The trailer blew a tire 200 miles into our trip. It stranded myself and my wife and kids for over an hour on the PA turnpike. The tire exploded. I’ve never had a such a scary experience. I wish I could get my money back because it severely impacted the timing on our trip.

Chris SU-Haul is either a fraud or they have incapable employees with retarded brain. I hired a truck on 5/27/26 dropped it off on 5/28/26. The lady told me she will leave the drop off location opened. After dropping it off the next day(5/28/26), I got a call the on 29th from xxxxxxx93673. He said I was supposed to drop truck at his location. After explaining to him "I dropped it yesterday" he told me to call xxxxxxx90885. Luckily, I got through after about 15min, explained that I dropped it at Deerleaf Midlothian the previous day. She processed it as if I dropped it at the time we had the conversation and charged my account $60.50 for late return. All efforts to call on the same number from 10:30am to 12noon proved abortive as no one was picking the calls. The staff at the location I dropped it failed to do the right thing, that is the origin of the problem. Obviously, the 3 staff involved do not know what they are doing! I have evidence of the return time and will take it to the social media if I don't get a refund within 10 working days.

Hunter HThey did their best to dispatch the truck. The nantional system was down which made the pick up process very difficult/challenging. Took hours to get the keys and two drives back and forth from our home to the location. It added a lot of stress to an already stressful life event.
Derrill WTruck was dirty, and drove rough. Employee was rude when I asked about my dolly rental. Trucked had too many miles and needed to be scraped.
JOHN BPick-up and drop off are smooth. Attendant is helpful and efficient. Location is a bit difficult for parking and maneuvering the truck.
THOMAS TI rent a lot of uhauls through out the year, but this van one was very dirty inside. Beside the terrible odor like cat pee, it was dirty all in cup holders and all over the middle floor I will not be going back to rent there Thank you
Donnie FI had trouble with my lockable hitch retaining pin and the guy was remarkably chill and helpful. He hooked up and unhooked the trailer. Very easy and stress free engagement. I will use this location again.

Kara DI didn't know that I should have read the text/email I got that said to take a picture of the back of the truck with the license plate. It has been a long time since I rented from U-Haul and didn't know that was a thing. There was a smoky smell in the truck from someone smoking. Staff offered to de-odorize and also noted it in my pickup info so I didn't get charged. I understand how it must be frustrating to you all when folks smoke in the trucks. They really need to be charged a hefty cleaning fee.

REX ALocation was fine - drop off on the app was frustrating because it tried to charge us for extra fuel despite filling it to the pick up level. It feels scammy that the photo upload did not work for pick up but did for drop off so we have no evidence in the app that we returned it in the same dirty condition that we got it in except on our own personal devices

KAREN Cbecause a lease with USPS got renewed and the reservation system didn't catch it, I was not able to get the van I had reserved, but instead got a truck which had no backup camera and had a trailer hitch instead of a ramp which was a pain in the butt. it was just an annoyance now, but for later segments of my move., I MUST have a ban and I am planning to rent elsewhere in order to avoid this happening again.
