I reserved a truck from a location close to my destination only after to be told that they em didn't have that size available so i had to pick up probably 13 miles out of my way. Truck was dirty smelt like cigarettes and i was charged for the mileage that i occurred having to drive it backCarrie J.
The vehicle could be cleaned and serviced. When I got in it had a low tire pressure light on and low washer fluid light on. There was dirt all in the cargo area.TERA P.
I reserved an 8AM vehicle when I got to location They didn't open till 9AM. I was trying to use the self sign in without any benefit. It wasn't user friendly at all. I called the customer service # and was getting assistance then the storage manager arrived to help me. I lost an hour of moving time for horrible sign in procedures. I drop the U-Haul off ..I call the 800 number ask them would it be a problem if drop the truck at 12pm she told it would not be problem.10am was my drop off at first.. I woke up this morning check my bank . U-Haul charge me 57$ for those to hour. Very disappointed.. I'm retired army veteran 20 years I been using U-Haul never had a problem like this.. plus I needed that money for my family.. been lay off during this COVID 19Maurice P.

I made sure and fueled the rental before I returned it and I was still charged $13.20 for fuel. I called and explained i put $12.00 in gas before I returned it and got no explanation. The fuel gauge was over the mark on the contract.Kevin W.

The tires on the trailer I rented were in poor condition and had dry rot. One tire completely delaminated (tread came off) while driving down the interstate. This caused a 2.5 hour delay on a planned 14 hour trip, and thus required that I get a hotel room., and extending my trip by another day. As it turned out both tires had to be replaced due to dry rot. Please inspect and replace badly worn or dry rotter tires before sending them out..A B M.

Would recommend that hitch screw down be lubricated regularly. It was necessary to unhitch and rematch trailer. Screw was binding, sprayed lubricant and moved up and down the threads much easier. Other than that...good haul.

My initial drop-off location was West GA Rental, who no longer uses U-Haul. NO ONE CALLED TO TELL ME MY DROP OFF LOCATION HAD CHANGED. I was referred to a nearby location, to be told by the staff that they only carry 10-15' trucks. He referred me to another of their locations ASAP Storage, and she had no where to put it. She was kind enough to call U-Haul who told her my drop off had been changed to New GA Storage. Ben was extremely helpful. My biggest complaint is that no one called me and I ended up spending in excess of 2 hours when a 2 minute phone call could have solved my problem and not WASTED MY TIME. I feel marginalized and disappointed that U-Haul seemed to have no concern over my time or trouble. You do have my cell number and an abundance of information on me. WHY NO 2 MINUTE CALL? My experience was ridiculous. I even spoke with management and when they couldn't answer my question they just stopped emailing me. I will never use uhaul services again and will tell everyone I know that they don't care about their customers especially military customers.Alexandria C.

the windshield had a very large crack and i didn't notice it until i started driving it home. it was noted anywhere on the paperwork and i was scared to death that i was going to be blamed for it. otherwise, every thing else was clean and as expected. customer service was great.rebecca P.

When I originally scheduled a pick up for 10/7/17 online I selected the store right by my house. The night before I was scheduled to pick up I got a call that they changed my pick up location and it just so happens to be I. A different county. So I was charged for the 33 miles from the location back to my house and back to the location.. instead I'm being robbed for many more miles than I would have drove.Heather A.
