Jean SWe asked about dropping off at a different location and the man said it would be fine. Then I get an additional charge of over 300.00. If they told me it would be so much for an additional charge I would have taken the extra time to return it to them. Very poor explanation and I may report this to the Better Business for not telling us this. Not at all happy
Stephen NBefore taking the truck off the lot, my estimated time was 3 hours. It was brought back in 2. My estimated travel was 60 miles. I traveled 40. Was still charged for 3 hours and 60 miles. Nothing was prorated for accuracy and I handed over the truck keys then was told my rental was complete. Never signed any paperwork. Was sent a receipt via email with a clear line for signature. I'll never use this location ever again. Please steer clear of this UHaul location unless you want to be overcharged.

Tim LU haul used to be unlimited miles. Now they charge u for fuel, fee for the day and miles. 3 charges, which is messed up

Terry GThe 15' truck I rented was clean. The 15' truck that I rented was extremely poorly maintained. The transmission was shot-to-hell and had very great difficulty shifting in the higher gear range. The whole truck jumped violently when I put it into gear... either forward or reverse. That thing needs to be taken back into the shop and given a very thorough mechanical repair or rebuild sequence.

Kenneth MThe man at the counter was trying his best but wanted us to back in the uhaul next to a passenger vehicle and another uhaul vs him backing it in himself. He was operating a gas station, convenience store, and uhaul station so he was stretched thin. Overall OK but the expectation of customer taking liability of the uhaul backing it in a small parking lot in between vehicles in unreasonable. Make the parking area larger so the risk of hitting something is reduced if that should be the norm.

KENNETH BThe man checking in my vehicle on return was one of the rudest humans I have encountered in a long time. He treated us like we were dirt, yelling at us for no reason other than trying to feel superior. I will never use uhaul again or a Marathon gas station as they were the owners of both businesses.

Leonard FPicking up the uhaul was fine. I did not appreciate being heckled when I returned the uhaul. The representative was trying to nickel and dime me for scratches and dents that were ALREADY on the uhaul. The uhaul was not brand new to begin with. If it wasn’t for the unpleasant return of the uhaul I would’ve given this place 5 stars, but the heckling and trying to charge me for damage that I DIDN’T cause was unnecessary.

John LWe used Naperville Marathon U-Haul, which is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., for a local move. The price was good and the managers were very helpful in hooking up, and later unhooking, the unit from our Jeep, as well as in showing how everything worked. Since the weather was nice, they recommended we rent an open top trailer because these have a ramp, which made loading and unloading significantly easier. I highly recommend this U-Haul dealership.
