I didn't know that I should have read the text/email I got that said to take a picture of the back of the truck with the license plate. It has been a long time since I rented from U-Haul and didn't know that was a thing. There was a smoky smell in the truck from someone smoking. Staff offered to de-odorize and also noted it in my pickup info so I didn't get charged. I understand how it must be frustrating to you all when folks smoke in the trucks. They really need to be charged a hefty cleaning fee.
