The equipment was clean but the lower side mirror was missing, a bit hard on turns as the driver would have a hard time to see the lower road in the mirror. The customer service was nice.

So I am deaf and lived in domestic violence shelter then I moved to a new place so why did someone at u-haul be rude to me about where I parked the van I rented I didn’t park anywhere illegal so why this person rude to me

The facility is old and a bit scary walking up the stairs. However the person taking my reservations was very pleasant and nice to deal with. The truck was clean and ready to go when I arrived.

$332 for a 3 day rental. For 19.95/day+ fees, I don't even know why that price is advertised. It's a joke. I didn't even drive out of town. Next time I will rent from Enterprise truck rentals.

Insure that the personnel are locked in, know that the weakest link will break any company. I appreciated the 98125 location ! I encourage pay raise and bonus for employees who are knowledgeable, positive and polite.

This was the Very Best rental experience I have had, many cars and construction rentals. Brian was knowledgeable, professional and efficient. The staff at the Northgate U Haul on Roosevelt in Seattle is top notch. Efficient in every way. I got my rental in record time and return was super fast. Thank you for great service! Please give them all bonuses for a job exceptionally well done!

We the facility during a project we had going on down in Seattle. It made things much more convenient for us to securely keep our tools down closer to the job. It was very easy to rent a unit and move out of a unit. We highly recommend this facility for storage needs

The box in the truck I received smelled like piss. If I weren’t using it to take a load to the local transfer station I would have rejected it rather than put my belongings in it.

The whole experience was smooth. The southern driveway (street access) is narrow, so I needed to maneuver a bit to get through, but it was achievable. I had an overall great experience!

Regarding question 2 above, equipment was well maintained, it hadn't been washed but I didn't need it to be sparkling clean. Unfortunately the document wouldn't let me accept it without providing a photo of the road dirt.

Please don't take "average" as bad. There are many UHaul locations in big cities, and Seattle is one of them. The location wasn't what made my decision. The vehicle was what I was looking for. The van was in good working order, but the bed of the van was pretty dirty and needed to be swept or vacuumed out. I found lots of screws and pieces of previously moved items in the van, which created some confusion for me when unloading my load of disassembled furniture from it. I do have to give very big kudos to the site manager (don't know his name) because he was super friendly, very clear about the rental process, very clear about directions for renters, and, when I returned the van I realized I'd left my own set of car keys back at my house, so he made no issue out of me asking to go back home to get my car keys with the rental van. His friendliness and kindness was very much appreciated!

The man who was working there that morning was very friendly and knowledgeable. However, the system went down while he was processing my check out and printing out the contract for me to sign, which caused a 30-minute delay in getting the moving van. I don't blame him for this, and I think he did well to try and fix it. I am disappointed that U-Haul's system went down on a Saturday morning.

Generally speaking everything was smooth. The check in process was easy. Feedback: I reserved a unit online and didn't realize I was required to be onsite exactly at the time - the website did not make that a clear requirement nor did the confirmation email. I arrived at 10am vs. 9am and I was guilted repeatedly by the person who checked me in. He made it clear when his boss called during the check in process that the he was dealing with a customer who arrived late. It just seemed unnecessary. I was also disappointed that for my 24 hour rental, the clock started ticking an hour before I actually picked up the vehicle (again this was not made clear on the website). I had rearrange meetings the following day so I could be there right at 9am vs.10am to drop the vehicle off and then it turns out I was dropping keys in a box and I don't think the timing really mattered. I've rented lots of vehicles in my life and this was an unusual experience.

The general manager there was really friendly, knowledgeable, and fast, which made my 2hr van rental very easy and quick! These aren’t the newest vehicles and this isn’t a big, full-service facility, but definitely friendlier and more efficient than the big U-Haul places I’ve been to. For a quick van rental, I won’t hesitate to use them again.

The office guy is very helpful and efficient. The cargo van could get more cleaning and there are two tires with low tire pressure warning light turned on. I only drove 10 miles, so it is not a serious problem for me. It would be problematic for other renters if they need to drive long distance.

Great helpful staff person, easy check in/out of the truck, clean and reliable rental equipment. The only thing I can think of that is less than great is how narrow the driveways are on the property with cars parked. I was nervous getting in and out of there with the truck. Overall two thumbs up though!

Make sure that the mirrors on vehicle are clean. The vehicle I rented had both mirrors covered in stains so when just a little direct light hit em they rendered useless

I wasn't given instructions on how to fill the van up with gas and couldn't find the gas tank so I was charged. I wish I was given those instructions beforehand so I didn't have to spend more money.

My only note is that I was charged for the full month of October, when my unit was empty & clean before the end of the day on October 1st. I hope I am reimbursed the prorated amount for the sum of the days I did not use. Highly recommend in every other area!

The storage facility met our needs. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rate was competitive. The floor and wall are wood and it is not deep cleaned, therefore if storing furniture, I would recommend wrapping or covering it to protect it. The large service elevator was very helpful for move in and move out and we appreciated the security and locked gate during off hours.

This is one of the best places renting a storage unit after a year! Private and clean . Only opens certain hours . The inside was a little weird. It was like a maze . Interesting.

The storage units did not look like the pics online. Smelled damp and musty. I didn`t feel comfortable storing my mattress and couch in there. I chose to store my belongings elswhere.
