I was returning a trailer a day early and I was made to feel like I was a problem for doing so, I had planned on returning the trailer to the local dealer that was in the zip code of my destination but for some reason my contract stated I needed to return it to another dealer 20 miles away from where I was already. Not having room for vehicles trailers etc isn't the customers fault and they shouldn't be made to feel as if it is. I wasn't upset or anything I just asked (seeing as how their lot was full) if I could drop it outside the gate where there was already a trailer. I was basically told I needed to return the trailer to another dealer. After making no effort to resolve the issue and I wasn't towing this trailer another 40 miles to drop it somewhere else I was getting frustrated as this was the second dealer I had been to that afternoon to return a piece of equipment. Since no one was providing any other options or even trying to look for a place to put the unit I said look either tell me where you want it parked or I'm going to take it over by the road just by your gate and drop it. Then I'll call Uhaul and tell them where it is and if someone steals it by tomorrow morning so be it, just file the claim on the extra insurance I took out. Once they realized I was serious that's when they started trying to find a place to put it. I wasn't trying to be complicated at all. I got done a day early and most companies would want to get an extra day of rent on a piece of equipment. I just don't think I should be told I need to go to yet a third dealership in one day just to give you back your equipment. None the less it's over and in the big scheme of life it's not even that important. However I assure you that I will always take the extra insurance from here on out and if this ever happens again you can pick your equipment up on the side of road somewhere. I probably wouldn't have had such a negative reaction to this experience if it hadn't been for the extreme contrast to the guy who went well out of his way to help me at the pick up location.

I had to drop off at night at the gas station next door because the gates were chained. The app would not allow me to check in the equipment, shutting down and going back to start the process several times. I called the location the following morning and they were closed. When I called the previous day about dropping the Uhaul after hours I was not informed of a key drop off location, I was instructed to o point it the keys in the visor. The man that answered the phone was talking to another person the whole time I was on the phone and acted like my questions were absurd. I could not change my drop off location to another that would've been easier to park the truck at on the app and I stayed on hold for over 20 minutes when I tried to call.

So far I have been charged 4 times for the same rental. Can not get a hold of Uhaul for help . every time icall the place I rented it from I get charged again. So far I have no idea how I am going to get my money back and to get Uhaul.to stop chatlrging my card every hour ezcept to file fraud charges and I really dont feel like getting in to all that... But I have to get the charges to stop somehow

It's against the law in NC, but there was a sign on the door discouraging masks. It said NOT required here and no employees wore any and no customers standing in line. Trucks were not sanitized. They were just swept by children. This place is dangerous and illegal in the Covid-19 era. No questions or instructions offered about the equipment.

Nathan's Body Shop was great - Alicia went above and beyond with customers service. Truck was great - only issue was truck smelled Doggie from previous renter but bearable. Thanks Alicia, Nathan's Autobody and Uhaul for making our mom so much easier!!

I had a great experience with Ali that reserved the truck for me. She was exceptional! The box truck, however, was filthy. It smelled bad. was dirty inside. Pet hair everywhere. Smelled like an animal. I drove 3.5 hours in that filth. Was not happy but had no other choice as I needed that particular truck.

This was the best large rental truck I have ever rented!!! It was your new Ford triton V10 gas truck. It was the smoothest ride and had power to climb those big hills. The seats were very comfortable which made the driving less stressful. Thank you for adding these trucks to your fleet as I am now a U-Haul believer and customer forever!!

I would NEVER rent at this location...they did not have any accessories I needed, they let me leave w/o taillites or brake lites, and the trailer was faulty and required me to have my own mechanic repair it! Not to mention they overcharged me by 2 days and I had to deal w/ U-Haul to get that sorted out! Stay away!!

I was scheduled to return my rental to Cashiers NC. With no prior notice, I was denied. I was told I had to return it to Nathan's in Franklin NC, an hour away. Nathan's is filthy. I then had to secure a ride back to my new house from a neighbor.

I do not have an issue with Nathan's at all - they were GREAT. I DO have an issue with Uhaul.com What a mess from the moment we went to pick up the truck. I filled out the online form to rent the truck (which we have done many times) I downloaded the app for pickup (which we have done previously). I arrived at the location at 8:01 to pick up the truck and logged into the app and it said I could not pick up the truck until 7:00 AM. It was 8:01...I called 1800GoUhaul...and was told it was set on Arizona Time - so they reset it for 8:15 - I went back in at 8:10 and the app said I could not pick up the truck until 7:15 AM - I called back and explained this to the next representative. She told me to wait until 8:15 and try again. I tried again at 8:16 - guess what? No luck again - I called a third time - a new representative told me to shut down the app and browser and call back if it didn't work again. I did that - even shut my phone off completely. Still no luck. I called a 4th time and the representative immediately sent me to Truck Share - I was on hold for 8 minutes (at least) and got the next representative that told me that we would not have a truck due to we were not signed in for truckshare. AND we should have been told that on the first phone call. Meanwhile I had 8 people waiting at my house to help with the move. Now it is 8:43 - and I am crying - he is very sympathetic and puts me in touch with "local" uhaul. I started to drive to find any open uhaul location near me and the 5th representative found one that was open and could rent a truck - Nathan's. Again - Nathan's was great - got us in and out in not time to begin the moving process.

U-Haul changed both my pickup location and drop off location. The contract for for a drop off in Cashiers NC. AFTER I picked up the vehicle, UHAUL changed the drop off location to a city 32 miles from my destination and your customer service department was completely worthless to assist me with a better solution. I will be posting a "bait and switch" review on every social media platform available in the next few days, and will use this example as the worst customer service experience next week when I address our 450+ real estate agents in conference.

The floorboard of the drivers and passengers side was muddy (dried). The truck ran well. The cargo area was slightly dirty.

Rented equipment at 12 noon, kept it an additional day, filled with gas took to return location, they could check it in on their phone, said they would so it on the computer. I asked if I would be charged 1 day or 2 days, he stated 1 and ended up charging me for 2 extra days.

This lot was disorganized and no one was there to remove the trailer from my truck. Had it not been for help from the neighboring business, I would not have been able to drop off. A vote of excellence to the shop in West Monroe, LA who replaced a flat tire on the trailer in less than 15 minutes.

Trailer was supposed to be at Nathans in Sylva. They didn't have it and sent us to Franklin. Franklin had a trailer that someone had dropped off the night before. Otherwise no trailer would be available in that part of North Carolina. After renting approximately 30 of these trailers from U-Haul, this will be the last one.

I went to the P/U location 3 days before I needed to get the trailer. I ordered the unit for the date I needed it without an issue, The Day I ordered the trl. I got an email from UHaul advising me it was cnx. I gave all the info requested and NO ONE told me that the reason was my car was to wide. I went back to the ordered location and they were unaware of a problem. I was then told to go 50 mi. away to get my equipment. We did get a different unit that worked for the same price but my MPG went WAY DOWN. I was unhappy about it but all ended well.

Sign on the door said "death in the Family" I called for alternative pick up person, none given, very rude and hung up on me. I too have a schedule and people waiting. When you run a business you should have alternatives when emergencies arrive. Spoke to owner Nathan, whom offered no solutions, was arrogant and rude and also hung up on me with no solutions. Called Uhaul 800 #, was told there actually was a truck available back at Nathans and I was to go and pick it up. Had to call my ride back, go to new location 20 min away. The contact at the pick up also had a poor attitude, was rude and unpleasant to deal with overall. I would not recommend using this location in Franklin or Sylva NC for any Uhaul business.

Nathans was great but the way I finally got with your method of assigning a pick up location really needs to improve for me to use Uhaul again. I originally selected Cashiers for pick up. Then you switched me to Silva, NC and then at the last second you changed me to Franklin. I had also set up another pick up in Clayton, GA that you moved me to Clarksville, GA another 30 miles down the road. Not sure how you do what you do from state to state but Franklin, NC was the closest by far, 40 minutes from my home in Cashiers, NC rather than1 hr and 30 minutes to Clarksville, GA.

We were charged for 2 rentals at $29.95 each when we only rented for 1 day. We picked up at 9:00 am on 8/23/19 and returned at 6 pm on 8/23/19 ( the same day) Our recent states we picked up on 8/23/19 at 6:14 am and returned on 8/24/19 at 6:06 am. We were also doubled charged for SafeMove. It was suppose to be $14, we were charged $28. We will go back to the rental location today to have this resolved, however the man that helped us on 8/23/19 was not knowledgeable of how to process the rental, resulting in our actual release time of the truck was 9:30am instead of our requested 9:00 am.
