I have rented U-Haul equipment many times in the past from Mr. Kwiks Services in Naperville and U-Haul of Fox Valley in Aurora. Check out and check in process at this location was approximately THREE times as long as at a "Real" U-Haul location. This location had 4 box trucks available for rent and NO moving pads. The truck I rented had a full tank of gas but the "box" was filthy! A prior renter had clearly used it to move landscaping materials and I had to sweep out a bucket full of dirt, leaves and sticks before I could load anything into it. This location is NOT worthy of being associated with the U-Haul brand!!!!!!Mitchell M.

Your fucking drop-off app doesn't fucking work!!! After taking pictures of the odometer in the app it would not load them into the system and I could not use your stupid contactless drop-off system. Hire yourself an adequate design and development team that makes sure your stupid app works properly or don't promote it all! Everything on your website when you go to the drop-off rental equipment section directs you to use the app. This is so ridiculous when the app doesn't fucking work. I was so frustrated trying to get the dumb app to work and dealing with the guy working the Naperville Marathon store who came out to see what was taking so long and was trying to tell me the opposite of what your website directs and get me to just check it in with him, that I accidently locked the keys in the car. Then using the U-Haul help in the app took nearly THREE FUCKING HOURS just to get someone to come jimmy the door open. So ridiculous. I will reiterate what I said in my pick-up review. I WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND UHAUL EVER AGAIN. Both drop off and pick up were a fucking nightmare. This company is being run my morons who are probably more concerned with stock buy backs and corporate greed than actually running a company properly and providing good customer service. The online check out and check in was difficult. Technology and process of using the app needs to be majorally updated. Very glitchy and inefficient. Had to talk with CS. Taking picture of dashboard didn't work. Had to rely on gas station attendant to check van back in.Carrie B.
Owner was calling me before my reservation time was done multiple times. He didn't even know how to connect the trailer to the truck. When returned, he told me I needed to pay for two days even though I was still an hour ahead of my 24 hr rental. Service was horrible. Will not recommend at all!!!! Scammer on top of that. The inside of the truck was covered in some kind of dirt/dust. The bottom of the furniture and boxes was covered in it and when placed on the floor/carpet in the house when moving in made marks everywhere. Very very disappointed.Ashley D.

Awful person at the front desk. Got yelled at for bringing my van her when it was the location given to me. I had to drive to another location because this man was saying that he's not taking the van and there's no way in hell he's taking it and he doesn't care if this is the location given to me because that's not what's in his computer. I did the mobile check-in but it still asked for additional verification info; provide alternate phone number, provide employer phone number. It does not make sense needing these info after I provided my picture and driver's license pictures. Don't forget to leave a key in the box for night pickups. If you forget the key, don't send the customer 4 towns away to pick up a truck. If you do this to a customer, offer some form of compensation for the terrible experience U-Haul has caused to the customer.Gary B.

UHaul scammed from this nonprofit because we were never told a truck that size had no ramp. The equipment we need to move is not bulky, so we don't need a bigger truck, but it's heavy so we cannot load it unload without a ramp. We moved nothing. Our time and money was wasted. My reservation was from 6PM. I reached there few minutes earlier and the representative wanted to charge me double the amount of receipt. When I asked for explanation he rudely replied he is only the third party. When I didn't receive a satisfactory answer I called UHaul; after waiting for 15 minutes I was told it's becos few minutes early. Anyway, by then it was past six and the computer was charging correct amount. The representative was very rude and belligerent and had no knowledge. The trailer itself was dirty with sand and other rubbish inside. Not a good experience. I have rented from UHaul before and always had good service. I hope this was an exception.Mohammed S.

I tried to return the van at approx 8:00 PM on Wednesday, but the clerk told me I had it until 7:00 AM Thursday, so I could keep it till then. I assume he was misinformed, but this cost me an extra day's rental charges. YOU NEED TO CLEARLY TELL THE CUSTOMERS WHEN THE VEHICLE IS DUE BACK. The documents are emailed, NO PHYSICAL COPY WAS GIVEN, and when the customer is busy moving, he/she doesn't have time to read the email! Hence. the problem.Wesley S.
Absolutely the best UHaul experience we have ever had. Minor request would be to clean the inside cab of the van occasionally (not even if after each use). It was pretty smelly and we had to cover the seats with cloth because they were so filled with stuff. But the back of the van was clean and it was in great shape overall. We will return!!GWENN L.

Have someone there who works for uhaul to help with the service. The only people there were a gas station clerk and car mechanic, neither of which worked for uhaul. No one was there to assist with hooking up the trailer and we had to ask the mechanic for help. Luckily he was nice and assisted us.Jacob H.

Seemed to be some issues with the U-Haul software the rental location was using but the attendant did not want to hold me up and just let me go without everything being perfect with the paperwork. Tank was full at pickup and the van ran well (only had 11,000 miles so it was in pretty good shape. Only issue I had was all the spaces were taken when I came back with the van so I had to park it in an odd spot. Other than that, all good.Michael V.
After moving a different location was preferred. I tried changing my location and was on hold for over two hours and was then told I had to drop off at original location. This does not make sense that I am not able to change drop off location. The customer service at this location was efficient and friendly. BUT I am VERY unhappy with UHaul right now. The original location I had scheduled a month in advance was not open at my scheduled pick up time. I didn't even see a truck available on sight! I received no notification for changes in my reservation. I called customer service and was on hold back and forth for AN HOUR!! I was hung up on twice and spoke to FOUR different people. I almost didn't have a truck in my moving day!! This was turning into a disaster. I needed a truck THAT DAY! Fortunately, you have a customer service person David who was actually willing to help me. And he did. If it wasn't for this guy I probably would not have had a truck because of your other incompetent customer service people.
