A way to do some of the paperwork before you arrive at the location would be amazing. We were on a time crunch and the amount of back and forth we had to do to try and get the rental to finish going through was annoying.

They weren't there and there was no key
Mike RDO NOT RENT!!! Franchise store not Corporate. Owner makes his own rules such as not extending my rental and calling the police and taking the key from the rental leaving me stuck with 3 young girls on the side of the road on Easter Sunday with no transportation and no other rental due to the Holiday Weekend! Gave 3 different reasons why he was taking the rental back. He told the officers we were sleeping in it. Yes, we were in the parking lot next to your uhaul building! Only left to get food and come back! We were waiting for a bigger truck to come from a different company as he didn't have one that would fit all our belongings. It was 3 am when we got there and it was 6 am when we were surrounded by police! He told Corporate it was for none payment but it showes that was pending so Corporate opened their own dispute on my behalf. Owner was very rude, refused to speak to me and or extended my rental. LOST 2 BED FRAMES WORTH OVER $500 EACH! We couldn't get another rental in such a short amount of time and were unable to move the adjustable beds. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION! I wish I could add pictures of the police surrounding us in the parking lot 2 buildings over from the location!

Fawn CThis drop-off location was not staffed, it was a rundown looking lot and we had to park the truck in the mud. It was easy enough to do the return procedure on the app but it would have been better if we had actually seen a staff person.

joyce sThis location never had anyone there. I tried to drop off a trailer that I hauled for U-Haul and they expected me to disconnect it without any direction. I called before coming to drop my equipment and they never said they weren’t there, I get there and they tell me to leave the keys in the box and they would send a receipt. Never received the receipt until 2 days later. They tried to indicate I drove over triple the miles I traveled. Although under review now, I think U-Haul needs to rethink their policies.
Crystal BThe U-Haul was completely covered in snow and ice, had to waste 20 minutes idling and wasting gas just to be able to move out of the parking spot. When driving, snow and ice chunks were flying off on drivers behind me. There was nothing I could do about it. This was highly unsafe and also wasted my precious money as a newly single mom with limited funds.
Sarah PAlthough the equipment was fine and well maintained, when I arrived, there was no one available to assist with an issue I had. I called the help line, and the issue was resolved. However, when I went to the lock box to get my key, the combination was already set to the correct word, meaning anyone could have accessed the truck before me, potentially causing confusion. The shop itself doesn't seem to ever actually open, and looking inside, there were few signs of anyone ever being there.
Kareem BYou have the wrong email down for this. I have never used UHaul in my life and keep getting emails for this purchase. I have contacted customer service three times. Please have your managers pay attention to getting the proper information.
Ciera TPicked up on a Sunday. Location said open but no one was there. Eventually I got a return call telling me where to find my key. Nice guy but it would have been nice to have known that’s how it was going to go. Ended up 30 minutes behind in what was to be a long day.

Edward LI dropped off trailer a day early (16 Sep, at 11:00 AM) however nobody was available to accept it. I contacted the number on my receipt & they told me to just leave it & they'll forward the final receipt to me on 17 Sep. I felt uncomfortable doing this so I called Uhaul customer service to drop it off at another Uhaul location. They informed me I had to drop it off at 2324 E Lincoln Hwy Coatesville, PA 19320. I told them I felt uncomfortable doing so but the woman assured me she spoke to the person at the drop off site & said to leave it & it'll be checked in later. 3 days later, on 19 Sep, at 9:41 AM, I received a call from Uhaul asking me about the whereabouts of the trailer. I explained what I stated above & that I hadn't received confirmation it was returned. And that I had a self made video verifying I dropped the trailer off at the above stated date & location. The woman on the line understood, apologized for any inconvenience & would get back to me soonest. A few hours later I received an email receipt that the trailer was finally received. I will not use nor recommend this drop off location in the future.
ROBERT CI was a little confused about gaining entry and called in and got a very helpful and friendly representative (can't recall his name). With his calm demeanor, he guided me and in a few minutes had access. Great pickup location and clean truck...just the armrest was broken but otherwise, the truck did what it had to do.
Arthur VLocation claims to be is opened from 10:30 - 12, however both times i arrived during this time and they were not opened. When i picked up the truck. the equipment i rented was not inside the truck, and i was given the keys to the wrong truck. This was the worst U-haul i have ever been to

jenn nI might not recommend UHaul with the off hours mobile check in to anyone. It’s a nightmare ! That online approval , calling people waiting for agents on chat with no response for hours , it’s terrible terrible customer experience.
Kalpit NI dropped off the truck per the instructions in the U-Haul app. They then sat on it for two weeks until I received a call from U-Haul about when I was going to return the truck and I then had to go and track the truck down loosing time at work only to find out that they just never checked it in for two weeks.
MICHAEL AWe did this spur of the moment. The van was ready. Rental was fast and easy. The gentleman was very respectful, friendly and explained everything.
Michael TConflict with getting in touch with customer service and arranging the pick up time for the truck. Last Saturday a family was waiting outside of the door for a pickup time of 10 am, this was 12:30 pm and they were still waiting to pickup vehicle . I don't know if they ever got the truck. On Sunday, my scheduled date, I was there at 10 am and no one was there. That was the arranged pick up time. We did not get the truck until after 11:am, which caused a major inconvenience for my haulers. They had other things to do and I was only left with a few people. No sense in having a schedule and a store, unless you are going to have the proper employees to maintain the scheduling for service. I was very disappointed because I had to pay other people.

Thomas HWe had issues with getting the key to the truck we tried to get help from someone in the store but the door was locked(even though the open sign was up and it was within business hours) we called the number and was told to just to keep trying on the website because the person was on break. The truck did work well for what we needed. We only had it for about 4 hours. Was disappointed in the lack of customer service.

Charles CAgain, we had problems returning our truck. Being on a holiday weekend most likely contributed to the situation where we had to do the return online again. The ONLINE personnel were helpful in talking us thru the location process, allowing us to finally get through the return process without much difficulty.
Barry MAfter 5 calls to your 1800 number and being told on the 5th that I’ve been blown off cause no regional managers are “in on Sundays”, being double charged, having my mileage falsely recorded, my reservation not being ready(AFTER CALLING FOR CONFIRMATION TWICE!) and in general the most unprofessional and suspect experience I have ever had In all of my 10 years of using U-Haul and NEVER getting in contact with a single person to even APOLOGIZE let alone fix the problem…. You’ll be hearing from my lawyer before I get my damn money back. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE experience with the location, the customer service, the management, and the company. Shame on all of you. And your terrible phone service and location staff. My organization, our affiliates, and anyone I will work with going forward WILL NEVER use a uhaul again. I literally NEVER complain but this was BY FAR the absolute most TERRIBLE experience. Shame on you and your staff.

danielle aIt's been about a week and seven plus tries. My invoice on the UHaul webpage says $0.00. My credit card was billed an amount close to accurate, but not exact. I've yet to receive a detailed invoice. Stopped by location three times during normal working hours and no one there. Sent three requests to UHaul, no response. Sent an email to location, no response. Just hopeless. I'm glad the discrepancy is small. I'll look the other way. But I will need to pass along my experience with this location to neighbors and friends.
Raymond MI scheduled for another location and went in to pu and was told the reservation was gone and referred to customer service. I was then told the rental that I was to get was not returned. They located another 8 miles away with on line check in. The app would not load and it took 6 attempts to check in and get keys. We were delayed by 1 1/2 hours due to a screw up that NO ONE NOTIFIED US ABOUT!!!! This was the second horrible experience in 2 weeks. I will be looking for an alternative rental company in the future. I NEVER HAD AN ISSUE WITH IN PERSON PICK UP. Your app leaves a lot to be desired!!!

John MThe app was difficult to use for a smart person. It kept asking for pictures when they were already sent. Took over 20 minutes to figure out and there was no one at the location at 4pm to help or to ask questions. No phone number was provided on the email drop off location. It was easy to park there though and very close to our delivery location.

Tyrese CRecieved the truck with gas on Empty. It was a local move and on the easy back it screamed it needed gas. I put in a small amount of gas to make up for what I drove plus even a little more. I drove a total of 11 miles. I was charged for it being low on gas. $30 fuel service and $42 for the fuel. The truck was also very old and you could feel it when driving. I've driven several uhauls before and this truck just sucked. It needs to be retired. The AC also didn't work and it was 95 degrees outside and after moving, we were HOT! I don't recommend this location because of being charged for fuel when I received the truck on empty.

Gregg Pthere is a open sign on the window, person in charge was not there, we call make appointment at 10 am the guy showed u 45 minutes late. next day when we went to pick up the truck there was a major issue called the person in charge he hanged the phone it took 1.5 hours to pick up the truck, in a nutshell this is the last time we use U-Haul .
