How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe Uhaul phone operator told me to return it to another location in Pembroke which was not open. That was very frustrating. Plus we asked to return it to Eganville but they told us to take it to the Pembroke location which was closed. It would have been much more convenient to return it to Eganville but tht operator told us that it was already rented inu Pembroke, which was not true. So while the Hamilton's Convenience was good, the rest of the return was very bad.
Kevin GI pulled in to tell him that I was dropping off the trailer early because I could not drop it off the next day. The gentleman told me to pull it around back park it and that’s all he never came and checked it out nothing. So I took all the pictures that I could take with the timestamp and I left it there. It just did not feel right.
glenn rI was quoted a price on the phone of $350 and told that $100 hold would you put on my credit card card I got to the agent a $300 hold was requested on my credit card and I was told to pay $46 upfront I was stranded out of town at this location and basically backed into a corner to rent a vehicle when I called Customer Service after returning it and my charges were $484 they were not willing to reimburse me anything for the inconvenience. I won’t be using U-Haul again.
Chad LWhen I arrived, they did not have a U-Haul ready for me, so I had to wait while they figured out the situation. Once I received the truck, I noticed that the tires were bald, which was concerning. The U-Haul itself was clean. The location was fine, but they have been parking U-Haul trucks in front of the store near Round Lake Road. This blocks the view of oncoming traffic and makes it dangerous to cross the intersection. The trucks should be parked somewhere that does not obstruct visibility or create a safety hazard.
