Hold down strap broke while hauling the vehicle causing it to come partially off the trailer. There was significant damage to the front of the vehicle and damage to the trailer. If the vehicle has broke free there quite possibly would have been injury or fatality to an innocent person on the highway.

terry L.When the next customer reserves equipment don't give it away to someone else. Actually have it there and give it to them. I drove 730km's to pick up a 20' truck and auto transport and there was no auto transport there for me when I arrived. Then I had to get a hotel that I didn't plan on getting, I had to drive the next day to an alternate location 80km's out of the way (160km's both ways) so I burned extra fuel and lost extra time. All that uhaul did was give me the auto transport for free. They promised me that an agent would call me within two days and see what else they could do. But nobody ever called. I'll never use uhaul or recommend them to anybody again.
