U-Haul truck was great vehicle for 6 fisherman’s coolers, poles, and bags. We also used it to dry our wet rain gear, especially in Alaska. At about 1/2 the price va a SUV. We anlso added another 10 boxes of salmon and could have added even more. Great choice for what we wanted to do. Thanks Mmm

We were badly overcharged for 75 miles of actual driving we should have been credited for the difference between the mileage allowance of 1275 miles and the actual mileage driven.

The milage estimate was INSANELY incorrect along with the "estimated" travel time, allocated days. The distance was close to 2500 miles not the 1600+- stated. Much of the road was rural mountain roads, gravel, through western Canadian provinces, making SAFE travel speeds MUCH LOWER than forecasted by routing models. The destination is on an island, and only accessible by commercial ferry transport one day per week. A delayed departure time at origin, longer travel times because of darkness on vastly rural roads, made connection with commercial ferry service impossible. With a 5-6 day delay on the next commercially available ferry, made the arrival at the destination drop off in the "allocated" days impractical. With return to cell phone service area, there were "several" calls from the drop off location "requesting" early drop off for their other client's benefit. This is COMPLETE bullsh**! After 30+- years experience using Uhaul products from a wide variety of locations across dozens of states, this was absolutely the WORSE experience from reservation to drop off!

The folks at North Tongass Mini Storage are terrific, I needed to store some household goods & clothing that I did not have room to take with me, so I called North Tongass Mini Storage, and they were able to find me a storage unit that was the correct size to temporarily store my belongings in, fair pricing and a great staff. Facility and unit were fine. I found the office manager a bit rude at times. During the height of COVID you were NOT allowed to wear a mask into the office. Supposedly for safety reasons but with a huge TRUMP sign right behind her on the wall....I felt it was politically motivated and I felt that I was needlessly exposing myself in order to do business with U Haul.
