I was very happy with the process at the pickup location, where Jesus was excellent. On my several phone calls, all the experiences were professional and pleasant. My late-night truck return call with Brittany was particularly good. She stayed with me through the procedure, had answers when unexpected things happened, and was as good as a customer service rep could be. My truck had a cracked windshield with a patch on it, which didn't especially bother me but might matter more to some.

Isaiah H.I had multiple issues. My original location had changed twice. This resulted in the location being 40 extra miles driven for me. They charge $1.09 a mile and this resulted in over $40 additional charges added. The uhaul rep was called for this location to see if they could knock off miles for me and all they said was he signed the contract. This is such a scummy way to transact business. DO NOT RENT A UHAUL FROM THIS LOCATION ON UNIVERSITY IN DENTON!!!

The representative started that they only have the truck because they don't stay stocked by Uhaul with the other items. I had to go to another location to get the items. The next location only had the pads. I was over an hour late getting to my pick up locations because of these issues. Never again.

YOLANDA A.The truck was disgusting! Nothing In the cabin had been wiped down or cleaned. I immediately went home and wiped it out with the clorox wipes I had. None of the staff were wearing face masks when I went in there. It's as if COVID did not exist. Other than the disgusting truck, the truck drove fine and I was able to do what I needed to do. I would not rent a U-Haul from that location ever again.
Russell B.I was charged for 11 gallons of gas when I only drove 6 miles. I had even put a gallon of gas in (more than I had used) before taking it back. Anyways, the gentleman At the desk refunded me and in the end I had paid the amount I should have been charged from the beginning. It only took up an extra hour of my time and the headache of driving back to the location since nobody would answer the phone - to explain that they had over charged me more than double the amount than what was owed.

NANCY S.First he told me a 10ft truck would fit a 73" refrig but not without a ramp we discovered when we got to our storage unit 27 rt miles later. So l had to come back to trade it in for a 15' mothers attic truck w/ a ramp! I wasnt offered a deal on the mileage or any off the upgrade for my troubles & they were supposed to have an appliance dolly l ordered but didnt. I had to put 10 extra miles on to go to another uhaul to get one. Trucks were clean & ran well but what a nightmare & an extra $37 l was out due to the store clerks bad advice. Will just use the big uhaul ctr in the future.

hector O.You overcharged me for gas. When I took the truck, it was listed as full but it was right at 7/8 of a tank. That $16.00 fuel charge needs to be reversed or I will dispute the charges. I called the place and discussed this with them and was told this would not be a problem.

JOHN L.I called in on the day I rented the U-Haul because the U-Haul place did not put the dolly in my truck I reminded them I was getting one and she said oh yes I'm glad you said something. I drove home after inspection and she gave me the keys. I drove home and opened the back of the U-Haul and no dolly. I drove back to the U-Haul place and they said oh we forgot, and then said I thought we had one but turns out we didn't. He told me to drove to another U-Haul place on I 35 in Denton. Waiting in line 30 min because the attendant outside did not even try to listen to what I was asking. And it was on my contract so he could have helped me the manager said. The guy on the phone looked up my contract and because it significantly delayed my packing and being able to get moved out and to my next location. He gave me two options vip pass for a $25.00 email coupon I would receive in 24 hours, or another option that needed more time for approval and could be $50.00. I chose the vip option. I have not received a email. My email is koolscakes@gmail.com. Do to circumstance beyond my control the apartment was not move in ready and not what was promised. Then further delaying my move and I went to work my first day not have even been able to unpack the U-Haul. Unfortunately I did not return the U-Haul in time and was charged another day. Noraiz R.The owner of the store was very helpful and kind, but the location itself was dingy. I would recommend solely on the manager himself, however. Also, reserving was very difficult and unclear. I made a reservation for 10 a.m. in Denton for a 10' truck but someone called at 9:30 to tell me they didn't have a reservation available at that time even though I went on the night before and reserved. Very frustrating as you might imagine.
