1 was given the incorrect pick up location, drove a long way to find the place. , dumpy gas station , they gave us the wrong truck to start because the service person never walked out to show us the rig. Finally got the correct truck. Gas settings on paper did not match the actual gage , less , the pick up was supposed to be in am by the time I got the rig it was 11 am. Now an hour drive back to where I started. There were two other locations closer ! Ridgefield ct was much closer to new canaan ct than Brewster ny. Which I was originally given Golden’s Bridge for pick up. .not personal assistance at all. Not informative about the truck nor about where it was to be returned. . No correct address on the paper work either. A lot of lost time and running around. .

The service is very very poor. I was charged double the rate because the person did not know how to use a computer. They did not bother to check the hookup of the trailer. I would take the time and drive to Danbury to rent from there as the staff is much more knowledgeable.

They overcharge me for gas. The guy is telling me to relax because who ever worked the day before never cleared the gas mileage on their system. Unbelievable! Stay away.

The gentleman was very nice. The truck I rented could use new wiper blades. If it had been raining, I wouldn't have been able to see. The truck was clean and comfortable. It would be nice to have some basic instruction on where things are on the dashboard. I looked in the glove compartment, but there was no instruction book. I couldn't find the hazard lights control. Would be helpful to give information on an app or give routes that allow trucks.

We were supposed to pick up our rental in Bethel, CT. Called to let them know that we would be late picking up the trailer. Got there and it was not there - cancelled to be exact. No notes in the computer as to why just cancelled. So we were told to go the the Danbury location to find out they did not have the trailer either. I spent a good amount of time on the phone with Joanne from Uhaul at the Travel office to find where we would have to go to get the trailer that we had reserved 5 months ago. Joanne was amazing and got us set up with the trailer in Brewster who had awesome hours and service. If you are going to be late picking up your rental call (like I did), get the name of the person you spoke to (I usually do but did not this time) and last but not least make sure they put a note in the computer saying you will be late so your rental does not get cancelled. Other than taking a name I did all the right things and still had to go through lots of crap to get what I originally planned for 5 months prior. Thank you to Joanne in the Uhaul Travel office, you rock!

We are a charity and order a truck once a month to transport food 8 miles round trip to our site. Each of the last 4 months we have had issues with our order. Two months the wrong truck was ordered and last month the wrong time was scheduled. This time we were asked to pay for a full tank of gas as the needle was below the 1/4 mark where it was when we picked it up. Unreasonable demand when we need our funds to feed the needy.

I was charged extra money a week after I returned the truck and when I called the guy he was rude and wouldn’t help me at all.. I tried calling U-Haul customer services and 2 different time on hold for 30 minutes so I can’t talk to anyone this is insane and very unprofessional

Why are you only asking me about the pickup location? It was fine but the rest of the uHaul experience was horrible. If you truly want to improve, why don’t you ask me about the rest. How you canceled my original reservation without explanation. The 90 minutes I spent on hold trying to fix the problem. The rudeness I experienced during the hours I spent trying to fix a problem you created. Why only ask me about the location where I picked up the vehicle? Do you actually want feedback?

The pick-up location was good but my experience with the online reservation system was very DISAPPOINTING!! I had reserved a vehicle at a location on my way to my destination. I received an email confirming the same. Although the website said that someone would call me the day before to confirm my reservation, no one did. I called the day before only to find out that U-Haul had changed my pick-up location to one that was in the opposite direction from my destination. I paid for extra miles and gas and lost about an hour of time because of this. I could have saved time and money if someone had called me to discuss the change of pick-up location.
