It should be easy to understand that customers rent trucks for moving, so if they order supplies they actually need them. Someone called, sent me to another location, that one didn't have the truck I rented. I got to the new location and they told right away they had no furniture pads and haven't had them. I expressed that I was moving that day and wasn't happy. You just added a new trip and expense, wasting my time and maybe money on the day I was moving. She said she would call the Uhaul rep to see if another location had them and I didn't even get an answer from her after that call. She just stated he doesn't do his job and continued the check-in. She then asked me info I already provided online and didn't have off the top of my head like the address of where I was dropping the truck off in the town 5 hours away I haven't been to. Your site told me the boxes would ship, so I didn't want them, but the store had boxes and didn't have the pads that it said they did. Overall it wasn't a great experience at all. I don't know how much blame goes to the lady at the shop. She didn't have the website info I already gave and the person she gets supplies from acted like it was a bother to even address what you didn't have that i needed with her telling me she's been trying to get them for weeks and can't. If you don't have them great but the last thing I want is to find out 30 minutes before i pack a 4 bedroom home and move it 5 hours away is that I'm short all of the padding and since i live in a small town it's nearly impossible to get. The first lady that called from Uhaul to go over my order just ran through that i had to go to a different place to get the truck, here's docs i need done, and have a good move, and that was it. For a $600 order someone could make a phone call or check stock to make sure they had what i needed and at least let me know. I don't expect you to have them, out of stocks happen, but multiple people just took my info and pushed me along till i got to the rental place and then told me you didn't have what i ordered at all and made it feel like i was demanding too much for asking for what I said I needed. I won't use Uhaul in my home area again. Everyone was more concerned with getting payment and passing me to the next person that fulfilling the needs i had.
JOSEPH MEverything was perfect. Equipment was clean and working properly and ready for me when I arrived. Staff were professional and efficient to help me with my needs.

MATTHEW BI was gonna hit it with the pressure washer before returning it, however it took longer than I had planned on. A lot longer. Great people I've rented vans, dollys, trailers you name it.

CLIFFORD TThe lady and gentlemen was awesome. But I would like to take a moment and let you know about the lady taking my reservations on the phone I believe in Springfield, Illinois or maybe in St Louis the 1-800 number. She was very rude. Unaccommodating felt like I was bothering her. Was very unprofessional of her. This whole experience was a nightmare in the beginning because there were no trucks available and I understand that. But for me to have to drive an hour out of my way to go pick up a truck which somebody in U-Haul could have went and got and brought it to me is what I was told. But towards the end of the whole conversation I had to drive an hour out of my way to go get the truck then come back to where I was loading the truck and have to do all the unhitching and hitching three times just to load my own truck because I had a tow dolly. I should have been able to load my truck and then go get a tow dolly somewhere else in the vicinity on my way out of town. This whole this whole thing was a headache in the beginning. It is not the lady at my Fix-It location in Farmington. I am very pleased with her. She was very accommodating. Help me understand things loaded my car onto my Dolly. Her and the gentleman that worked there deserve recognition
Donna SCustomer service was snotty and rude when I picked up the uhaul. Rolled her eyes and made snide comments to me. Gave me the worst uhaulon the lot that ran poorly.

Ryan TOur rental was for the days so we could move overnight , however we could not use trailer at night because the running lights were inoperable. We informed the owner and she advised that some of the trailers come like that. Not safe at all !!! Don't feel like a got good value for the money I spent
ASHLEY RChloe was super helpful and kind in explaining everything. The pricing was exactly what she estimated! There were no surprise charges. It was very fairly priced. Very kind workers there. I highly recommend this place! The only issue was my husband struggled with the dolly being stuck and it took a while for someone to come out and offer to help (there was a lot of snow on the ground), but that wasn’t a big deal at all. He was happy, I’m happy, our family is happy, and we LOVE u haul! Thank you guys again at My Mechanix!
Hannah LI picked it up to use for a day. I drove about 20 miles there and back. I wasn't able to use it due to unforseen circumstances. It would be nice to see a partial refund.

DEBRA LInside the trailer was still trash and fire pit ashes everywhere. Had to be cleaned and mopped before I could load my belongings. No big deal just minor set back when thought I was ready to load.

BILLY BWe arrived at the U-Haul location just a few minutes past the 24 hour mark for our rental and were then charged for 2 days. The U-Haul location employee was not able to change the rental amount to one day because the system automatically set it for two days. It would be nice if the location had the ability to make changes for these circumstances. The employee gave us a phone number to call to ask for a refund, but the number was incorrect. Thats why I am filling out this survey because I don’t know who to call.
Brian KTold them the gas was incorrect in form and they charged for fuel anyway.

Gerald AI was told the charge was $29.95 and I’d have 100 free miles. I got 50 free miles and when I checked my account I was charged just under $126.00. Praying I get a refund.
Christopher PThey forgot to give me the dolly then blamed me saying I should have asked instead of just apologizing. I called about 3 times to make sure the dolly was on the order, when I arrived to pick up the truck I paid for a dolly and I assumed it was in the truck but when I drove home it wasn’t in there. They then told me they keep them in the store?! That’s fine but how was I to know where they store the dolly? I was refunded for the dolly but that’s not the point. My time and energy is valuable and moving is stressful enough. when a person is moving and people are waiting on them for the truck then to have to drive back to the store when you’re paying for the miles and gas is not ok. The lady never apologized and the only job she had was to remember the dolly. Some guy came out to give me the dolly when I returned with a huge attitude and blamed me. Common people wake up and stop blaming your customers for your error and own up like a man. I would not recommend this location due to the unprofessional and disrespect for other people’s time. The lady looked half asleep I should have known to confirm the dolly was not in the truck
