Dropped off a trailer, location was run-down, worker was unhelpful. Couldn't find anyone in office, I parked along a fence. Found the guy, he told me to pull the vehicle around the side of a building. Guy went MIA, had to find him again. After finding him, he told me to back up trailer in a small spot - told him I am not good at backing up with hitched trailer. I asked if he could unhitch it right there beside the building, he told me they don't unhitch the trailer. I told him I can't unhitch it myself, that the UHaul associates always unhitch them. He said they don't. I said that I could not back up the trailer into the small spot, so he told me to pull up along the fence (where I originally parked.) I parked along the fence again, and the guy went missing again. Found him behind the building talking with another guy. Told him I parked along the fence, and asked him to unhitch the trailer. He said, emphatically and rudely, that they don't unhitch they trailer. I said I needed him to do it! Then another young worker, never said anything, came to the fence and unhitched the trailer. I said thank you, he just walked away. AWFUL SERVICE. RUN-DOWN LOCATION. NEVER DO BUSINESS AT THIS LOCATION!!Melissa K.

Andrew demonstrated atrocious customer service and knowledge of process. Charged me for gas, although I did replace fuel used (only went 15KM's, added $11 in gas, only to be charged an additional $20 after the fact). Second negative experience using uhaul in one week. Please, do choke when digesting the largest sachel of Richard's you can find.Sean C.

I was told it was a 6x12 open trailer .yes! but the ramp was only 5 ft wide.i needed a 6ft opening .so drive there take home dont fit drive back then drive back home .if i was told it was a 5ft opening i would not have wasted my time .i also did explain it was for a spyder motercycle and had to be 6 ftdanny B.

Business hours of location indicated it was open, on showing up gates to business were closed. Nobody picked up phone when calling multiple times. Called u haul phone number, was told to just take the trailer if I was comfortable hooking up to tow vehicle by myself as the trailer was outside the gated area of the business. As I was backing up someone from the business showed up and just went and took a picture of the hookup, no mention that I was there for 45 mins trying to figure out what to do with an unattended business. This is not the first time this has happened when I have tried to use uhaul. I will never use u haul again for any rentals of any kind. I have learned my lesson.Chadd T.

Have the dealer understand how the uhaul system works , not enough information on hidden charges or they neglect to tell you . Spent 1/2 an hour just trying to book it out. I wouldn't return as a customer.STEPHENDOUGLAS O.

I paid for a furniture dolly and a utility dolly, that I never received. Instead we had to lift all the furniture ourselves which was not very fun. At the drop off I tried to talk to someone about it, but there wasn't anyone at the location. I even called twice with no response. I am very displeased with the lack of customer service this location provides. If I require a uhaul in the future, I will not be using this location. I also want a refund on the $14.00 that I am being charged for the two dollies Natura Landscape Supply failed to provide.Douglas J.
1. Have your employees show up to work on time for pick up. 2. Improve visibility to charges incurred (estimated $178, paid $360) 3. Proper Vehicle maintenance. Tires were completely bald driving on icy Canadian roads in the winter.Kevin R.

Staff didn't know how to work the system. I was booked to have my rental 10-2 but only finally got the rental at 12 due to having to talk the employees thru ur simple common sense system. However when i returned the equipment at 130pm they ha no problem accepting it back. Basically i used a vehicle for 1hour and was charged for 4hrs. Soo not impressedKIMBERLEYANNE R.
The office didn't open until 10am and I was supposed to have a â€œself check inâ€ at 9am but they did not leave the vehicle in an accessible location, so I had to wait until they opened to get the vehicle.Dwight S.

This location was great as was the staff. My only complaint about u-Hal is its lack of updates on its websites and lack of clear instructions on the website. We went to 3 locations to drop off the hula before finding the one that was still open that takes the trailer we rented. Also your website isn't up to date with hitch rentals because of the shortage and your website doesn't represent that issue right now.Krystina B.

The guy stank like marijuana was high. I realize that it legal here in Canada now but still highly inappropriate and unprofessional to be high at work. Had no idea what he was doing. Had never even hooked up a trailer before. He changed my reservation and added insurance that I had opted not to get. Their location was hard to get into. The other employees almost hit our car with a pay loader and to get the trailer we had to drive 45 minutes out of the way. All in all this was honestly the worst experience I've ever had with uhaul.Thomas N.
Doubt was sanitized or even wiped down in the cab...back had debris from last few renters...What I was charged was almost double the quote even thou I left more fuel in it than when I started and swept out the back and wiped the cab down when I was finished...I would recommend in a pinch if you can't find anything else,,was pretty dented up for less than 9000 milesPaul K.
