari M.

I had ordered and was charged for equipment that was never provided. I was told the blankets and dollies I ordered were in the back of the truck I rented. I had also stated upon my reservation of a truck that I would be taking it one way. Rear door stiff, hard to operate, the trailer leaked dirty black slimy water all over my mattress and box springs a wet filthy dirty mess ..very hard to clean off...as a result the deck was slippery and unsafe to load and unload...very expensive$$ without proper service.. the marker light and wiring came loose and fell out enroute... a refund $$ or adjustment is needed ASAP Thank You!Frank K.
I was told told upon picking up my trailer that the sooner I drove across the country and turned it in before the 8 days then my price would be readjusted to meet the amount of days I actually used to get across. I wanted a bigger truck from Rapps bike someone didn't return the truck so they could only get on at a different location. But they only had a van. So instead of one trip I did 3. And could get iit all. Ex wife wouldn't let me make another trip. And cost a lot more than expected because of mileage. So wasn't satisfiedEugene D.

The prescreening process was fine. Collect credit card, drivers license and reservation ok. But at the time of pickup there are way too many processes to complete. You should issue a pin number during the pre screening, to be used to get access to the keys. I probably won't use your online process again. It was a real pain in the ass!Al C.

The locating service was terrible. I searched online with uhaul website in many surrounding towns with no trailer found. I called uhaul and the rep also couldn't find anything. As last ditch effort I tried butler pa and found a trailer at Murdicks . In fact he had 2. Mr Murdick made it very easy. I also was upset because I declined the insurance coverage as I have it with my car insurance- but uhaul charged me anyway and murdick could not take it off my bill. I would like to get that back. As far as the trailer- it worked flawlessly and is a great unit.james E.

Someone is running a scam. I rented a $19.95 truck and went about 20 miles to haul furniture. Was shocked when the guy told me I had went 50 miles and that's what I had to pay for. I somehow went 50 miles in a few hours in little stretch of route 68. There is NO possible way. So $78 for a few hours and $18 in gas?? SCAM. We should have known better when my parents rented one the other dag to haul some wood and got charge $60. For at most 10 miles. VERY VERY unhappy right now. It's bad enough we just lost everything we own in a flood and then to have local company scamming us for the little bit of money we have because we don't have a truck to haul with.jessica P.

The trailer I was scheduled to receive had a very, very loose right wheel bearing. Fortunately for me there was another trailer available at this location. There was also an electronic communication failure with Uhaul from this location which resulted in my being here for over an hour. The Uhaul representative at this location was very accommodating and considering he had several customers waiting on Uhaul products he was very gratuitous.ron G.
