I had no problem with the U haul itself or with the pickup location. I've been really happy with the service so far and it's a lifesaver for moving. But on Wednesday when I was picking up my U haul, my app crashed during the check in process, and once I opened it back up, I wasn't able to keep going with the checkin and said that the U Haul was already checked in by me. This was a problem because the U haul was lower than the 3/4th line in the fuel meter, and I wasn't able to show that in the app. I did take pictures of it before riding though. I ended up spending over $50 to fill the truck up even though I had only driven 25 miles. That basically doubled my moving cost and was definitely a disappointment with the whole process, and an extra stressor during this crazy moving period.TAREK Y.

Love the location and the truck. The mobile check in and mobile return of truck took forever. I spent at least 40 min to check in and another 20 min to return the truck. That was a terrible experience.Heesook P.

The location is convenient but it is very unclear where rentals can be left safely without blocking roadways or other equipment access. There are signs threatening to charge extra if you do something wrong, but no guidance as to the right ways to park equipment.Christopher L.

The truck cabin was a bit dirty, with mud streaks on the inside door panels, and some sort of dry spilled drink all over the center console. In addition, the roof over the driver was stained with another sloshed liquid. It wasn't THAT bad, though. It was usable for a pickup, but it showed that they didn't care to prep the vehicle nicely for the next customer. The location was really bad at night, with just one lonely exposed light bulb to light the whole outer parking lot, and lots of mudholes with water in them, which was not pleasant to step in in the dark while trying to check out the vehicle. It kind of spoiled the experience, to have one $150 hiking shoe filled with muddy water from the puddle. (The replacement will cost me just about the same as the rental!) The lack of light made taking the required photos almost impossible in that dark, lonely environment, and it took me a half hour just to pick up the truck, because they kept saying the photos were not adequate. I've rented at various places and returned at night, and never had I experienced such darkness, mudholes and water puddled all over in the dark areas, uneven pavement, cement curbs to trip over, etc. This place might be just fine in the daytime, but at night it was a very dark and unpleasant experience for me when having to take all the pictures and trying to see the defects in the body of the truck in the absolute darkness.Richard V.

I had picked up in Colorado and dropped off in Grapevine TX. The only issue I had was with the online reservation system. * It behaved as if it had been hacked - contact me for more detail * After inputting the correct location to pickup it would default over and over to a town I had never heard of * Initially they had me picking up in a town an hour away from Boulder (which was my requested location * Lastly I learned that I wasn't guaranteed a truck until two days before pick up. This was a big problem because I was flying one way to Colorado to pick up furniture to drive back to Texad.Ronald H.

Best part was employee courtesy and helpfulness. App was difficult to use. Online booking experience was intimidating with threat to charge several hundred dollars for a scratch without insurance recommended. Slows down service as one does a minute inspection of vehicle to make sure there is not some hard to find scratch while your parking lot is rather full. Staff apparently too busy to clean floor of driver area of truck between users, but it is not all that important.Daniel D.

If uHaul had a specific trailer that needs to go back to a location, please have it identified and parked in such a way that it can be picked up. There was a lot of confusion which resulted in significant delays and driving around from location to location during during pickup process.KEVIN S.

This is not the location I was supposed to pick my Uhual up from. The place we initially tried to rent from told us they made a reservation but they did not make a reservation. I had to drive to Boulder, which was an hour away from me, last minute to pick the trailer up a day early. No apology or discount was offered when they realized their mistake. It was a terrible experience. I hope I never have to rent a Uhual again.Margaret K.

Location wise, everything about this spot was great, they observed COVID protocols, and the one key-pickup interaction I had went smoothly. However, before driving my uhaul truck off/away, I did not check if the appliance and furniture Dolly I needed were in the back of the truck (like the online order form said they would be). Thankfully, I was able to pick them up at another uhaul location, but make sure to check for your desired equipment is in the uhaul before driving off!Marek S.
The online/mobile experience was terrible! The mobile app doesn't work, doesn't know the location, I had to call customer service, which took way too much time and the representative was not friendly. Then she wanted to charge me $20 extra when the uhaul app does not do it's job. Terrible. Renting trucks used to be very simple and very straight forward.Ernest B.
You should be told at time of booking if a location will be open at the time you arrive. This location was closed at 9am on a Saturday. It was a pain to pick this up and receive approval remotely. Truck was dirty. Found out when I filled gas tank that there was a HOLE in the tank. Gas went everywhere. I would like money back. This isn't safe.Lindsey R.

Get your act together! Was told my tow vehicle was insufficient to tow the trailer. Wrong. I have the owner's manual, I can read. UHaul assumed my tow vehicle had a base V6 engine, it has a V8. Spent WAY too much time getting this ironed out. Then was told I had to arrive 30 minutes early so the UHaul rep can hook up the trailer and photograph said hookup. It takes 5 minutes. It's a sad state of affairs in the USA when ordinary citizens can't be trusted to hook up a trailer. I'm old, know how to do it, and can drive a vehicle with a manual transmission. Rant over. Overall, I will consider another service provider next time.Morgan S.

U-Haul cancelled my reservation at pick up, then charged me an extra $60 for a new one. Couldn't even get through to customer service. This location was terrible. The contactless pick up involved a lot of contact with a maskless desk attendee. If I wasn't in a time crunch, I would've walked away and refused to do business.Katrina W.

I was Very disappointed. The text I was sent by U-Haul said drop location was open Saturday from 0830-1200. I got there shortly after 11:00 mountain time and found them closed. Hours posted said closed both Sat/Sunday. Parking lot also very untidy and disorganized. I managed to park and turn in my trailer.BRADLEY T.
