Next time, please put in the correct customer information instead of using a random customer's name, number, address and phone number to book a reservation for someone else. At the VERY least, fix it when the customer whom you falsely used their information calls and requests to be removed from a rental agreement 600 miles away that they had nothing to do with.Vince C.
I called and explained I was detained by no fault of my own, I arrived @ 315 pm went in to find out exactly my bill, and let them know I was returning the transporter, i was there @ 42 minutes and hadnt seen a representative or person for that matter however in a room close by there was someone talker to another so i left, ive used this place before and they were perfect, probably an isolated thing yet i did get charged the 20 dollars for after hours return which got me a little upset but it is what it isRICKY Q.

The return process is a huge pain in the butt. I jumped thru hoops for 30 minutes trying to return truck after they closed. On my account it absolutely would NOT recognize my location even tho location was on. No one would answer the phone. I wasn't sure what to do so I left the keys under the pass seat and texted uhaul. Then I'm charged ANOTHER 10 bucks to get a truck I had to pay a enormous price for a one way 250 mile trip. Way way way overpriced but I had no other optionsKeith E.
Everything was good. Trailer was ready when I arrived, paperwork was completed quickly and the associate helped get the trailer hooked up quickly so I could be on my way.EDWARD B.
It was confusing when I drove up because it is a collision repair shop and I didn't know where to park the truck. If possible, it would be nice to have a sign clearly showing where to go for drop off. Also the office secretary was doing two jobs with the collision shop and Uhaul Other than that, the truck did well and the experience was very good.Ronald H.

The hydraulic jack that lifted the trailer up and down, was diagonal on the trailer instead of up and down which made it almost impossible to use once we actually got the car on the trailer. And then after we literally had to use a floor jack to jack up the trailer off of the Reese hitch, because the hydraulic jack did not want to work.CHASTITY G.

I've been here to drop off a month ago. Young lady was right there to help and had us on our way. Gentleman on Monday was cranky, unhelpful and complaining to a U-Haul driver that it wasn't worth it. He made me feel unwanted questioning if I was scheduled to drop it off. I reported that the back tire was nearly flat but when we got up that morning and none of the air pumps we stopped at worked. With that we couldn't take one piece of wood to the landfill. He said he'd have to charge me to clean the trailer. Jerk is the best description for this guy. Not a good representative of the company. Perhaps just having a bad morning but I don't think that was it. He's the first rude person I've met in Franklin.JULIE M.

All the owner did was complain that he had to stop work to do the u-haul thing. Sent me down the road to another lot to make pick up unsupervised. He did not know what I picked up. No paper work. No explanation. I was hundreds of miles away before I recieved the email docs. Never once was I told of a designated drop off point which resulted in a drop not authorized and that owner (Tim's muffler shop) did not care to tell me that I was in the wrong location, did not get up from his comfy chair to look. Told me to drop it and he would send email confirmation. It never came. 2 days later I have to pick unit up and deliver to another address. I have used u haul many times. This was totally unsatisfactory to the point I will seek other companies before I deal with u haul again.DAVID A.

This was the 2nd pick up location. The first one, on Main Street did not have the equipment as reserved, we're less than helpful, told me to go get the accessories at an auto parts store and never once stopped eating or got off their rear ends to help . I left and went to Nathan's.. 100% difference! Kind, eager to help, explained everything and I was in and out in 15 minutes. The people at Nathan's deserve a 5 star rating, the first location owes me stars for wasting my time.LAUREL L.

Again this is not where we were supposed to drop off the trailer according to our reservation. We were supposed to drop it in one location, but instead were told we had to call Uhaul to find out where to drop it. Uhaul said the reserved location wasn't accepting trailers, and we had to take it about 30 minutes out of the way (one way). I asked on the phone if this location had 24 hour drop off and was told yes, but in fact they did not and we had to go back the next morning. The app wouldn't work for self check-in, but I don't seem to have been charged for them checking it in. This was my first Uhaul experience and I hope it was my last. I will seek alternatives in the future. It seems Uhaul does not honor reservation places, but instead uses customers to move their equipment around for them.Roger J.

I was returning a trailer a day early and I was made to feel like I was a problem for doing so, I had planned on returning the trailer to the local dealer that was in the zip code of my destination but for some reason my contract stated I needed to return it to another dealer 20 miles away from where I was already. Not having room for vehicles trailers etc isn't the customers fault and they shouldn't be made to feel as if it is. I wasn't upset or anything I just asked (seeing as how their lot was full) if I could drop it outside the gate where there was already a trailer. I was basically told I needed to return the trailer to another dealer. After making no effort to resolve the issue and I wasn't towing this trailer another 40 miles to drop it somewhere else I was getting frustrated as this was the second dealer I had been to that afternoon to return a piece of equipment. Since no one was providing any other options or even trying to look for a place to put the unit I said look either tell me where you want it parked or I'm going to take it over by the road just by your gate and drop it. Then I'll call Uhaul and tell them where it is and if someone steals it by tomorrow morning so be it, just file the claim on the extra insurance I took out. Once they realized I was serious that's when they started trying to find a place to put it. I wasn't trying to be complicated at all. I got done a day early and most companies would want to get an extra day of rent on a piece of equipment. I just don't think I should be told I need to go to yet a third dealership in one day just to give you back your equipment. None the less it's over and in the big scheme of life it's not even that important. However I assure you that I will always take the extra insurance from here on out and if this ever happens again you can pick your equipment up on the side of road somewhere. I probably wouldn't have had such a negative reaction to this experience if it hadn't been for the extreme contrast to the guy who went well out of his way to help me at the pick up location.Darren W.
I had to drop off at night at the gas station next door because the gates were chained. The app would not allow me to check in the equipment, shutting down and going back to start the process several times. I called the location the following morning and they were closed. When I called the previous day about dropping the Uhaul after hours I was not informed of a key drop off location, I was instructed to o point it the keys in the visor. The man that answered the phone was talking to another person the whole time I was on the phone and acted like my questions were absurd. I could not change my drop off location to another that would've been easier to park the truck at on the app and I stayed on hold for over 20 minutes when I tried to call.carliann C.

So far I have been charged 4 times for the same rental. Can not get a hold of Uhaul for help . every time icall the place I rented it from I get charged again. So far I have no idea how I am going to get my money back and to get Uhaul.to stop chatlrging my card every hour ezcept to file fraud charges and I really dont feel like getting in to all that... It's against the law in NC, but there was a sign on the door discouraging masks. It said NOT required here and no employees wore any and no customers standing in line. Trucks were not sanitized. They were just swept by children. This place is dangerous and illegal in the Covid-19 era. No questions or instructions offered about the equipment.Stephen B.

I had a great experience with Ali that reserved the truck for me. She was exceptional! The box truck, however, was filthy. It smelled bad. was dirty inside. Pet hair everywhere. Smelled like an animal. I drove 3.5 hours in that filth. Was not happy but had no other choice as I needed that particular truck.Julie R.

This was the best large rental truck I have ever rented!!! It was your new Ford triton V10 gas truck. It was the smoothest ride and had power to climb those big hills.
