Everything as far as picking up the truck was fine. But once I went to a different location to gather the storage unit information, it was not explained to me. All I received was the PIN number and that's it. Once I arrived to the storage units I then received a call from UHAUL staff apologizing that they did not explain anything and still did not on that phone call.

The owner northview bait and tackle in Sioux falls South Dakota, the location I picked up the car hauler that would be the bait and tackle shop was by far the kindest and best person I've ever dealt with while doing with you guys.

The employee just asked if I was dropping off a truck and then asked for the key. He said that was it. I was done. I asked about checking the mileage and he said he'd get it. I felt uncomfortable not having him look at the truck while I was there. So I asked for the key and went out and wrote down the mileage and took a picture of the blankets and appliance dolly laying in the empty cargo bay. A little more customer service would have gone a long way.

Location was great. Staff was extremely helpful. Truck was as advertised. Check engine light was on when I started truck and employee came out and checked out the truck before allowing me to take it. Will rent from this location again.

We picked up the trailer and drove for an hour trailer was not riding right went out and looked and there was two different size tires on the trailer And we had seven more hours to go very disappointing

The truck I rented was dirty inside and out. Had to sweep cargo area before I could load. Plus came with a pickle some ketchup and a chewed piece of gum in the cup holder. Truck belt squieled the whole time. I had to fight to keep the truck on the road and out of the ditch the whole time while driving. This rental should of been free!!!

Interior of truck was not clean when I got it, I bought wipes and wiped down the entire cab. There were crumbs from a previous trip in the windshield and 2 receipts for gas left in the truck as well. Super nice young man running it, easy to work with and helpful but it may have been a quick turn around.

The left turning signal was out to I had to drive behind the trailer to ensure we could signal when turning. When we told them we were moving to Lousiville Ky, they gave us a drop off location in Indiana, 30 minutes away. When we called to reschedule the pick up at a closer location, the lady we spoke to at this location (6456 Outer Loop, Louisville, KY 40228) was very rude and acted like this was a huge inconvenience for her to deal with and if she did, she would charge us a fee for having to do so. She then transferred us to someone else who said they had no idea how to help us (but she was nice about it unlike the first gal) and then transferred us to a third person whom by that time we had given up and just took it to the registered location. We've used uhaul many times before and this is by far the only/worst experience we've had.

Website lied about matching truck and trailer, got there and the trailer was a foot short, later called the uhaul service number and was not allowed a refund for a mishap on their part. Very poor customer service for a multimillion dollar company

I had selected another location closer to me however. This added extra miles to my move that you charged me for. You had even confirmed my location I picked in an email and when I went there they said it was at another location. Communication of this would have been great. The folks at Northview we're pleasant and good to deal with however communication on your part would have been great and you could have comped new the extra miles to and from.

Smells like a bait shop(which it is). Brought trailer in at 10:50 and didnt process till 11.10. So I got charged a extra $20. Called uhaul they said it's not there problem. Have to go back to drop location for refund. Again poor company customer service..

I'm not sure where the fault lies, but the "Days Allowed" were incorrectly recorded on the CONTRACT at the pick up location as "4" when I was told over the phone and received a text stating that "the rental is due back on September 1 at 1:00 PM..." which was 6 days AND the "Mileage Allowed" was incorrectly recorded at "622" miles when I had been told over the phone that by having to drive 116 miles from Sioux Falls to Platte, SD to pick up our household belongings, U-Haul would allow me to have 753 miles to make the trip from Platte, SD to West Bend, WI... later changed by U-Haul to return the truck to Watertown, WI. Had the attendant at the pick up location taken the time to review with me these two main points of the contract; the DAYS ALLOWED and the MILEAGE ALLOWED before asking me to sign the contract, I could have asked that the contract be corrected right then and there. However, I was in a hurry and was given the contract to sign trusting that it was correct and in order. I had no reason to think that it would be incorrect. I would have rated the pick up location excellent otherwise. I think that the error was made by the central dispatch office of U-Haul who failed to document the correct DAYS ALLOWED and MILEAGE ALLOWED in each of the pick up location changes that were made when the original nearest location (Kimball, SD) was unable to provide the truck reserved. In each of the telephone conversations, emails, and texts that were sent to me, the DAYS ALLOWED and MILEAGE ALLOWED should have been clearly stated. The result of this careless mistake was that I was billed the DAY AFTER I returned the truck at 3:15 PM on 8/30/19 for EXTRA DAY x1 and EXTRA MILES x102.8 for $100.35 when I had actually returned the truck 1.5 days early and had driven 28.2 miles less than allowed (753-724.8).
