Pete NI asked for a hand truck and was told there wasn’t any. I had to go Home Depot and rent one from them which cost me 27 dollars. According to the rep there, I would gotten it for free if I had rented a truck from them. I will never come back to this location.

Christine FThis will be the absolute last time i will use UHAUL, This present rental experience was a real perfect example of the total lack of professionalism, rudeness and condensing treatment of a customer by the uhaul representative. It was a complete embarrassment and poor display of the uhaul brand. The dealer was not only uninformed about the uhaul product, but set forward a dangerous physical situation for the customer that will very soon become a future lawsuit in the making against the lack of thorough vetting of all those who are presently representing and engaging the Uhaul customer market. Shame on Uhaul for their lackluster vetting process of those who will given the responsibility of their products. As well as a customer service team that was highly inadequate, showed lack of concern, lack of compassion, with very little in regards to rendering help or any real organic concern. No Thank You L. LUIS MThe van I had reserved had a sheet of ice across the entire windshield. When i raised this item, the attendant told me that I needed to chip away the ice myself. Secondly, when I tried driving the van, it was stuck because it was in an area with ice. You would think the attendant would spread salt to ensure a clear drive path. Lastly, I asked if I could instead use a different van in the lot which was more accessible, and the attendant's initial response was "no, its not possible because your original van was already assigned to you." When I asked him to please pull the original van out of the driveway (because I couldn't due to the ice) he then assigned the more accessible van. Clearly he was lying when he said assigning the more accessible van was impossible.

MARC SEquipment was in good shape, but there was less than half a tank of gas, and I was told it was my responsibility to fill it with gas. Customer service overall was rather terrible I must say. Not helpful at all. Again, the truck that I have rented was in very good shape, so if you do not care about the customer experience by all means it is not a bad place to use.

Anthony CI have been renting from U-Haul for over 20 years, In 5 states, and this is by far the BEST location. Staff is friendly, professional, and very accommodating. They are open 7 days a week with extended hours every single day. I have not found this level of service and availability of equipment anywhere!

Andrew FFix the app. Repeatedly crashes when uploading final proof photos. Very frustrating after 15 hard hours of laborious moving and just wanting to do drop box overnight return and be done. Also, parking lot needs potholes fixed and lighting if you want people to be able to back it in properly. On a positive note, very friendly and helpful front counter service during pickup.

Austin CThe van we rented was disgustingly dirty inside. It was covered with dents on the outside despite the fact that it only had 28,000 miles. The left brake light, tail light, and turn signal were out. I almost got a ticket because of it. I will not be using this location again.

Gomes IThe van stank of cigarette smoke. We had to drive with the windows down in 87 degree heat because my pregnant wife was nearly vomiting the whole ride. Otherwise the van was in good mechanical condition.

Martin HI rented a 15 foot U-Haul truck. From Brewster, New York, U-Haul location my experience. regarding the worthiness of the road for the truck was horrible. Needs major front end work while traveling down the highway truck was all over the road. Doors had to be slammed shut to stay closed. unfortunately I will not be renting from U-Haul again.
Philip fThe manager who took my name did not spell it correctly in your computer system and it caused a delay at pickup. Your people should also instruct the renter that the cube vans ride much different when they are fully loaded as opposed to empty. The ride in an empty vehicle is very noisy and the suspension throws the truck around a bit. The ride with a full load is much better!!!

Ricardo ZI was over charged! I had 1/4 tank of gas when returning vehicle. I picked it up with 1/8 or less! In addition I returned truck a day early. I had some extra miles due to rerouting from 95 to 681 per the truck app I used to assist me in driving a 20’ truck. I’m not happy with the additional charges $$.

I moved from NY to Annapolis and had extra charges for the extra days I had the rentals since my apartment wasn't ready which was fine. But the most wild story of my shitty $1k experience (after all the weird charges) was I lived in Newburgh NY and had to drive to Brewster NY to pick this truck and car tow dolly up was 40 min away to begin with. Not only did the owner not know how to help me set up the dolly and properly lock my car into place he made me wait over an hour until his friends and family came to help me and no one to their credit wanted any responsibly of this process asking me to strap a tire in etc etc. So I got the truck and my car in tow back to my old home. I unstrapped the car as I needed to grab some things for the move, Luckily I had a neighbor who is in the landscaping business and gladly helped me out. I didn't watch him re hook up my car ti the tow dolly while I was packing but felt confident I was in good hands, Fast forward to me arriving to my destination in Annapolis I notice one of the straps for a n tire is loose and I'm like good god thank goodness this didn't come undone. I don everything I was told rio un hook and my car wouldn't budge,. There were chains that needed to be hooked to the chassis that no oner in. brewestr told me about. I WILLL NEVER USE UHAUL again and avoid anyone towing a Uhaul at all costs. Thank god my car made it here ok and that it didn't spill off and hurt someone more importantly.

I white knuckle drove this car thinking it was just straps when it wasnt but my trip from Brewster to New Windsor that car could have gone anywhere. Never again using Uhaul.

Phyllis HI want to point out a big dissatisfaction when I arranged for returning the trailer. I called the UHaul number as instructed on the contract. The person answered the phone was so unprofessional. First, he told me to return the equipment to a location farther away. When I asked why can’t I return the equipment in my area, and not go all away agent is in another state. He almost cut me off and said “do you want to file a complaint I can transfer you to the customer service department. I said the location you want me to take the trailer to is in another State; there is one only a few miles from where I am, and is in town and in NY State. So he gave me another location, in the same county, but further away; and Hung Up on me before I could say anything. Isn’t this the after service corporate culture. Anyway I took the trailer to the local near me where I wanted to return it to. The local agent took the trailer. No hustle! So I give the local agents 4 stars. The company overall a One Star.

SCOTT DFeedback for U-Haul, not the location: I booked online for a 24/7 truck share and was instructed by U-Haul to download the app in order to access my truck from my mobile phone. When I arrived, I was not able to access the truck from my mobile and had to call U-Haul assistance for help. They informed me that the location did not have mobile access and that I had to wait until the location opened. Luckily, the location was open and was very helpful in getting my truck. U-Haul should not allow me to reserve a truck at a time outside of the location hours if that is what is needed to rent the truck. Again, the location was great. This is a U-Haul website/service concern that I fee should be addressed.
