On the first day of travel, the hitch pin fell out and we had to immediately pull off or cause an accident. We had been traveling left lane so we ended up in the median. Left the uhaul and took the truck to get a new hitch because it seemed no help was coming. We were gone about 30 to 45 minutes and in that time bad help came and towed it. We had to pay 300$ to get the uhaul back. Just almost as much as the rental. We did not have that to spend. We were budgeted a certain amount for hotels and meals for 7 days. $ 300.00 for towing, meant 2 less nights for a hotel, and grabbed snacks at gas fill ups. We practically lived in our filth for 3 days.The place we rented from weren't even sure of what they had, and of those they didn't know some were out of order. We were told a Sunday return and they weren't even open and we dropped it off. From the final day of traveled to the time to return, it did nothing but storm. At one point it seemed to lighten up, so we opened the gate and a bunch of stuff got flung around from getting ourselves off the road as fast as we could when we lost the hitch. So on top of some broken glass that slid to the door. A few things fell out and had to be retrieved before landing in puddles as stuff kept rolling towards us. By the time we did that, I started to move things and was only on the ramp and no room to step in yet, and the sky not only opened up, it hailed. On my back. Btw, hail hurts. So no. We did not have a good experience.

Kenneth LDidn’t have the truck I reserved. I ordered 12 furniture blankets. They only had 6 and charged us for extra mileage in the truck. We used it for 15 miles and charged me $38.00 for gas for 15 miles. Will never use them or recommend them ever
