There was only one dolly instead of the two I ordered and the one I was given was bent down the center and impossible to use. Also, the customer service was not good (no eye contact, no willingness to help, not friendly or welcoming). Finally, I was supposed to get the usual in San Rafael and found out the day before I had to drive to napa instead because there weren't anymore trucks in San Rafael

1. There needs to be more transparency about the fact that you are given a truck without any gas. I almost got stranded before I realized. 2. I tried calling this location back about this issue when they proceeded to not pick up any of the 10 calls I made at different times. There is also no voicemail so it just rings forever. 3. There is a lock on the back but it does not come with a key.. if there was a charge for this then I should have been notified of its possibility. 4. The attendant was very impatient and had an attitude, customer service needs to be improved

The guy was late showing up when I was supposed to pick it up at 9:00. I had to call his cellphone which is in a price of paper on the window. I was supposed to drop it off at 9:00 which is when the open and waited til 9:30. The guy working at the gas station told me he gets there around 9:00 or 9:30. The hours are 9:00 so that is bad business in my opinion. I don't think the guy who I am assuming even knows what customer service is. The truck was also super dirty. I though maybe they wiped stuff down between rentals maybe with covid going on. UHAUL is great but this location on Imola in Napa is horrible. I will never go back there.

If I had any complaints it would be that I had to drive 1.5hrs to pick up 1.5hrs back to my place, load the truck that I didn't realize didn't have a ramp and then drive right past the pickup location to get going on my 11hr drive to my destination. Definitely added 3 hrs to my trip plus tolls on the bay bridge and fuel. Besides that everything else was great. I would still recommend to anyone.

when I booked the truck with a ramp, I explained that I was coordinating that time with paid help to assist w/ move. Truck was unavailable and I had the help arriving at the house shortly. A short time later another truck was returned which I was told was identical. We got to the house and there was no ramp. We called and they said all that size truck never comes with a ramp. The lady that met us was very nice very friendly and told us we could just have the truck all the way through Friday evening at closing. When we returned it, we were charged an additional day because supposedly I was to have it back at the time I took it out. That was not explain to me and I felt the lady was doing this to help offset the bad experience we had. Unfortunately it made it twice as bad because the proprietor did not honor her offer. Supposedly she won't be back for 21 days. I had also booked another truck for next week, but because of the bad experience I canceled. I will work something else out.

If you are trying to chose between the two U haul pick up locations in Napa, go with this one. The service is quick, friendly, and efficient. You won't regret it.

I did the order online to reserve a truck you guys said 100% guaranteed that it will be ready. I got there the truck was not ready I had a crew ready to work however I had to pay them 20 minutes to do nothing because we're waiting for a truck very unacceptable. U-Haul has usually been very good in the past but this is the first time I have had a disappointing experience. Please go back to your old ways cause they were the best don't know why your services have went down recently.

This truck was very dirty. Clearly no surface was touched or cleansed considering there was dust and dirt on all surfaces. I had to clean the truck myself just to make sure Covid was not present.

Have supplies such ads blankets which I reserved and paid for but did not receive. The AC was not working in the truck I was renting to drive 7 hours in 100 plus degree weather and despite reserving and paying for packing blankets that had none. It took almost 2 hours for a repair person to arrive, they re-charged the AC it worked on my way back to load my stuff and the next am nothing worked again. I was forced to drive all the way to OR with no AC with temps at times as high as 106 degrees.

The person working the counter called someone with a reservation at 11 and said his ‘truck wasn't available until 12:30/1' and gave it to another man to take to another city. That's SO wrong. We waited in line for over 30m while he did it, I was late picking up my truck and late to my destination because of this. He also wasn't wearing a mask most of the time and it made for an extremely uncomfortable wait.

We reserved the truck for a Petaluma location. Had to drive an hour to pick this up. We also reserved a dolly... this site was unaware of that need and did not have one available for us. Not their fault but the reservation system is flawed.

Nothing, the person who gave me the truck was extremely helpful and accomodating, he called me to set up everything so i could have the truck at the time i needed for no extra charge, i will be coming back if i need to use the service again!

She was very helpful. And could not believe that the Sacramento personnel would attach the trailer in such a way. She accepted the trailer at that location because she did not want further damage to be caused to the bumper. I appreciated her taking in the trailer at that location even though that location does not take in trailers.

My bill was $180 you charged me $6800 which emptied my account and I couldn't pay my mortgage. Your ineptness caused me endless pain while your phone line simply shut me down when I tried to report the problem, no matter which element of service I chose on your phone system it simply said there's a problem and hung up. BTW perhaps a simple algorithm could help here, if the rental was out for just 4 hours and racked up 16000 miles meaning I travelled 4000 miles per hour maybe flag it ?? Or at least call the Guinness book of records!

Clean the windshield and rear-view mirrors. Fill the reservoir with fluid. The truck was mechanically strong and drove well, but the windows and mirrors were dirty enough to be dangerous.

Sales clerk was respectful and kind to me. He took care to wear his covid 19 mask correctly. I'm 69 1/2 years old; so this is very important for my safety. When I returned the van, he was once again kind to me. He could tell I was tired. Thank you very much for your professionalism.

May be less about the Napa Gas location. Originally I was scheduled to pick up my 15' truck in Richmond CA. the evening before pickup I got a call saying there was no 15' truck anywhere in the area and I had to drive 1 hr away to Napa to pick up the truck. My scheduled pickup in Richmond was for 730am. The Napa gas location didnt open until 9am, and even then the owner didnt show up and open until 915am. Losing all of this time completely altered my moving plans.

I had changed my reservation with a customer service rep via phone from American Canyon to Napa, and the change never went through the system to either shop. Both were as accommodating as possible, but if the stress of not having reservations in place and equipment available could have been avoided, this would have been much better. Thank you!

Fill Gas tanks full. It's an inconvenience to drive away with a 1/4 tank just to fill it up a few miles later. Especially for the bigger trucks. Thank you.

The efficiency, friendliness, and helpfulness of the staff at the Napa - West Imola Avenue location make the pick up and drop off of the rentals a good experience. The website made for a quick and very user-friendly reservation of the rental, and the condition of the rental was very much as described.

I was wanting a PU but when I went on line to reserve it, it showed the Napa location had one, but when I clicked to reserve it, it would kick me to a Fairfield location. I thought something was wrong with the site. The nice lady at the Napa store explained what happened, but it would have been nice if there was the information on the site. Overall, I got a bigger vehicle for the same price, and it was an easy pick-up and drop off.

The website states this location closes at 7pm. However, I was then called the day of the rental and told my 6:30pm rental was after their closing time of 6pm, but that I could pick it up a little earlier. After picking up the vehicle at 5:39pm, I received a message saying it was owed back at 5:30pm. I specifically chose the 6:30pm time frame because there was a time constraint for getting back. Making me have to return the vehicle by 5:30pm (instead of closing, i.e. 6pm) was having a mistake on U-Haul's end negatively affect a costumer. That shouldn't happen. I won't be using this location again and will seriously reconsider using U-Haul in the future.

I requested a mobile pickup which was then unavailable upon my arrival. The website told me that the office opened at 9:30. The employee did not arrive until 10:15. He was an older gentleman with glasses and was incredibly rude and non apologetic for my waiting there for over an hour. I will never use this location again and was incredibly disappointed. The facility is filthy and the staff member was completely apathetic.

This location has the worst customer service of any UHaul dealer I've rented from (I rent 7-10 trucks a year between Uhaul and Penske). Uhaul reps are rude, I've been charged cleaning fees for spotless returns, and the tank gauge is always off (always lower than indicated on the app).
