This location was not prepared for us to pick up the equipment. The place was dirty and freezing cold, and the person providing service was extremely hard to understand when he was speaking and did not give any instructions as English was not his language.
TERYNN AAt drop-off, I met Mosanio (??), who was very pleasant and made sure I had enough gas in the truck to qualify. He was very knowledgeable, knew the process, and gave excellent service. Thank you, Mosanio(??). Both U-Haul Representatives made this stressful time in our lives a little easier. I will tell this story every time I mention our move. Thank you U-Haul for a very economical transaction.
Stephen OWould be nice if we hear about the change of pick up location earlier then 3 pm on the day before moving, it's really last minute.

SHERRIE CClerk was friendly but did not help with hookup or anything else. He sort of shied me how to hook it up but I had to go find him to get the process started. Lot was messy, did not expect it to be in a gravel parking lot of a gas station. Also, I booked the trailer to be picked up in the city I was staying but at the last minute I was informed the trailer wasn’t there and I had to drive 3 hours round trip to a different city to pick up the equipment.
SHAUN CSignage maybe a little bigger as there were no other u haul trucks or trailers parked there so was not sure it was the actual drop off site.
CHRISTINE MAlthough the vehicle was clean, the engine light came on and a light that read check the gas cap. We called the company right away and spoke with a lady in Alabama. She said to carry on driving it unless the engine light started flashing. Although we checked the gas cap, the company didn’t seem concerned about that warning light either. We had a safe trip to our destination and back.
cori tI submitted a U-Haul rental 60 days prior for a 20-ft truck. I got a call that it was no longer available and I would have to drive to nanton, Alberta 35 minutes south of me to pick up a 15-ft truck and when I called customer service about it she gave me the option of canceling the U-Haul all together and nothing else. Also the location given was not the exact location.
Collin DCustomer service from the Pick up location was friendly and good. But very disappointed with the big picture of this reservation. I had it booked weeks in advance, had to drive from Calgary to Nanton or move another day. They called me within 24h prior to inform me of the changes. Leaving little to no room to book with someone else. Will definitely think twice next time.

David MNanton Vendor was nice, originally booked a trailer and someone form corporate called and said not available so we will get you into truck for the same price. The sales or booking individual failed to notify that there is a mileage charge and this added and additional 250.00 to our move. Very disappointing and feel the non-disclosure of the mileage charge was intentional just to appease me to keep the booking. Very poor corporate rating (not that anyone cares about customer service it seems), we will look elsewhere in the future and not book uhaul.
Shane TI can't find how to review my moving helpers here. But overall my experience was excellent!! And much praise for the Pulse Moving, they did a fantastic job and were so friendly and helpful. Would recommend these locations for U-Haul and especially the Movers! Great job!

Cody AIt was disappointing to be asked to pick up a truck in Nanton when I booked in Black Diamond, on the day when everything was lined up to move all of our household stuff into the truck. The truck also had a fuel gauge problem and instead of actually being 1/4 tank, was empty, so I had to deal with that right away. Otherwise the truck was great and the guy was easy to deal with at Nanton.

Wanda CHold down strap broke while hauling the vehicle causing it to come partially off the trailer. There was significant damage to the front of the vehicle and damage to the trailer. If the vehicle has broke free there quite possibly would have been injury or fatality to an innocent person on the highway.

terry lWhen the next customer reserves equipment don’t give it away to someone else. Actually have it there and give it to them. I drove 730km’s to pick up a 20’ truck and auto transport and there was no auto transport there for me when I arrived. Then I had to get a hotel that I didn’t plan on getting, I had to drive the next day to an alternate location 80km’s out of the way (160km’s both ways) so I burned extra fuel and lost extra time. All that uhaul did was give me the auto transport for free. They promised me that an agent would call me within two days and see what else they could do. But nobody ever called. I’ll never use uhaul or recommend them to anybody again.

Bill CThe unit was dirty inside and out. Had to clean all windows and mirrors before I could even drive it. Unit was dirty on the outside and covered in dead insects. Cab floor was also dirty with spilled cat food on the floor along with other debris. Cargo floor was also dirty, not swept out.

Stan IWithin 20 miles of travel the"check fuel cap: light on the vehicle came on. I talked to roadsie assistance and was allowed to continue. When fueling the vehicle about 12 litres of fuel was spilled. I felt that there was a leak in the top of the fuel tank. This leak could have created the "check fuel cap" problem.
