Agent was Disorganized and not well trained. As well I had booked for 7 days. Upon picking up the unit I was told it was for 12 days and could not be amended. Very very upset with this.

Make sure that the things they are renting have had the inspection done the trailer I rented had two low tires and one was leaking had to pay a tire shop to fix it my self

Not impressed with the extra fuel charge - I fuelled it to the half way mark and it looks like you charged me $63.27 for fuel. The worst service so far that I’ve had from U-Haul!

It was not the locations that were the issue. It was the booking system. I booked a 4x8 trailer I was given a 6x12 because that was all that was available even though I booked months in advance. I also did not get moving blankets I ordered. It would be a nice upgrade but I ordered that specific trailer because my vehicle was capable of towing it. So I had to arrange a different vehicle to tow it. Finally after six hours of on the phone and at location I got the trailer home. Once home discovered the trailer breaks leaking all over my driveway . It took two days for the parts to come for the mechanic to fix the trailer. This delaying my move to ontario. I did what I could to make sure my move would go flawless by calling 3 times before the move to make sure everything would be ready. It did not help at all. This will be my last time using uhaul and I will not be recommending your services to anyone. Please work on your system to save other people the stress and headaches that your customers go through. The royally messed up my reservation and the girl at the location was rude. Talked to me like she was doing. Me a favor. Just horrid.

My pick up and drop off location service wasnt bad wasnt great. The customer service over the phone was very helpful, however at the store locations very unprofessional. Most importantly 520 meridian rd Ne Calgary. When I picked my uhaul up they said I could drop it off at any location no specifications. When we pulled up to that location a heaver set older man came out (sorry for my description but we did not get his name) and just immediately started yelling at us telling us we cant leave it there an it will get towed at our cost if we do. we tried to explain that we were in a hurry an given no instuctions we could not leave it at certain location but i just told him he was being rude that we were new to the area the least he could have done is tell us where we could go instead of threatening us if we left it there. Very disappointing.

The check-in process was slow, despite having reserved and confirmed online. There was no time saved. The vehicle provided needs the alignment fixed, as it pulled strongly to the right. Tire inflation was correct. The list of drop-off locations identified when I picked up the truck was extremely poor. There are at least 6 locations identified on google closer to my destination, but these were not identified as options for me.

The location is much better than it was a few years ago, and the agent was friendly and proficient. I didn't see the fleet though or any sign that I was at the right place. I think the place should have better marking and a better place to drive the trucks up to (not just on the street).

Going over the truck as a pre post.. as the wipers needed to be changed the power steering pump was leaking, the drivers headlight was cracked and the fuel was not at half: (it is hard to put exactly 1/2 fuel).. truck used a full quart of oil. These items were not able to be fixed prior to my taking possession of the truck. The little x posts that show damage on the Vechile they ran out of x posts to put on Vechile...Truck ran very well and handled fine on the highway.

Rented two trailers and a moving truck, the signal lights on both trailers on left hand side did not work and the location did not care to fix it. The hitch did not lock down to ball on vehicle so they grabbed a pipe wrench to force it to tighten, it worked at the store but when i got home had to beat it to get it off the vehicle at home. At home I had to waste my time repairing the hitch so it would be safe on the road.

The parking lot was full of other vehicles like taxis. They didn't have a record of the drop off and we're not very helpful. I supplied them a copy of the receipt to prove i was telling the truth.

U haul was confused on drop off paper work said Crossfield Ab then i got texted before drop off Airdrie Ab as the other didnt take trailer. Clarity is nice so a person can preplan trip times.

I reserved several dollies but none were available. There were no moving supplies available for purchase. Didn't feel like a legit UHaul vendor. When staff couldn't supply the dollies, they should have recommended other suppliers as a courtesy. There is was a United Rentals in the same business park that I researched myself.

The truck is not road worthy. It has some alignment/mechanical issues. The attendant knew about this issue but still proceeded to give me the truck. I found out the hard way after driving for about 2 miles or so. Returned the truck to the location only to be told to call road assistance because the vehicle has been checked out of the system. First of all, a truck that is not road worthy should under no circumstances be issued to a client. The attendant is not helpful at all by tossing the issue to road assistance instead of taking over from me. Uhaul should not compromise clients' safety and security with unsafe vehicle, especially in wintery conditions.

customer service agent was not very friendly. The location was a taxi stand as well and did not explain anything about the vehicle. i booked 20 blankets and they didn't have any. The washer fluid was frozen in the vehicle which ended up being a safety issue. I had to stop several times in my long drive to wash the window off.

I found the metal floors quite slippery in the truck with my shoes and a bit of snow. A wood floor would be much safer.

Business was busy and needed more up front personnel, to cut down on the lineup at the counter. Employee was friendly and helpful when finally reached. U-haul should also look at mandating winter snow tires on all there vehicles in Canada for the winter.

The trailer smelled like gas and went though all of my belonging and mud and water from the road sprayed up inside of the trailer and ruined half of my belonging I had inside. The trailer lights didn’t work half the time it kept blowing the fuses in my suv had to constantly stop and replace the fuses to have the lights working.the reason I couldn’t smell the gas when I picked it up is because I loss my sense of smell I loaded the trailer myself before leaving Fort McMurray and got help unloading it once I got in Newfoundland.

Overall experience with u-haul is very poor. I booked a trailer 2 weeks in advance. Receive a call 13:21 to confirm my rental only to have have someone from the call center call approximately 1 hour later to tell me the trailer is no longer available and I would have to take an open trailer. Not happy with this company at all!!????

Improve your customer service , ensure trucks are clean. Ensure that the staff are fully aware of the specific cost per km, so two staff members doesn't quote Different prices. Customers should be given a certain amount of km when renting a truck, before km charges become applicable
