erest hLocation has terrible service, uploading pictures took forever. recomend an option for lower quality images to improve upload time. also my moving pads and furniture dolley i ordered and was charged for were not there. you stole from me u haul
Brendan CMy recent experience with U-Haul was incredibly disappointing. I intentionally selected a location with in-person pickup to avoid issues I’ve had in the past with the application. However, I was relocated to a different location that required digital pickup, and the process was a nightmare. Constant technological glitches delayed my rental, causing unnecessary frustration and wasted time. To make matters worse, the recorded fuel level was incorrect, forcing me to spend extra money on fuel that I shouldn’t have needed to. The truck itself was in terrible condition—most notably, the windshield wipers were in desperate need of replacement, making visibility during rain very unsafe. Additionally, the storage area of the truck was filthy, and I had to spend 30 minutes cleaning it out before I could even begin my move. Adding insult to injury, I paid for a dozen moving blankets, only to find they were not included in the truck. This forced me to scramble and spend a significant amount of money to find alternative ways to protect my belongings. Despite reaching out to U-Haul, I am still waiting for reimbursement. This entire experience was incredibly frustrating and well below any reasonable standard of service. I would not recommend U-Haul based on this experience and hope they make improvements to their processes and quality of equipment for future customers.

Maria DI made a trip to the location the day before I intended to pick up the truck to confirm my reservation. There was no staff on site despite it being within the published hours. I figured that perhaps if I made a reservation online there would be someone there when I arrived to pickup the truck. But there was not. At no point during my research of the location or placing the reservation did Uhaul or the site indicate that rentals had to be done as self serve via the app. The process wasn't impossible but it wasn't straight forward either. If self service is the future of Uhaul I am glad I won't be needing to rent trucks much more if at all. It is time for US companies to demonstrate their loyalty to this country and provide jobs, not merely maximizing profit for the executives and investors. Similar to climate change, most people will not realize how damaging it was and is that US companies have shipped jobs overseas since the 1980's.

WILLIAM FMake sure that the app is working properly if you aren't going to be present. The owner of the facility never showed up. His phone went straight to voice mail with a full storage. There was no way to get hold of the owner. We had to call a different facility to get the combination to the lock that accessed the keys. What a fiasco it was to rent the truck. It took us an extra 90 minutes to get on the road. We missed our appointment down south by 30 minutes. My wife got so stressed out she threw up. I may rent from U-haul again but I will not rent in Yulee.

David TNo attendant on duty. Never got a contract or someone to verify the fuel. No moving supplies so I had to travel 15 miles to get the blankets and furniture dolly U-Haul is trying to charge me an extra $15 for fuel when I left the tank at 1/2 like I got it.
brad kThis location was turkey just a drop off. No office or build, self park truck and a lock box for the truck key. We arrived after hours and never saw anyone. That said had no issues.

Catherine LMy boat trailer was stolen from the site and the owner rented the spot my trailer was in for about 5 months until I found out the trailer was gone. I was still charged rent during this time. Owner attempted to charge me rent after I had "officially" left the facility- I had to call and get the charge reversed. I don't think there is much in the way of security protocols there. I was told this is at least the second time something like this type of theft has occurred.

Virginia DDropped off a trailer at this location, I was told by uhaul representative to call location upon arrival; I did and operator of location answered and stated that he acknowledged I was there would "check in trailer later". 11 days later I received a final bill with a charge of 8 extra days on it. unacceptable--I have photographic evidence with time stamp that I returned trailer to location at due date.

David BOur rez was for a 10ftr one way to Naples at The econo lodge in Kingsland,GA. Following the paperwork almost completed the clerk declares the assigned truck could not be used as a one way to Naples! HUH? She makes a call and finds us a new rez in Yulee,FL. Off we go the Nassau r/v for our 3pm rez, get there at 2:30 and it's CLOSED! Called number on wall,get a guy whose says he trying to get someone to come and says will call back if not. 3:00, no call but get new rez for St Mary, GA. I phone first to wich lady says " no 10ftr but free upgrade to 16ftr" HUH! I don't want that monster! We call Jax uhaul traffic, get Bettie (only bright spot in our entire uhaul experience)who searches for 10ftr for us. We also call guy from Nassau rv who says we can get the truck at 9am the next day. Bettie gets back on fone, states no 10ftr available, we tell her give us Nassau at 9am and get it. Problems continue cuz our trip was delayed a day, movers canceled at our expense, and to add insult to injury the guy at Nassau arrives at 9:20 , drives right by us like we're two dopes, never acknowledged us, enters the facility, begins to empty uhal drop box when I ask him why he's so ignorant that he knows who we are? That we've been waiting patiently , and our service the day before sucked and he should be taking care of us immediately first and foremost! Horrible Uhaul experience of a lifetime and will try my best to never rent anything from uhaul again! Will indeed tell everyone I know about this experience.
EDWARD MWhen we picked up the smaller truck it was definitely an odor in the back. Couldn’t tell what it hard last but it definitely had a smell. Lysol seem to do the trick. The cab of the truck was clean. They also had a dolly available that he let me rent since the first place that I picked up a truck did not have any. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Diane MI do not understand that U-Haul would charge me a ridiculous amount of $280 to return it to a different location. If I had known they were going to charge me that much money I would’ve never returned it to another place I would’ve taken it back to where I originally got it please someone call me about this Diane 610 698-9710. I want to talk to somebody about this.

Steve J | Overall ExperienceCommunication was poor. Cellular service poor at location that made it impossible to " pick up truck " . Lucky for us Jaylene from a nearby pickup point saved the day. Without Jaylene, truck pick up may not have happened and we reserved the truck more than a week in advance. No call to inform us that our truck that we reserved was not available. Help line did find us a truck and did their job. Not very helpful beyond finding us the truck. Without more detail, it was not a good experience. We did get a truck and are thankful for the folks that helped with that. Could all have been handled better.

Kirk HI reserved a truck and when I showed up they had given it away. And I returned the truck a hour earlier then I had to and still got charged a $20 late fee. This place is joke. I will be using someone else besides U haul next time.
Pat HOnline rented a truck to pick up purchased furniture and it was super easy. Mobile process is flawless.
ANNETTE LRemove this location, nobody was there to help me check in so I had to call a number which I then got a call from a different number which was someone’s cell number in regards to assistance checking in to get the Uhaul. I got charged also for a cleaning charge even though I only used the uhaul for 4 items and swept out the bed.

I had been in her office probably 5 times in the last month making sure we were ready. i would recomend her time and time again. I just hate I will be not be in her area help her by word of mouth.

Henry H | Overall ExperienceHorrible. Uhaul rerouted us to this location but did not update us to 24/7 pickup. It took 2 hours on hold and being transfered to get it sorted out. Once we returned it we were emailed 3 days later that we didn't return the truck and when we called to correct it they said the location was closed because of no manager. Took them over a week to correct it. Overall bad experience.

david sU-Haul corporate cancelled my reservation apparently due to my arrival at the site at 9:15 am (reservation was for 8am and I had completed everything online except for the pickup by 8am) . So when I arrived the reservation said it had expired. Fortunately, there was a lady at the site who was very helpful in setting it up again. U-Haul corporate failed me, local agent was excellent.
Leonard MI took almost 1/2 hour to Get approved. They tried to charge me extra for gas.
Shameika TYour on-line checkin process took over three hours t complete and totally not user friendly. I will probably not rent from U-Haul again.
