1. It took me over 2 hours to rent a tow doly 2. The straps to hold the tires was trashed and I had to use my own tie downs to make sure that the vehicle attached to the tow doly was secure. 3. The lady on the phone would NOT listen - only followed a script - and did NOT know what she was doing. 4. The 4th person I finally got to speak to was able to do some work arounds to get past the system.

Drop off was worse than pick up. The fellow could not answer my questions either because he did not understand the language (you know the look) or he had no authority to answer. I was in the dark. Cover your butt. That’s the caution I would convey here. Take pictures and call U-Haul directly. Representatives seem to be unhelpful.
Rochelle BThe agent at the location told us we could not drop off in Okotoks, even though we had reserved the unit online with an Okotoks drop off. The agent said that instead of dropping off in Okotoks we had to drop off in high river. When I got to high river to drop off as per the Nanton agents instructions. I was informed I couldn’t drop off in High river and in fact had to go back to Okotoks. However I was not able to go back to Okotoks because I had already made plans to stay in high river. I had to call the U-Haul headquarters and fight with the agent for 30 min to get permission to finally drop off in high river.
Ethan LThe person didn’t speak clear English. That place had no tools to change a ball. We asked what size ball, when we got there it was wrong. Wanted help lifting the trailer onto the hitch. Just very poor representation.
angie cWhen I picked up the unit, it was very dirty on the outside, had the Check Engine light on and was only half full of fuel. When I informed the attendant, his response was "what can we do". Would be nice to get a clean vehicle with a full tank of gas and properly serviced so there is no Check Engine light on.
